Operating your Fan
Always choose a safe location for the fan, keeping in mind the safety precautions outlined.
Ensure all packaging has been removed from the unit before use. This appliance requires no
installation, it should be used solely as a portable appliance.
FAN OPERATING INSTRUCTION
WARNING: Keep all objects at least 1 metre from the front, sides and rear
of the appliance
Once the fan has been assembled correctly, connect the mains plug to the mains socket.
To turn fan on press ‘ON/SPEED’ on the control box or on the remote. When the fan is on, it will
start in low speed and the display shows .
Repeatedly press ’ON/SPEED’ to select the desired fan speed from 1 to 8.
To turn the fan off press ‘OFF’ on the control box or on the remote.
To make the fan oscillate press ‘SWING’. To stop oscillation press ‘SWING’ again.
Tilt adjusting: To adjust the air flow upward or downward, push the guard lightly to the desired
direction.
WIND MODE
Press the ‘MODE’ button on remote to select the desired wind mode.
There are three wind modes: normal, nature and sleep.
When ‘Normal’ wind is selected the indicating light on the control panel will be on
When ‘Natural’ wind is selected the indicating light on the control panel will be on.
When ‘Sleep’ wind is selected the indicating light on the control panel will be on.
You cannot change the fan speed in Natural and Sleep modes.
TIMER (Remote Control Only)
You can set the fan to automatically turn itself off within a desired time period from 0.5 to 7.5
hours. When the fan is on. Press on the remote then press the ‘+’ or ‘-’ buttons to select the
fan to automatically turn itself off within a desired time period from 0.5 to 7.5 hours.
On the control panel, the corresponding lights will show on the panel.
REMOTE CONTROL
The remote control buttons perform the same functions as those on the
control panel of the unit.
To replace the batteries in the remote control, use a screwdriver to unscrew
and lift the battery cover. Replace all batteries with 2 x AAA type batteries.
Ensure you insert new batteries with the polarities in the correct direction.
Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw.
Remove batteries when unit is not being used for prolonged periods.
Do not dispose of batteries in fire as batteries may leak or explode.
Do not recharge non-rechargeable batteries.
