Bosch BBHL21841 Questions and Answers

#1 My vacuum cleaner whistles. What should I do?

If your vacuum cleaner whistles, this is usually a sign that your device can’t suck in sufficient air. Often, it’s the dust container or bag that’s full. Check these first and exchange them if necessary. If that’s not the case, it could be that the device is blocked. Check that the exhaust filter, the nozzle, the tube, the suction pipe, the telescopic pipe or the floor attachment aren’t blocked. Follow the principle of exclusion and attach each piece one by one

#2 My vacuum cleaner is clogged. What should I do?

If you need to unclog your vacuum cleaner hose, please check to see if something has become jammed in the vacuum cleaner hose. It’s often easier said than done as the vacuum cleaner hose is quite long. Try to detach it and look through it. Still can’t? Then try pushing a broom handle through the hose. This will usually clear the clogged vacuum cleaner hose.

#3 how to Cleaning your vacuum cleaner?

You want to clean your vacuum cleaner? Whether it’s the vacuum cleaner filter, the vacuum cleaner hose, the vacuum cleaner tube or any other part, read our tips on cleaning your vacuum cleaner:

Cleaning the vacuum cleaner brushes or vacuum cleaner tube is very easy. Detach them, check that nothing has become jammed in them, remove the lint from the brush and wash it under warm running water without detergent and then let it dry in the air.

You can do something similar to clean the vacuum cleaner filter. If this is washable, it can be cleaned with just water and no detergent. Allow it to dry in air for 24 hours.

Cleaning your vacuum cleaner hose is, in principle, identical. If you’ve think something is jammed in the vacuum cleaner hose, you can carefully push a broom handle or other long object inside and try to clear the jammed object.

To clean a bagless vacuum cleaner, remove the dust holder from the device, empty it and wash it under warm running water and allow it to dry fully. Under no circumstances should you put it back in the device while it is still wet. It must be totally dry. The same applies to cleaning the filter in bagless vacuum cleaners. Take it out of the vacuum cleaner, follow the instructions in the instruction manual and only clean it with water. It should also be allowed to dry at room temperature for at least 24 hours.
