combustibles, structures or damage fuel tank
causing a fire, resulting in death or serious injury.
• Portable generator must be at least 5ft. (1.5m) from
any structure, overhang, trees, shrubs, or vegetation over
12 in. (30.5 cm) in height.
• Do not place portable generator under a deck or
other type of structure that may confine airflow.
Smoke alarm(s) must be installed and maintained
indoors according to the manufacturer’s instructions/
recommendations.
• Carbon monoxide alarms cannot detect smoke.
• Do not place portable generator in manner other than
shown.
