Emerson 1F95-1291 Questions and Answers

#1 Does this control the humidity? Like say you want it to be at 50% How does it do this?

Yes, but we had to have our furnace control rewired. Simply push the humidity button then the up and down buttons to choose percent

#2 Will this thermostat control humidity without dehumidifier?

In the AC mode when the humidity gets above the set amount, the AC will come on regardless of temperature. It will run and drop the humidity possibly dropping temperature below the setting.

#3 Can it be tested off the wall? Will HUM ON appear when thermostat is off the wall?

It's not wireless, so it needs to communicate through the thermostat wiring...
