Advanced remote control troubleshooting
If you remove a cable/satellite box, and are unable to control the TV, you may need to erase
the remote codes and reprogram TV code.
To erase codes
1. Press and hold the Program and Guide buttons for 3 seconds.
2. Enter 977.
3. Press Program to complete code erasure.
Once you have erased the codes, you can reprogram the TV code. See “Programming the
advanced remote” on page 28.
To verify codes
1. For cable/satellite box, press and hold the Program and Guide buttons for 3 seconds.
For TV, press and hold the Program and TV ON-OFF buttons for 3 seconds.
2. Enter 990.
3. Press 1 — the remote will flash the first number of the code (typically zero).
4. Press 2 — the remote will flash the second number of the code.
5. Press 3 — the remote will flash the third number of the code.
6. Press 4 — the remote will flash the fourth number of the code.
7. Press Program to complete.

ferable warranty. Details of the limited warranty are provided on the warranty card that came
with your system.
Accessories
The Bose 3•2•1 and 3•2•1 GS system shelf speakers are compatible with Bose mounting
accessories, including the UB-20 wall brackets, UFS-20 floor stands and UTS-20 table
stands. Bose also offers cable adapters for use in running speaker cable through walls.
For further information or to order the advanced remote control, mounting brackets, stands,
or cable adapters, contact your Bose dealer. Or, to call Bose directly, refer to the address
sheet included with the system.
FM sound is distorted Adjust antenna position to reduce interference.
Sound is distorted Make sure speaker cables are not damaged and the connections are secure.
Reduce the output level from any external components connected to the music center.
Picture is black and
white or rolling
Check the video cable connections.
Check the Video Format setting and change to appropriate setting (NTSC or PAL).

You forgot your
password
Enter the password 2673 to access the parental controls and create a new password.
