#1 How does it work when there is a lot of cat hair? (even after vacuuming first)

I'm a dog groomer and I work from home so I do get quite a bit of hair hiding in my carpet.. Even after vacuuming first I do pick up dog hair in this vacuum. It doesn't clog the machine at all, most of it goes into the dirty water resovoir and is easy to wash out. You will just have to check the rotating brushes regularly and clean them whenever they have a significant amount of hair wrapped on them. They are completely removable and easy to clean.

#2 How long does it take carpet to dry? Do I need to wait some hours before walking on the carpet after cleaning?

It dries quite quickly if you go over the carpet a few times to suck the moisture in after cleaning. I was able to walk on the carpet (medium pile) after about an hour.
