Filter Maintenance
The intake hose is equipped with a water lter to protect
the pump. If the lter is not kept clean, the water ow to the
appliance will be restricted and the pump may be damaged.
Periodically check the lter at the end of the intake hose for
debris and make sure it is in good condition.
1. Pull back the quick-connector collar, and pull out the lter
cage from the end of the intake hose (Fig. 10)
2. Remove the quick-connector end from the lter cage by
unscrewing it counter-clockwise, then remove the lter
inside the cage (Fig. 13).
3. Rinse the lter with clean water, or replace with a new
lter. Insert it back into the lter cage. Reconnect the
quick-connector end and twist to tighten securely.
Storage
Follow these recommendations for storing the misting fan:
Switch o the unit, remove the battery. Thoroughly clean
the housing and bucket as indicated. Drain out any water in
the hose and pump.
Store indoors in a safe location out of the reach of
children. Keep away from corrosive agents, such as garden
chemicals and de-icing salt.
