5. Handling
Press the opening buon to open the cover. Then ll the Arendo kele with cold
water and close the cover by pressing down the cover unl it locks.
Important note: On the outside there is a scale. Please make sure not to ll in more
than the maximum level as marked on the scale. If the kele is overlled, boiling
water can be ejected. Put the kele on the base. On the base staon there are
buons for selecng dierent water temperatures. Press the buon which corre-
sponds to your desired temperature. The buon starts ashing. In order to begin
the cooking process, press the “ON / OFF” buon. The LED of the “ON / OFF” buon
switches from green (OFF) to red (ON). As soon as the water reaches the target
temperature, the kele switches o and it will produce a short beep. The heang
element switches o automacally and the process has been completed. Now the
unit can be lied up and the water can be used.
5.1 “KEEP WARM”
The “KEEP WARM” funcon allows you to maintain a specic temperature. Press
“KEEP WARM” and select a temperature. Make sure you are able to select only
70 ° C, 80 ° C or 90 ° C. Once you have selected your desired temperature, press
the “ON / OFF” buon. Then the kele heats up to the previously set value and
holds it.
6. Decaling and cleaning
We recommend decalcifying the kele in regular intervals, depending on the in-
tensity of use. Before cleaning, it is essenal to remove the power plug from the
socket and wait unl the device is completely cooled down. The scale lter is locat-
ed prior to the spout. To remove the lter, open the cover and push the plasc ap
downwards. Then deep clean the taken lter with warm water and insert it into
the holder again. When inserng the lter, take care that the retaining lug is xed
to the guide rail.Only use convenonal decaling agents based on citric acid. Please
follow the manufacturer´s instrucons for dosing the respecve product you have
chosen. The heang element must not be cleaned and never be processed with
sharp or hard objects. For cleaning the outer surface of the kele, only use a damp
cloth. Never use hard or abrasive objects like a wire brush or a steel-sponge for
