Aria Air Fryers CPA-895 Questions and Answers

  • Total questions: 1

#1 Is the fry basket Teflon coated?

Info says ceramic coated, but this stuff flakes after 4 months just like Teflon. I have never had ceramic cookware of any brand flake as this fryer does. If it ain't Teflon, it sure looks and behaves like it!

#2 Does this dehydrate?

Yes, you can run the air fryer and dry out any food product inside.

#3 What is the size of the inside cooking space?

It is big enough to roast a whole chicken, or a whole fish, or 2 steaks.

#4 Does the ceramic coating really come off over time as one reviewer has shown us?

Haven't had mine long enough but I have to say if it does wear away at least you know it's real ceramic as it claims. Ceramic is great for health but doesn't hold up well and loses its nob stick properties when regularly exposed to high temps. I prefer the healthier ceramic to Teflon and can just use a replacement basket when needed. No other ceramic options out there yet, unfortunately.

#5 Are there any plastic parts?

The only plastic part of the Aria air fryer is the the outer shell. All the rest is metal.

#6 Do you remove the rubber tabs on the crisper rack?

Yes, I removed the rubber tabs on the crisper rack. Have to be careful not to scratch the inner surface of the fryer basket.
