6. Descaling and cleaning
• We recommend to descale the kele at regular intervals depending upon the
intensity of use.
• Before cleaning, pull out the power plug and wait unl the appliance cools
down completely.
• The an-scale lter is located in front of the spout opening. Open the lid and
press the plasc tab of the an-scale lter down to remove the lter.
• Rinse the lter thoroughly using warm water and then replace it back into its
posion.
• When replacing, ensure that the an-scale lter sits properly in the guide rail.
• Please use only commercially available descaling agents based on citric acid
to descale the water container.
• For the appropriate dosage, please refer to the specicaons on the package
or insert of the descaling agent.
• The heang plate should not be specically cleaned. Do not use any hard
objects on the heang plate.
• Use only a damp cloth for cleaning the kele externally.
• Do not use any abrasive items like wire brush or steel sponge for cleaning.
• Never use any cleaning agents which may corrode the surface or present a
health risk if consumed!
• Never immerse the device, the power cable or the plug in water or in any
other liquid to prevent risk of electric shock.
• For devices with a limescale lter in front of the spout opening, please pro-
ceed as follows: Open the lid and push the plasc tab of the limescale lter
downwards to remove the lter. Rinse the lter thoroughly with warm water
and reinsert it into the posture. When inserng, make sure that the lime lter
is seated in the slide rail.
