Important!
Only use cookware with a base suitable for induction cooking. Look for the induction symbol on the packaging or the
bottom of the pan.
You can check whether your cookware is suitable by carrying out a magnet test. Move a magnet towards the base of
the pan. If it is attracted, the pan is suitable for induction.
If you do not have a magnet:
1. Put some water in the pan you want to check.
2. Place a suitable pan on the cooking zone you wish to use. Make sure the bottom of the pan and the surface of the cooking zone are clean and dry.
Turn on the cooking zone.
3. If does not ash in the display and the water is heating, the pan is suitable.
Note: If the pan detection symbol does appear on the display, your pan is not suitable and the worktop will not operate. After 10 minutes without
detecting any pan, the cooking zone
switches o automatically and can only be switched on after the control dial has been returned to “0” (O).
Cookware made from the following materials is not suitable: pure stainless steel, aluminium or copper without a magnetic base, glass, wood,
porcelain, ceramic, earthenware. Do not use cookware with jagged edges or a curved base.
Make sure that the base of your pan is smooth, sits at against the glass, and is approximately the same size as the cooking zone. Always centre your
pan on the cooking zone.
Always lift pans o the worktop – do not slide, or they may scratch the glass.
Important!
The cooking zones will not operate if the pan diameter is too small (will appear on the cooking zone display). To correctly use the
cooking zones follow the indications given in the following table.
Important: When bridge mode is activated, if one zone is not covered by cookware, the pot missing symbol starts to ash and in a few
seconds the bridge function stops working.
Note: some types of pans can cause noise when used on an induction cooking zone. This noise does not mean any failure on the
appliance and does not inuence the cooking
