Quick Start Guide
ACX-300.1
6. Protection LED – This LED will shine if there is a problem being
sensed by the unit. See troubleshooting section for best practice
to determine the cause of the issue.
7. Gain Control - This controls allows you to adjust the overall
output level, with counterclockwise decreasing the level and
clockwise increasing. Adjust this knob to the point where the
Maximized light shines briey. This will be your optimal gain
setting.
8. Low Pass Crossover – Since component speakers (like woofers)
are designed to reproduce certain frequency ranges, a crossover
allows you to match the speaker to the appropriate frequency
range. Choosing the correct crossover point based on the man-
ufacturer’s specication will provide increased speaker reliability
and optimum sound quality. The ACX-300.1 amplier has select-
able 12 dB/Octave Linkwitz-Riley crossover points at 80 Hz, 120
Hz, and a “bypass” option. The amplier reproduces the frequency
range below the crossover point. Select the crossover frequency
on the ACX-300.1 amplier to best match the value specied by
your loudspeaker’s manufacturer.
