POWER

Hold for 3 sec. to turn unit on/off. Indicator light turns off after 60 seconds unless plugged in and charging.

VOLUME

Long press for quick change in volume.

Short press for one increment change.

VOLUME

Short press to choose sound: bright white noise, deep white noise, or surf.

CHARGING

Low battery = Fast blinks

Charging = Slow blinks

How long does it last on giving white noise

• Connected to electricity all the time and without connecting for like 5 hours.

What is white noise?

• White noise is a way to have sound around you when the environment is too quiet. white noise is that stuff that goes on in the background that can help block out unwanted sounds or block out no sound. Some people need to sleep with a fan running, that bit of extra noise when falling asleep is considered White noise.

To the manufacturer, is the sound electronically produced and on a repeating loop?

• Yes. the sound will repeat until the battery runs out, or it is turned off. you can plug in the device and use it while it is recharging for longer use. the sound is programmed in and it is produced electronically.

How long does it take to load?

• A little from one to an hour and a half maximum.

Can this use earphones?

• Not. Only one plot for the USB

Where is the light? I don’t know how to tell if it’s charging.

• There is a small light on the side right next to the charging port

Does it turn off automatically?

• No. Press the power button for two seconds to turn it off. So far, I usually charge every day, but if I miss, it still runs for a second night; don't know how long before the battery completely discharges.

Can the device be used while plugged into power?

• Yes, I use it all the time plugged in. Only uses the USB Port though.

Does this blow wind to generate sound (fan-type), or plays an audio sound like a stereo?

• It's a digital sound like your tv- 3 different sounds- they are great and I've had the mechanical marc for 12 years and can switch to this with no problem.

Rohm placement

For sound-masking purposes, rohm is most effective when placed between yourself and the source of noise. For example, in an urban environment, rohm might best be placed by the window to block outside street noise. Perhaps you have a noisy neighbor - in this instance, placement against a shared wall will be the most helpful. If the sounds are within your own household, placing the machine closest to the wall that adjoins the living room or hanging it on the doorknob will provide the greatest relief. Finally, if the noise is right next to your head, as in the instance of a snoring partner, the machine should be between the two of you on a headboard, if possible. Otherwise, the nightstand on your side of the bed makes the most sense.

In general, we recommend placing rohm at least three feet (one meter) away from you. This lets the sound ll the space in order to provide the greatest sound-masking benet and creates a soothing sound environment conducive to sleep, concentration, or privacy.

• Battery shall not be exposed to excessive heat such as direct sunshine or re.

UNPACKING AND INSTALLATION

• Unpack your unit carefully. We recommend that you save the packaging in case you ever need to store you unit. To avoid damage, never place the unit or its battery near radiators, in front of heating vents, under direct sunlight or near water.

FOR YOUR SAFETY

1. When disconnecting the power supply, pull the plug first. Do not pull the cord by itself.
2. Never handle the power plug with wet hands, as this could cause re or electric shock.
3. Refer servicing to qualified personnel only.
4. Do not open the housing.
5. Do not twist or pinch the power supply cord. If the plug or power supply cord needs to be replaced, ensure that it complies with the manufacturer's recommendation.
6. Unplug the unit during lightning storms.

DISPOSAL

• According to the European WEEE Directive (2002/96/EC) and Battery Directive (2006/66/EC), all electrical and electronic products and batteries must be collected separately by a local collection system. Do not dispose of these items with your normal household waste.
• Follow local regulations for safe disposal.
• The wheeled bin mark indicates that this product should not be disposed with other household waste throughout the EU. To prevent possible harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled waste disposal, recycle it responsibly to promote the sustainable reuse of material resources. To return your used device, please use the return and collection systems or contact the retailer where the product was purchased. They can take this product for environmental safe recycling.
