The most convenient way to measure your baby’s temperature is to use the
soother thermometer according to this user manual. This method gives a reliable
indication. If you need additional reassurance (for example if the rst measured
temperature is above 38°C), you can then use the digital exible-tip thermometer
to take an axial (underarm) or a rectal (anal) measurement.
Note: Oral measurements are usually 0.5 to 1°C lower than the actual body
temperature.

The temperature of a child is normally between 36.5 and 37.5°C. However, you
have to keep in mind that a child’s temperature varies depending on age, activity,
time of day, etc. Also remember that some illnesses do not have high temperature
as a symptom.Temperature measurement should not be a substitute for consulting
your physician. When reporting your child’s temperature to a professional, state the
measurement method.

The most convenient way to measure your baby’s temperature is to use the
soother thermometer. This is also the most comfortable method for the baby.
Do not use the soother thermometer for 30 minutes after the baby has had hot
or cold drinks, as this causes an inaccurate measurement.
