Question Answer
What can I do when
some parts of the
thermometers are
broken (e.g. the exible
tip)?
Do not use the thermometers if any part of them
is cracked. If the thermometers are damaged or
broken, they have to be discarded.
The thermometers do
not work. What is wrong?
The batteries of the thermometers may be empty.
For instructions on how to replace the battery of
the exible-tip thermometer, see chapter ‘Replacing
the battery’. The battery of the soother
thermometer cannot be replaced. When this
battery is empty, the soother thermometer must be
discarded.
Check if the measurement unit of the soother
thermometer is rmly attached to the soother and
completely locked into position, i.e. turned all the
way to the ‘closed lock’ symbol.
Can I sterilise the
thermometers?
You cannot sterilise the exible-tip thermometer.
You can only boil or sterilise the soother and the
protection cap of the soother thermometer. Make
sure you remove the measurement unit before
boiling or sterilising. For instructions on how to
clean the thermometers, see chapter ‘Cleaning’.
The display does not
show anything. What is
the cause?
The batteries of the thermometers may be empty.
For instructions on how to replace the battery of
the exible-tip thermometer, see chapter ‘Replacing
the battery’. The battery of the soother
thermometer cannot be replaced. When this
battery is empty, the soother thermometer must be
discarded.
Perhaps the battery of the exible-tip thermometer
makes poor contact. Clean the battery and the
contact surface with a cotton swab. Please note that
the measurement unit of the soother thermometer
cannot be opened.
