o It is highly recommended that the hood lights are only used
when the appliance is in operation. They should not be used as a
permanent lighting source for your kitchen.
Speed selection
o To switch the cooker hood motor on you should press the speed
selection button. The motor has 3 speeds which are LOW,
MEDIUM and HIGH.
o One press of the speed selection button will cause the motor to
run at LOW speed.
o Two presses of the speed selection button will cause the motor
to run at MEDIUM speed.
o Three presses of the speed selection button will cause the motor
to run at HIGH speed.
o Another press of the speed selection button will return the motor
to LOW speed.
o To switch the hood off after use, press the power button. When
you next turn the hood on using the power button, the motor will
start to work at the speed it was set on last time.
IMPORTANT: IDEALLY YOU SHOULD TURN ON YOUR
HOOD TEN MINUTES BEFORE YOU START TO COOK,
OR AT THE VERY LEAST WHEN YOU BEGIN COOKING.
YOU SHOULD ALSO RUN YOUR HOOD FOR TEN
MINUTES AFTER YOU HAVE FINISHED COOKING.
The cut-off timer
o You can program your cooker hood to switch off automatically
after a set time.
o To set a cut-off time, switch the hood on and select a speed.
Then press the timer button to enter the countdown setting
mode.
o You can then use the speed selection button to set the required
countdown time when you wish for your hood to switch off.
When you first press the speed selection button, the display will
show the minimum cut-off time of 5 minutes. Each press of the
speed selection button after this will increase the cut-off time by
1 minute.
o The maximum countdown time that you can set is 60 minutes.
