3. Turn the bulb holder for the reversing
light, arrow, counterclockwise and re-
move it.
4. Remove the bulb holder from the open-
ing.
5. Press the nonworking bulb gently into
the socket, turn counterclockwise and
remove.
6. Proceed in the reverse order to insert
the new bulb and attach the bulb holder.
Make sure that the bulb holder engages
in all fasteners.

and bulbs, refer to page 278.
The lights feature LED technology. In the
case of a malfunction, contact a dealer's
service center or another qualified service
center or repair shop.
Vehicle battery
General information
The battery is maintenance-free.
More information about the battery can be
requested from a dealer's service center or
another qualified service center or repair
shop.
Safety information
DANGER
Contact with live components can lead to
an electric shock. There is a risk of inju-
ries or danger to life. Do not touch any
components that are under voltage.
Warning
Vehicle batteries that are not compatible
can damage vehicle systems and impair
vehicle functions. There is a risk of an ac-
cident and damage to property. Only vehi-
cle batteries that are compatible with your
vehicle type should be installed in your ve-
hicle. Information on compatible vehicle
batteries is available at your dealer’s serv-
ice center.
Register the battery to the vehicle
The manufacturer of the vehicle recom-
mends that you have a service center or an-
other qualified service center or repair shop
register the vehicle battery to the vehicle
after the battery has been replaced. Once
the battery has been registered again, all
comfort features will be available without
restriction and any Check Control messages
displayed which relate to comfort features
will disappear.
