Danger
Keep long hair away from moving parts.
1
. Attach one of the coarse sapphire wheels (large or small) to the manicure device.
2
. Switch on the manicure device at the rotary switch.
3
. Use the coarse filing disc to carefully shorten and shape your finger-
nails or toenails. When doing so, always guide the filing disc from
the outer edge of the nail to the nail tip.
4
. Then insert one of the two fine filing discs (course or fine) onto the
manicure device.
5
. Use this to carefully smooth the edges of your already shortened
fingernails or toenails. In this case too, always guide the filing disc
from the outside of the nail to the tip of the nail.
Removing cuticles
Attachments required: cuticle remover, electrical cuticle remover
1
. Soften your nails prior to the cuticle treatment (see manicure pre-treatment section).
2
. Push back the cuticles using the mechanical cuticle remover.
3
. Carefully push back the edges of the cuticles using the electric cuti-
cle remover.
4
. Remove dead skin from the edges of your nails using the thin
sapphire cone.
You can also use the thin sapphire cone to treat ingrowing nails
(particularly toenails).
Buffing nails
Attachments required: buffing disc
1
. Carefully remove nail varnish residue and uneven sections using the
cylindrical cutter.
2
. Then buff the surfaces and edges of the nails using the buffing disc,
guiding the buffing disc over the nails using circular movements.

Never let the buffing disc rest in one position as the resulting friction
could lead to a considerable amount of heat generation.
