5. Select a storage device for importing the
driver profile.

Displaying driver profiles during
start
The driver profiles can be displayed during each
start to select the desired profile.

System limits
A clear assignment between the remote control
and driver may not be possible in the following
cases, for example.
▷ The passenger unlocks the vehicle with his or
her own remote control, but another person
is driving.
▷ The driver unlocks the vehicle via Comfort
Access and has multiple remote controls with
him or her.
▷ The driver changes, but the vehicle is not
locked and unlocked.
▷ Multiple remote controls are located outside
of the vehicle.
Settings
General information
Depending on the vehicle equipment and coun‐
try version, various settings for opening and clos‐
ing are possible.
These settings are stored for the driver profile,
refer to page 82, currently used.
Unlocking
Doors
Via iDrive:
1.
"My Vehicle"
2. "Vehicle settings"
3. "Doors/Key"
4. "Driver's door" or "All doors"
5. Select desired setting:
▷ "Driver's door only"
Only the driver's door and the fuel filler
flap are unlocked. Pressing again unlocks
the entire vehicle.
▷ "All doors"
The entire vehicle is unlocked.
Tailgate
Depending on the vehicle equipment and coun‐
try version, this setting may not be offered.

The text next to the symbol indicates the cur‐
rent setting.
