WARNING:
All packing materials, such as tags and packaging locks, are not part of this product, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
This product is not intended for use in cribs. Do not leave infant unattended with product.
NOTE: Please keep this instruction manual, as it contains important information.
How to Install Batteries:
• Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
• Locate the battery cover. Use a coin to loosen the screw.
• Remove the battery compartment door and the exhausted batteries (if applicable).
• Install 3 new AAA batteries, following the diagram inside the battery compartment.
NOTE: We recommend using alkaline batteries for longer battery life.
• Replace the battery compartment door and tighten the screw to secure.
NOTE: When sounds become faint or stop, it is time for an adult to change the batteries.
CAUTION: All servicing of this product must be performed by authorized HoMedics Service Personnel only.
Listening to the Sounds:
• Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds to turn ON. The red LED power indicator will illuminate.
• Select the sound you wish to listen to and press the corresponding button.
NOTE: When the unit is turned on, it will always default to the last sound used.
• To adjust the volume, press the
button or button to your desired level.
• Press and hold the POWER button for 2 seconds to turn OFF.
Using the Auto-Timer:
When the power is on and you are listening to a sound, you may set the timer so that the unit will
automatically turn off after 15, 30, or 45 minutes.
• Press timer button
. The green LED timer indicator under the specified timer setting will illuminate.
• Keep pressing the timer button
to move through different timer options. The timer feature has been
turned off when the green LEDs are glowing.
Battery Precautions:
1. Replace all batteries at the same time. Do not mix new and used batteries. Do not mix alkaline
and rechargeable batteries.
2. Clean the battery contacts and the contacts of the device with a dry cloth prior to installing the batteries.
3. Ensure the batteries are installed correctly with regard to polarity (+ /–).
4. Remove batteries from the unit when the unit is not used for an extended period of time.
5. Keep batteries away from children.
6. Batteries are small objects and could be ingested. If swallowed, contact a physician at once.
7. Remove depleted batteries from the unit promptly. Dispose of used batteries safely.
8. Do not open batteries or dispose of in fire.

and (2) this device must accept any interference received, including interference that may cause undesired operation.

LIMITED 90-DAY WARRANTY
HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship for a period of 90 days from the date of original purchase, except as noted below.
HoMedics warrants that its products will be free of defects in material and workmanship under normal use and service. This warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Retailers.
To obtain warranty service on your HoMedics product, contact a Consumer Relations representative for assistance. Please make sure to have the model number of the product available.
HoMedics does not authorize anyone, including, but not limited to, Retailers, the subsequent consumer purchaser of the product from a Retailer, or remote purchasers, to obligate HoMedics in
any way beyond the terms set forth herein. This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of any unauthorized accessory; alteration to the product;
improper installation; unauthorized repairs or modifications; improper use of electrical/power supply; loss of power; dropped product; malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to
provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance; transportation damage; theft; neglect; vandalism; environmental conditions; loss of use during the period the product is at a repair facility or
otherwise awaiting parts or repair; or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the country in which the product is purchased. A product that requires modifications or adoption to enable it to operate in
any other country than the country for which it was designed, manufactured, approved and/or authorized, or repair of products damaged by these modifications, is not covered under this warranty.

LIMITED 1-YEAR WARRANTY
“We” or “us” means HoMedics Australia Pty Ltd ACN 31 103 985 717, and our contact details are set out at the end of this warranty;
“You” means the purchaser or the original end user of the Goods. You may be a domestic user or a professional user;
“Supplier” means the authorised distributor or retailer of the Goods that sold you the Goods in Australia and New Zealand; and
“Goods” means the product or equipment which was accompanied by this warranty and purchased in Australia and New Zealand.
For Australia:
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. You are entitled, subject to the provisions of the Australian
Consumer Law, to a replacement or refund for a major failure and for compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also
entitled, subject to the provisions of the Australian Consumer Law, to have the Goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the
failure does not amount to a major failure. This is not a complete statement of your legal rights as a consumer.
For New Zealand:
Our Goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993. This guarantee applies in addition to the conditions
and guarantees implied by that legislation.
The Warranty
HoMedics sells its products with the intent that they are free of defects in manufacture and workmanship under normal use and service. In the unlikely
event that your HoMedics product proves to be faulty within 1 year from the date of purchase due to workmanship or materials only, we will replace it at
our own expense, subject to the terms and conditions of this guarantee. The warranty period is limited to 3 months from the date of purchase for products
used commercially/professionally.
Terms and Conditions:
In addition to the rights and remedies that you have under the Australian Consumer Law, the Consumer Guarantees Act of New Zealand, or any other
applicable law and without excluding such rights and remedies warranty against defects:
The Goods are designed to withstand the rigors of normal household use and are manufactured to the highest standards using the highest quality
components. Whilst unlikely, if, during the first 12 months (3 months commercial use) from their date of purchase from the Supplier (Warranty Period),
the Goods prove defective by reason of improper workmanship or materials and none of your statutory rights or remedies apply, we will replace the
Goods, subject to the terms and conditions of this warranty.
We do not have to replace the Goods under this Additional Warranty if the Goods have been damaged due to misuse or abuse, accident, the attachment
of any unauthorised accessory, alteration to the product, improper installation, unauthorised repairs or modifications, improper use of electrical/power
supply, loss of power, malfunction or damage of an operating part from failure to provide manufacturer’s recommended maintenance, transportation
damage, theft, neglect, vandalism, environmental conditions, or any other conditions whatsoever that are beyond the control of HoMedics.
This Warranty does not extend to the purchase of used, repaired, or second-hand products or to products not imported or supplied by HoMedics Australia
Pty Ltd, including but not limited to those sold on offshore internet auction sites.
This Warranty extends only to consumers and does not extend to Suppliers.
Even when we do not have to replace the Goods, we may decide to do so anyway. In some cases, we may decide to substitute the Goods with a similar
alternative product of our choosing. All such decisions are at our absolute discretion.
All such replaced or substituted Goods continue to receive the benefit of this Additional Warranty for the time remaining on the original Warranty Period
(or 3 months, whichever is the longest).
This Additional Warranty does not cover items damaged by normal wear and tear, including but not limited to chips, scratches, abrasions, discolouration,
and other minor defects, where the damage has negligible effect on the operation or performance of the Goods.
This Additional Warranty is limited to replacement or substitution only. As far as the law permits, we will not be liable for any loss or damage caused to
property or persons arising from any cause whatsoever and shall have no liability for any incidental, consequential, or special damages.
This warranty is only valid and enforceable in Australia and New Zealand.
Making a Claim:
In order to claim under this warranty, you must return the Goods to the Supplier (place of purchase) for replacement. If this is not possible, please
contact our Customer Service department by email: [email protected] or at the address below.
All returned Goods must be accompanied by satisfactory proof of purchase which clearly indicates the name and address of the Supplier, the date and the
place of purchase, and identifies the product. It is best to provide an original, legible, and unmodified receipt or sales invoice.
You must bear any expense for return of the Goods or otherwise associated with making your claim under this Additional Warranty.

This warranty does not extend to the purchase of opened, used, repaired, repackaged and/or resealed products, including but not limited to the sale of such
products on Internet auction sites and/or sales of such products by surplus or bulk resellers. Any and all warranties or guarantees shall immediately cease and
terminate as to any products or parts thereof which are repaired, replaced, altered, or modified without the prior express and written consent of HoMedics.
This warranty provides you with specific legal rights. You may have additional rights which may vary from state to state and country to country. Because of
individual state and country regulations, some of the above limitations and exclusions may not apply to you.

Installation des piles :
• S’assurer que l’appareil est éteint.
• Trouver le couvercle du compartiment des piles. Utiliser une pièce de monnaie pour dévisser la vis.
• Retirer le couvercle du compartiment des piles et les piles vides (le cas échéant).
• Installer 3 piles neuves « AAA » en respectant le schéma dans le compartiment des piles.
REMARQUE : il est recommandé d’utiliser des piles alcalines pour plus d’autonomie.
• Refermer le compartiment des piles et serrer la vis.
REMARQUE : quand le son devient imperceptible ou s’arrête, le temps est venu pour un adulte de changer les piles.
ATTENTION : toute réparation de cet appareil doit être uniquement effectuée par un technicien HoMedics autorisé.
Écouter les sons :
• Appuyer pendant 2 secondes sur le bouton d’alimentation pour mettre l’appareil en marche. Le témoin
lumineux rouge d’alimentation s’allumera alors.
• Choisir le son voulu et appuyer sur le bouton correspondant.
REMARQUE : quand l’appareil est mis en marche, le son par défaut est celui qui était sélectionné lors de
la dernière utilisation.
• Pour régler le volume, appuyer sur le bouton ou sur le bouton jusqu’à obtenir le niveau
sonore voulu.
• Appuyer pendant 2 secondes sur le bouton d’alimentation pour éteindre l’appareil.
Utilisation de la minuterie automatique :
Quand l’appareil est en marche et s’il joue un son, il est possible de régler la minuterie pour qu’il s’éteigne
automatiquement au bout de 15, 30 ou 45 minutes.
• Appuyer sur le bouton de la minuterie . Le témoin lumineux vert sous la durée de minuterie choisie s’allumera.
• Appuyer à nouveau sur le bouton de la minuterie
pour changer la durée sélectionnée. La minuterie est désactivée quand aucun témoin lumineux vert
n’est allumé.
Précautions relatives aux piles :
1. Remplacer toutes les piles en même temps. Ne pas mélanger des piles neuves et des piles usagées. Ne pas mélanger des piles alcalines et
des piles rechargeables.
2. Nettoyer les contacts des piles et ceux de l’appareil avec un chiffon sec avant d’installer les piles.
3. S’assurer que les piles sont installées en respectant la bonne polarité (+/-).
4. Retirer les piles de l’appareil quand celui-ci n’est pas utilisé pendant longtemps.
5. Garder les piles hors de portée des enfants.
6. Les piles sont de petits objets qui peuvent être ingérés. En cas d’ingestion, contacter immédiatement un médecin.
7. Retirer rapidement les piles vides de l’appareil. Jeter les piles de façon appropriée.
8. Ne pas ouvrir les piles ni les jeter au feu.

Cómo instalar las baterías:

Para escuchar los sonidos:
• Presione y mantenga presionado el botón de ENCENDIDO por 2 segundos para ENCENDER la unidad. El
indicador LED color rojo de encendido se iluminará.
• Seleccione el sonido que desee escuchar y oprima el botón correspondiente.
NOTA: Cuando la unidad esté encendida, por defecto reproducirá el último sonido que se haya usado.
• Para ajustar el volumen, oprima el botón
o el botón hasta el nivel deseado.
• Presione y mantenga presionado el botón de ENCENDIDO por 2 segundos para APAGAR la unidad.
Uso del temporizador automático:
Cuando la unidad esté encendida y usted escuche un sonido, podrá configurar un temporizador, de modo
que la unidad se apague automáticamente después de 15, 30 o 45 minutos.
• Oprima el botón del temporizador
. El indicador LED color verde del temporizador en la configuración
de tiempo especificada se iluminará.
• Mantenga oprimido el botón del temporizador
para pasar por las diferentes opciones del temporizador.
La característica de temporizador se ha apagado cuando ahora estén iluminados los LED color verde.
Precauciones con las baterías:
1. Reemplace todas las baterías al mismo tiempo. No mezcle baterías viejas y nuevas. No mezcle baterías alcalinas con recargables.
2. Limpie los contactos de las baterías y los contactos del dispositivo con un paño seco antes de instalar las baterías.
