Chapter 2 Wake Up the Device

You should wake up the device from the standby mode to enter the main page.

When you enable lock screen, you should draw the

paern/ enter pin to unlock the device.

Steps

Touch the screen to wake up the deivce.

Tap Admin Password. Then you can also choose to use admin password to unlock the device.

Wake up the device. Refers to Wake Up the Device for details.

Main Page Introducon

On the home page of the device, you can slide down from the upper-le corner to view

nocaon, or slide down from the upper-right corner to view Wi-Fi, Bluetooth Status, turn on/o

Do Not Disturb and Sildent Mode or adjust screen brightness, ringtone volume and call volume.

Main Page

You can tap corresponding models on the main page to perform acons such as call resident/

room, view messages, live view remotely, download apps, arm or disarm the device etc..

Stay Mode

Tap to

to add acons you want the device to perform when you tap Stay Mode.

Note

There are three types of acons you can add inlcuding Acon, Delay and Scene.

For more details about these three types of acons, you can refer to the examples on your

actal devives.

Away Mode

Tap to add acons you want the device to perform when you tap Away Mode.

Tap to add manual scene shortcuts.

Note

It's recommended to add manual scene rst before you perform this acon. So you can

directly select already added scenes cards from the list.

Overview

Tap to enter the overview page.

Here you can view how many rooms, devices and scenes have been added to this device.

Note

You can also tap the message icon at the upper-right corner to view alarm event record and

unlock record.

Tap + icon to add room/device/scene.

Call Page

Tap to enter the call page.

Here you can view live view, call rooms/center, and select rooms to speak to.

Note

Tap at the upper-right corner to enter the page of capture log.

Tap at the upper-right corner to enter the page of video intercom sengs.

Applicaon Center

Tap to enter applicaon center.

Then you can tap + to install new applicaon.

You many need a TF card to complete this step.

The TF card slot is at the le boom of the device.

Lock the Screen

Tap to lock the screen.

Shortcut Control Center

Slide dwon from the upper-right corner of the screen, you can set the device easily.

Do Not Disturb

Tap to enable or disable the Do Not Disturb funcon.

Wi-Fi

Tap to enable or disable the Wi-Fi funcon, and you can connect to wireless network.

Silent Mode

Tap to enable/disable silent mode.

Note

When enabled silent mode, you won't be able to adjust ring volume.

If you slide to adjust ring volume, silent mode will be automacally o.

Bluetooth

Tap to enable/disable bluetooth.

Adjust Brightness

Slide to adjust the brightness of the screen.

Adjust Device Volume

Slide to adjust the volume of the device.

Adjust Ring Volume

Slide to adjust the volume of the ring.

Note

When enabled silent mode, you won't be able to adjust ring volume.

If you slide to adjust ring volume, silent mode will be automacally o.

Chapter 4 Operaon via PC Web

4.1 Login

You can login via the web browser or the remote conguraon of the client soware.

Note

Make sure the device is acvated.

Enter the device IP address in the address bar of the web browser and press Enter to enter the

4.2 Forget Password

If you forget the password when logging in, you can change the password by email address or

Answer the security quesons.

E-mail Vericaon

1. Export the QR code and send it to pw_rec[email protected] as aachment.

2. You will receive a vericaon code within 5 minutes in your reserved email.

3. Enter the vericaon code into the vericaon code eld to verify your idencaon.

Click Next, create a new password and conrm it.

4.3 Overview

You can view linked device, network status and basic

informaon. You can also click on related

parameters to

congure.

You can check if the device is working properly. You can also see indoor staon, online and

Click View More to view the detailed component status. It will lead you to Device Management

page.

Network Status

You can view the network

Click on Wired Network, Hik-Connect or VoIP to congure.

Basic Informaon

You can view the model, serial No. and rmware version.

Click on related parameters to check detailed informaon.

4.4 Download Web Plug-In

Both non-Plug-in live view and live view aer downing plug-in are available. For beer live view,

downloading plug-in for live view is recommended.

→ Download Web Pug-In to download the pulg-in to the local.

4.5 Help

You can view open source soware licenses.

4.5.2 View Online Help Document

You can view the help document for Web conguraon.

Click → Online Document on the upper right of the Web page to view the document.

4.6 Modify Password

Steps

Click admin → Modify Password .

Enter the admin password and new password, and then conrm your new password.

Click Save to complete the

sengs. Click Cancel to discard the sengs.

4.7 Logout

Log out the account.

Click admin → Logout → OK to logout.

4.8 Quick

Operaon via Web Browser

4.8.1 Select Language

You can select a language for the device system.

Click

in the top right of the web page to enter the Device Language Sengs page. You can

select a language for the device system from the drop-down list.

By default, the system language is English.

Note

Aer you change the system language, the device will reboot automacally.

4.8.2 Time Sengs

Click in the top right of the web page to enter the wizard page. Aer seng device language,

you can click Next to enter the Time

Sengs page.

Time Zone

Select the device located me zone from the drop-down list.

Time Sync.

NTP

You should set the NTP server's IP address, port No., and interval.

You can set the server address, NTP port, and interval.

You can view the DST start me, end me and bias me.

Click Next to save the sengs and go to the next parameter. Or click Skip to skip me sengs.

4.9 Device Management

Device management includes adding device, eding device, and deleng device, and so on.

Click Device Management → Device Management → Device Management to enter this page.

4.12.3 Set Ringtone

You can add ringtone on ringtone sengs interface.

Click Video Intercom → Call

Sengs → Ringtone Sengs .

Click +Add to import ringtone les.

Swipe to enable the selected ringtone.

Note

There are 3 ringtones by default.

Supported le type: wav. The le size cannot exceed 300 KB.

4.12.4 Call Sengs

Set the max. ring duraon, live view me and call forwarding me.

Go to Video Intercom → Call Sengs → Call Sengs .

The password strength of the device can be automacally checked. We highly recommend you

change the password of your own choosing (using a minimum of 8 characters, including at least

three kinds of following categories: upper case leers, lower case leers, numbers, and special

characters) in order to increase the security of your product. And we recommend you change

your password regularly, especially in the high security system, changing the password monthly

or weekly can

beer protect your product.

Proper conguraon of all passwords and other security sengs is the responsibility of the

service provider and/or end-user.

4.13.4 View Device Arming/Disarming Informaon via PC Web

View device arming type and arming IP address.

Go to System and Maintenance → System Conguraon → System → User Management →

IPv6

If you check the funcon, the system will support IPv6.

Users with IPv6 support can directly access services via IPv6, avoiding delays caused by IPv4

congeson or cross-ISP transions.

DNS Server

Set the preferred DNS server and the Alternate DNS server according to your actual need.

to realize communicaon.

Number / Display User Name

The device displayed call number and user name.

Click Save.

4.13.6 Set Video and Audio Parameters via PC Web

You can set device volume.

Go to System and Maintenance → System

Online Upgrading via PC Web

You can upgrade the device online.

Click System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Upgarde to enter the

ClickCheck for Updatesto check whether there is updated versions.

If the device is connected to the network and added to Hik-Connect App, you can tap Device

Upgrade → Online Upgrade on device for upgrading when there is an updated version in Hik-

Connect App.

4.14.3 Restoraon

Restore to Factory Sengs via Web Browser

You can restore device to factory sengs.

Click System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Backup and Reset to enter the sengs page.

Click Restore All, all parameters will be restored to the factory sengs. You should acvate the

device before usage.

Restore to Default

Sengs via PC Web

You can restore device to default sengs.

Click System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Backup and Reset to enter the sengs page.

Click Restore, the device will restore to the default sengs, except for the device IP address and

the user informaon.

4.14.4 Export Device Parameters via PC Web

Export device parameters.

Go to System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Backup and Reset .

Ping Network

You can check the plaorm network is normal or not via ping test.

Click System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Device Debugging → Log for Debugging to

enter the

sengs page.

Enter target host address (IP address).

Click Ping Network.

Set ADB Remote Control

You can set ADB remote control.

Steps

Go to System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Device Debugging .

Enable ADB Remote Control.

Note

ADB remote control can be enabled aer developer mode is enabled.

Print Device Log via PC Web

You can print out the device log.

Click System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Device Debugging → Log for Debugging to

enter the

sengs page.

ClickExport to print out the device log.

Capture Network Packet via PC Web

Set the capture packet duraon and size and start caputre. You can view the log and debug

according to the capture result.

Go to System and Maintenance → Maintenance → Device Debugging → Log for Debugging .

Set Capture Packet Duraon,Capture Packet Size, and click Start Capture.

4.14.7 Log Query

You can search and view the device logs.

Go to Maintenance and Security → Maintenance → Security Audit Log .

Set the major and minor type of the log type. Set the start me and end me for searching, and

click Search.

The results will be displayed below, which including the No.,

me, the major type the minor type,

the channel No., the local/remote user

informaon, the remote host IP, etc.

4.14.8 Security Management

Set security level when login the PC web.

Go to System and Maintenance → Safe → Security Service .

In the Cercate Files area, select a Cercate Type from the drop-down list.

Click Create.

The created cercate is displayed in the Cercate Details area.

Time and Date

You can set the displayed me and date format, current me. You can also tap Sync Time and

enable NTP to synchronize the device

Tap Language to change the system language.

5.3 Set Wi-Fi

Set Wi-Fi connecon.

The Wi-Fi IP can be changed.

Change Voice

You can enable Change Voice in preference.

Then you can choose to use your original voice, or change your voice to clown sound or uncle

sound.

Once enabled, you can see it on all video intercom pages.

Call Forwarding Sengs

Enable the funcon and if the call rings for the congured me, it will forward to the congured

rst, second, and third devices by sequence.

You can

congure Call Forwarding Time. Once exceed the congured me, the call will be

transferred to the congured devices.

Auto Unlock Door When Call

You can enable Auto Unlock.

Then you can choose which lock to operate auto unlock and

congure the auto unlock door

period.

Tap OK to save your conguraons.

Note

Once enabled, the indoor staon will unlock automacally when receiving call from the main

staon.

Do Not Disturb Sengs

You can slide to enable Do Not Disturb Sengs. Then you can choose Do Not Disturb Device.

You can also slide to enable Do Not Disturb All Day.

Note

If enabled, you won't receive any nocaons or calls all day.

Message

Slide to enable Message.

Then you can set the Message Retenon Time.

Note

You can slide to enable Auto Answer based on your need. When another terminal calls this

device and the calling device is set to auto answer, you can set the auto answer me. Aer the

set me ends, this device will automacally answer.

Records will be

automacally deleted once exceeded the retenon me.

Auto Capture

Slide to enable Auto Capture. Then you can set the Captured Picture Retenon Time.

Note

You can set the retenon me as 1 day, 7 days or 30 days.

If enabled, the device will automacally capture a picture once receive a call.

Records will be automacally deleted once exceeded the retenon me.

Live View Sengs

Tap Video Intercom → Live View Sengs to enter the page.

Tap Live View

Duraon to edit me then tap OK to save your sengs.

Note

You can enter a number between 10 to 1800.

Blocklist

Tap Video Intercom → Contact in the Blocklist to enter the page.

You can silde to enable Blocklist.

Once enabled, the contacts in the blocklist won't be able to call the device.

If you want to add blocked contact, you can tap + at the upper-right corner. Then you can

choose from Add From Contact or Add New Blocked Contact.

Note

If you choose Add New Blocked Contact, then you will need to enter the name and call No. of

the new blocked contact manually.

You can also choose tap Add as VoIP Contact based on your actual needs.

5.7 Custom the Lockscreen Background

You can customize the lockscreen background of the device.

Steps

Tap Sengs → Custom to enter this page.

Select the picture you want to set as the lock screen background.

Tap √ to switch the lock screen background.

5.8 Synchronize Time

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to Wake Up the Device for details.

Steps

On the main page of the device, tap Sengs → General Sengs → Time and Date to enter the

me sengs page.

Synchronize the system

me.

Congure the Time Zone, Time Format, Set Date and Time manually.

Tap Sync Time to enable NTP.

Set the synchronizing interval, enter the IP Address/Domain Name of NTP server and port No.,

and select the

me zone.

Note

The default unit of synchronizing interval is minute.

5.9 App Sengs

The device support adding to Hik-Connect and conguraon remotely via the client.

5.9.1 Link to the Mobile Client

Plaorm access provides you an opon to manage the devices via plaorm.

Steps

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Plaorm Access to enter the sengs page.

Slide to enable Cloud Service.

Enter the vericaon code.

Oponal: Scan QR code on the screen to add the device to the mobile client.

Click Save to enable the sengs.

5.9.2 Unlink the Account

Remove the account from the mobile client.

5.10 Sound Sengs

Set the ringtone sound, the volume, and the auto answer.

5.10.1 Call Sengs

You can set the ringtone, ring duraon, call forwarding me etc..

sengs page. You can also tap Video Intercom at the main page, then tap Call Sengs to enter

There are 3 ringtones by default, and you can custom and import at most 4 ringtones via

Batch Conguraon Tool or iVMS-4200 Client Soware.

Ringtone Duraon: The maximum duraon of indoor staon when it is called without being

accepted. Ringtone

duraon ranges from 30 s to 60 s.

Intercom Volume

Drag the bar to adjust intercom vlolume.

Voice Changer

You can change your voice when speaking. Original Voice is your own voice, Uncle Voice and

Clown Voice are two voice changers you can choose from.

Call Forwarding Sengs

The ring duraon limit beyond which the call is automacally forwarded to the mobile phone

designated by the resident. Call forwarding ranges from 0 s to 20 s.

Auto Unlock

You can choose which lock to operate auto unlock and

congure the auto unlock door period.

Tap OK to save your conguraons.

Note

Once enabled, the indoor staon will unlock automacally when receiving call from the main

staon.

Other Sengs

You can set the Do Not Disturb and Auto-answer funcons.

Message

Slide to enable Message. Then you can set the Message Retenon Time.

Messages stored in this device will be automacally deleted once exceed the set me.

Auto Answer

Enable Auto Answer. Aer enabling, the call from door staon/villa door staon will be

answered by the indoor

staon automacally. The caller from door staon/villa door

staon can leave voice messages. Aer the message is le, you can check it from Message

on the main page of the device.

Note

Before enabling Auto Answer, the funcon of Message needs to be enabled.

Do Not Disturb Device

Select All and all devices will not disturb this device. Select Indoor Staon and all indoor

staon will not disturb this device.

Note

This funcon can only help to block indoor staons in other rooms. Within the same room,

the indoor staon and extension can't be blocked.

Do Not Disturb All Day

Slide to enable and this device will not be disturbed all day.

Auto Capture

Slide to enable this

funcon. Then the device will automacally capture a picture when

receive a call.

You can also set Captured Picture Retenon Time.

Captured pictures stored in this device will be automacally deleted once exceed the set

me.

Note

Indoor Extension does not support the ring duraon sengs, or call forwarding sengs.

5.10.2 Volume Sengs

Set the microphone volume, prompt sound volume, call volume, and enable touch sound.

Steps

Tap Sengs → Sound to enter the volume sengs page.

Drag the bar to adjust Media Volume, Call & Nocaon Volume.

You can also slide to enable Touchscreen Volume.

Note

You can hear the key sound once enabled.

To carry out Sound Test. Tap Sound Test and select the device (microphone or speaker) you want

to test.

Tap OK. Then you can see a prompt. Follow the

instrucon on the screen. Say a sentence to

check if there is any sound output.

5.11 Set Bluetooth

Tap

Sengs → Bluetooth to enter the page.

Slide to enable Bluetooth.

Note

When bluetooth is enabled in the sengs, the device can be found as 9 serires scenario control

panel.

Select a bluetooth from the list to pair.

You can connect your device with other smart home devices.

5.12 Advanced Sengs

5.12.1 Set Linked Device IP

Linked network parameters refers to the network parameters of devices (like door staon,

doorphone, main staon, center, etc.), to which the indoor staon is linked. Linked devices for the

indoor staon refers to door staon, center, main staon, and doorphone.

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to

Wake Up the Device for details.

Steps

Note

Here take door staon network sengs as example.

On the main page of the device, tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Device Conguraon to

enter the device management page.

Note

Admin password is required to enter the advanced sengs page.

Select the device as Indoor Staon or Indoor Extension.

Tap Main Door Staon to pop up the device informaon dialog.

Restore the door

staon via indoor

staon.

Tap to restore the parameters of the door

staon.

Modify the IP address of the linked

door staon.

Tap to modify the IP address of door staon.

Select the device to link. Edit the network parameters.

You can tap Main Doorphone, Center, Indoor Extension or Private SIP Server IP to congure

related informaon.

You can also tap Door Lock Display Sengs to congure which lock to be displayed at the main

page.

5.12.2 Door Lock Display

You can congure the number of locks displayed.

On the main page of the device, tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Device Conguraon to

enter the device management page.

Swipe down to the

boom of the page, then you can see Door Lock Display Sengs.

Swch to choose whether to display locks on the call page or preview page and how many locks

to be displayed.

You can choose to display one of the locks, two locks or none on the page.

●

For dierent scenarios, you can congure dierent sengs for your main door staon and sub

door staonor.

For example, if a door staon is installed in a security room or outer door, it only allows

opening one lock. If installed at a resident's entrance or inner door, it can have access to open

two locks. There are also cases in which the door staon does not connect to any locks, and

the opon to display lock at the call page is not required.

5.12.3 SIP Sengs

Devices can communicate with each other via SIP protocol. You create set the SIP register

password, and set VIOP account.

Steps

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs , and enter admin (acvaon) password.

Tap Video Intercom → VoIP

Sengs .

Slide to enable VOIP.

Set SIP

registraon password.

1) Tap Registraon Password.

2) Create a new SIP register

registraon password and conrm the password.

3) Tap OK.

Oponal: Congure the account informaon, including the user name, the phone number, the

registered user name, the password, the domain, the port No., and the expiraon date.

Note

Up to 32 characters are allowed in the user name.

5.12.4 Set Indoor Staon Network Parameters

Network connecon is mandatory for the use of the indoor staon. Set the network parameters

aer acvang the indoor staon. Only when the IP address of the indoor staon is in the same

network segment as other devices, it can work properly in the same system.

Note

The default IP address of the indoor staon is 192.0.0.64.

Two ways are available for you to set IP address: DHCP, and set IP address manually.

On the main page of the device, tap

Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Ethernet Sengs to enter

the network sengs page.

Note

Admin password is required to enter the advanced sengs page.

Enable DHCP, then the indoor staon can search and get an IP address automacally.

Note

Skip the following steps if you have enabled DHCP.

Set the Local IP, Subnet Mask and Gateway manually.

Congure the DNS address according to your needs.

5.12.5 Set Indoor

Staon No.

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to

Wake Up the Device for details.

Indoor staon No. and the indoor extension No. are numbers, which can be dialed by other devices

to call the indoor

staon and the indoor extension in an intercom system. The indoor staon No., is

composed of the oor No. and the room No.

The indoor extension No. should be a numeric from 1 to 15.

Up to 15 indoor extensions can be set for 1 indoor

staon.

Steps

On the home page of device, tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Video Intercom → Device

Conguraon to enter the indoor staon No. sengs page.

Note

Admin password is required to enter the advanced sengs page.

Congure the indoor staon and indoor extension informaon.

Select Indoor Staon as Indoor Staon Type. Tap Room Informaon to edit the Room Name,

Community No., Building No., Unit No., Floor No. and Room No.

Select Indoor Extension as Indoor Staon Type. Tap Room Informaon to edit the Room

Name and Extension No.

5.12.6 Add Camera

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to

Wake Up the Device for details.

Steps

On the main page of the device, tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Intellegient → Device

Management to enter the device management page.

Note

Admin password is required to enter the advanced sengs page.

Tap Network Camera to enter the Add Camera sengs page.

Tap + and select Camera to pop up the dialog box.

Tap Camera and tap + to enter the

sengs page.

Enter the device name and IP address.

Enter the port No. and channel No.

Enter the user name and password of the camera.

Tap √ to add the camera.

For Alarm Control Panel and other Smart Home devices, the adding method is similar. Just tap

the corresponding device type then tap + at the upper right corner. Enter

informaon such as

Device Name, IP Address, Hik-Connect User Name and Password.

5.12.7 Password

Sengs

Security Sengs

If you forgot the admin password, you can change your password via the reserved email address or

the security quesons.

Steps

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs , and enter the admin (acvaon) password. Then Tap

Password to enter the

seng page.

Tap Password Recovery Method. You can choose Reset Password via Email or Security

Tap Security

Queson. Select quesons and enter the answers.

Aer the sengs, you can reset your password via the reserved email address or via answering

quesons.

Lock Screen

You can set a password to lock the screen for safety access. Next me you start up or wake up the

device, you need to enter the password to unlock the screen.

Steps

Tap

Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Password to enter the seng page.

Select Unlock Method as Paern Lock or PIN.

1) If select Paern Lock, you need to draw a paern as your unlock-screen password. You need

to connect at least 4 dots to complete drawing a

paern lock.

2) If select PIN, you need to enter a PIN as your unlock-screen password.

Note

If you want to change the password, tap , and enter the old password rst, and enter a new

password.

If you don't want to set a lock screen password, slide to disable Lock Screen. Then you an tap to

wake up the screen.

Edit

Operaon Password

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to Wake Up the Device for details.

You can edit the duress code, unlock password and arm/disarm password of the indoor

staon.

You can edit the arm/disarm password of the indoor extension.

Steps

On the main page of the device, tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Intelligent Control →

Access Password to enter the

sengs page.

Tap Unlock Password, Arm/Disarm Password, or Duress Code to pop up the password sengs

Unlock Password

Enter the unlock password and room No. on the door

staon to open the door.

Arm/Disarm Password

Create an arm/disarm password before conguring alarm parameters.

Arm or disarm the zone for the indoor staon by entering the arm/disarm password.

Note

Arm/Disarm sengs page is hidden by default. Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs to enable

Zone Alarm funcons, and you can edit the alarm parameters.

Duress Code

When you are hijacked and forced to open the door, you can enter the duress code. An alarm

will be triggered to nofy the management center secretly.

Note

The duress code and the unlock password cannot be the same.

Create a new password and conrm it.

Tap OK to save the sengs.

Note

Indoor Extension only supports admin password and arm/disarm password.

5.12.8 System Sengs

Brightness Adjustment

Tap Sengs → Display and Brightness to enter the seng page.

You can adjust the brightness manually by drag the dot on the bar or you can slide to enable

Automac, then the device will change the screen brightness automcally.

You can also enable One Touch Screen O.

If enabled, you can see at the main page.

Tap this icon to turn o the screen.

What's more, you can set the Auto Screen Lock me. If without any operaon, the screen will be

automacally locked once exceed the set me.

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Maint. → About .

At this page, you can see detailed informaon including name, app version, system version, device

model, serial number etc..

Swipe down to the

boom of this page. Then you can choose Auto-Reboot or Reboot manually.

Restore the Device

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Maint. .

At this page, you can choose from Restore to Factory Sengs or Restore Default Parameters.

Note

The device will reboot automacally aer restoraon.

Upgrade the Device

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Maint. .

At this page, you can select from Online Upgrade or Local Upgrade.

Note

You need to enable cloud service if you want to use online upgrade.

You need to insert the TF card if you want to use local upgrade.

Apps

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Apps to enter the sengs page.

You can slide to enable Launch applicaon when approaching. Aer enabled, the selected

applicaon will be launched automatcially when approaching.

TF Card

Installaon

Tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Apps to enter the sengs page.

Tap TF Card Installaon. Then you can follow the instrucon to check if the TF card/ USB is

inserted.

5.13 Arming Mode

Sengs

3 arming modes can be congured: stay mode, away mode, sleeping mode.

Arm the selected zone.

Zones are congurable on the arming mode page.

24H alarm zone including smoke detector zone, gas detector zone and doorbell zone will be

triggered even if they are disabled.

●

When the doorbell zone is triggered, the device will ring but not upload the alarm signal.

●

Arming mode sengs should be congured with the sengs of arming status on the user

page of the device.

5.14 Smart Home

5.14.1 Smart Home-Device

You can view all devices and their status.

At the main page, tap → Device to enter the page.

Choose a scene in your list to perform.

For example, perform stay at home scene.

3) If your device control more than one system, you can tap More

Sengs and select a system

6.1 Call Sengs

6.1.1 SIP Sengs

Devices can communicate with each other via SIP protocol. You create set the SIP register

Enter the calling number to call.

If you want to call room, the calling number format should be x-x-x-xxx. For example, the

calling number of Community 1, Building 2, Unit 3, and Room 405 is 1-2-3-405. Tap the call

buon to start an audiovisual call.

Note

The community No. can be omied.

If you want to call VoIP contact, the calling number should be the phone number of VoIP

account.

If you want to call center, tap

6.1.4 Call Indoor Extension/Indoor

Staon

If you install indoor staon and indoor extensions at home, you can call the indoor extension via

your indoor

staon, and vice versa. If you have installed more than 2 indoor extensions, you can

also call the indoor extension from the indoor extension.

Staon

Enter 【0-indoor extension No.】 on the indoor staon to start calling the target indoor extension.

Enter 【0-0】 on the indoor extension to call the indoor staon from the indoor extension.

6.1.5 Receive Call

The indoor staon and indoor extension can receive calls from the door staon, the main staon or

iVMS-4200 Client.

On the call from door

staon interface, there are 2 unlock buons: Unlock 1, and Unlock 2. When

you tap Unlock 1, the building gate will open by default, and when you tap Unlock 2, the door

connected to the door

staon with the secure control door unit will open.

Tap the capture buon to capture the live view picture when speaking with the door staon. And

prompts "Captured" will display on the screen.

Indoor extension can receive calls from the door

staon and the main staon only.

6.1.6 View Call Logs

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to Wake Up the Device for details.

Steps

On the main page of the device, tap Call Module or icon to enter the call page.

On the main page of the device, tap Live View module to enter the live view page. You can also

tap / Call Module → Live View to enter this page.

Tap Main Door Staon to enter the live view page of door staon.

On the Call from Door Staon page, there are 2 unlock buons: Unlock 1, and Unlock 2. When

you tap Unlock 1, the building gate will open by default. When you tap Unlock 2, the door

staon connected door will open.

On the Call from Door

Staon page, there are 1 capture buon. You can tap the buon to

capture the picture via door

staon.

Tap Camera to enter the live view page of network cameras.

6.3 Arm/Disarm

The indoor staon has four kinds of scene modes: sleeping mode, stay mode, away mode, and

custom mode. You can arm or disarm your room in each scene mode manually. The selected scene

mode will be displayed on the main page of the indoor staon.

Note

You should create an Arm/Disarm Password rst.

6.3.1 Arm Room

Select the arm mode to arm your room.

Before You Start

Wake up the device. Refers to Wake Up the Device for details.

On the main page of the device, tap Sengs → Advanced Sengs → Intelligent Control →

Device Management to add the Alarm Control Panel.

You should create an arm/disarm password. Please refers to

On the main page of the device, tap Stay to enter the scene page.

Select Stay, Away, Sleeping or Custom.

Enter the arm/disarm password to enable the scene.

6.5 Message Management

You can view visitor message, alarm event and capture log on message page.

Indoor extension only supports alarm event and capture log.

Message to enter the message details page. You can view the message locally or that from mobile

client.

6.6 Mode Introducon

There are 3 modes by default.

At the main page, you can see the icon of the three modes: Stay mode, away mode and sleeping

mode.

You can tap corresponding icons to set the device as certain mode.

If you want to see details

informaon or if you want to edit any of the modes, you can simply tap

the mode to enter the informaon page.

Note

You need to add acon(s) rst if you want to carry out any of the three modes.

6.7 Add shortcuts

You can add shortcut card to the desktop on your actual needs

Chapter 7 Client Soware Conguraon

7.1 Device Management

Device management includes adding device, eding device, and deleng device, and so on.

Click Device Management → Device Management → Device Management to enter this page.

Click +Add to add device.

You need to enter basic informaon including device password, registraon password and serial

No., network parameters including IP address, IPv4 subnet mask, IPv4 default gateway and port,

and extension No.

●

You can also click Import or Export to import/export the devices in batch.

Note

You can import the devices in batch via the excel. You can also download the template on the

website.

●

Click to edit device.

You can edit basic informaon including device password, registraon password and serial No.,

network parameters including IP address, IPv4 subnet mask, IPv4 default gateway and port, and

extension No.

Click Save to save the changes.

7.1.1 Add Video Intercom Devices

You can add at most 512 indoor staons and main staons in total to the client, and add at most

16 door staons to the client.

●

For video intercom devices, you are required to create the password to acvate them before

they can be added to the

soware and work properly.

●

You can add online video intercom devices, and add them manually. Here take adding online

video intercom devices as example.

Click Maintenance and Management → Device Management to enter the device management

page.

Click the Device tap.

Click Add to add the device to the client.

Oponal: Click Online Device, the acve online devices in the same local subnet with the client

soware will be displayed on the Online Device area.

To add online devices to the soware, you are required to change the device IP address to the

same subnet with your computer rst.

1) You can click Refresh Every 60s to refresh the informaon of the online devices.

2) Select the devices to be added from the list.

3) Click Add to Client to add the device to the client.

Input the required

informaon.

Nickname

Edit a name for the device as you want.

Address

Input the device's IP address. The IP address of the device is obtained automacally in this

adding mode.

Port

Input the device port No. The default value is 8000.

User Name

Input the device user name. By default, the user name is admin.

Password

Input the device password.

Oponal: You can check the checkbox Export to Group to create a group by the device name. All

the channels of the device will be imported to the corresponding group by default.

The client also provides a method to add the

oine devices. Check the checkbox Add Oine

Device, input the required informaon and the device channel number and alarm input number,

and then click Add. When the oine device comes online, the soware will connect it

automacally.

Note

●

Add Mulple Online Devices: If you want to add mulple online devices to the client soware,

click and hold Ctrl key to select mulple devices, and click Add to Client to open the device

adding dialog box. In the pop-up message box, enter the user name and password for the

devices to be added.

●

Add All the Online Devices: If you want to add all the online devices to the client soware,

click Add All and click OK in the pop-up message box. Then enter the user name and password

for the devices to be added.

7.1.2 Modify Network Informaon

Select the device from the device list, click , and then you can modify the network informaon

of the selected device.

You should enter the admin password of the device in the Password eld of the pop-up window to

modify the parameters.

7.2 System Conguraon

You can congure the video intercom parameters accordingly.

Steps

Click Maintenance and Management → System Conguraon → Acs and videoIntercom to

enter the system

conguraon page.

Enter the required informaon.

Ringtone

Click ... and select the audio le from the local path for the ringtone of indoor staon.

Oponally, you can click for a tesng of the audio le.

Max. Ring Duraon

Input the maximum duraon of the ringtone, ranging from 15 seconds to 60 seconds.

Max. Speaking

Duraon with Indoor Staon

Input the maximum duraon of speaking with the indoor staon, ranging from 120 seconds

to 600 seconds.

Max. Speaking Duraon with Door Staon

Input the maximum duraon of speaking with the door staon, ranging from 90 seconds to

120 seconds.

Click Save to save the

sengs.

7.3 Remote

Conguraon

In the device list area, select a device and click to enter the remote conguraon page.

7.3.1 System

Click System on the remote conguraon page to display the device informaon: Device

Informaon, General, Time, System Maintenance, User, and RS-485.

Device

Informaon

Click Device Informaon to enter device basic informaon page. You can view basic informaon

(the device type, and serial No.), and version informaon of the device.

Click Restore All to restore all parameters of device and reset the device to

Click Restore Default Sengs, all default sengs, excluding network parameters, will be

restored.

Click Restore All, all default sengs, including network parameters, will be restored. The

device will be reset to

inacvated status.

Click Import Conguraon File and the import le window pops up. Select the path of remote

conguraon les. Click Open to import the remote conguraon le. The conguraon le is

imported and the device will reboot automacally.

Click Export Conguraon File and the export le window pops up. Select the saving path of

remote

conguraon les and click Save to export the conguraon le.

●

Click ... to select the upgrade le and click Upgrade to remote upgrade the device. The process

of remote upgrade will be displayed in the process bar.

●

Select a language, and click Save to change the device system language.

The device supports 11 languages: English, Russian, German, Italian, French, Portuguese,

Spanish, Turkish, Arabic, Polish, and Vietnamese.

Reboong the device is required aer you change the system language.

Select the user to edit and click Modify to enter the user parameter page.

Click RS485 to enter the RS-485 sengs page. You can view and edit the RS-485 parameters of the

device.

channel, disable, and custom.

7.3.2 Video Intercom

Click Video Intercom on the remote conguraon page to enter the video intercom parameters

sengs: Device Number Conguraon, Time Parameters, Password, Zone Conguraon, IP Camera

Informaon, and Volume Input and Output Conguraon, and so on.

Congure the maximum ring duraon, maximum live view me, and call forwarding me.

Maximum ring duraon is the maximum duraon of indoor staon when it is called without

being received. The range of maximum ring duraon varies from 30s to 60s.

●

Maximum live view me is the maximum me of playing live view of the indoor staon. The

range of maximum live view

me varies from 10s to 60s.

●

Call forwarding

me refers to the ring duraon limit beyond which the call is automacally

forwarded to the mobile phone designated by the resident. The range of call forwarding me

varies from 0s to 20s.

●

For indoor extension, it only requires

seng the maximum live view me.

Volume Input and Output

Steps

Click Volume Input/Output to enter the volume input and output page.

In the Main View module, double-click a door

staon or outer door staon device or drag the

device to a display window to start the live view.

You can click Unlock on the menu to open the door remotely.

7.7 View Call Logs

You can check all the call logs, including dialed call logs, received call logs and missed call logs. You

can also directly dial via the log list and clear the logs.

Steps

On the main page, click Access Control → Video Intercom to enter the Video Intercom page.

Click the Call Log tab to enter the Call Log page. All the call logs will display on this page and you

can check the log

informaon, e.g., call status, start me, resident's organizaon and name,

device name and ring or speaking duraon.

Oponal: Click the icon in the Operaon column to re-dial the resident.

7.8 Release

Noce

You can create dierent types of noces and send them to the residents. Four noce types are

available, including

Adversing, Property, Alarm and Noce Informaon.

Steps

On the main page, click Access Control → Video Intercom to enter the Video Intercom page.

Up to 6 pictures in the JPGE format can be added to one noce. And the maximum size of one

picture is 512KB.

7) Enter the noce content in the Informaon eld.

8) Oponal: You can also click Clear to clear the edited content.

Note

Up to 1023 characters are allowed in the Content eld.

Click Send to send the edited noce to the selected resident(s). The sent noce informaon will

display on the le panel. You can click a noce to view the details on the right panel.

7.9 Search Video Intercom

Informaon

You can search the call logs between the iVMS-4200 client soware and video intercom devices,

device unlocking logs and the sent noce informaon.

On the main page, click Access Control to enter the access control module.

In the Access Control module, click Video Intercom to enter the Video Intercom page.

7.9.1 Search Call Logs

Steps

On the main page, click Access Control → Video Intercom to enter the Video Intercom page.

Click Call Log to enter the Call Log page.
