PREPARING THE COFFEE MACHINE BEFORE USE
Filling the water tank
1. Carefully open the lid of the tank. The lid serves as ahandle.
2. Pull up the lid to remove the water tank from the back of the appliance.
3. Remove the protective cap from the outlet of the water tank. It serves
as protection during transport and must be removed before using the
coffee machine.
4. Fill the water tank with clean water up to the maximum mark and
insert it back into the appliance. Make sure that the water tank is
properly installed in its place.
Note:
The water you pour into the water tank should ideally be
at room temperature (approximately 25 °C). Too cold water
can negatively affect the final taste of the coffee beverage.
Caution:
The maximum capacity of the water tank is 1.5 l.
Do not overfill it.
Never fill the water tank with warm or hot water,
sparkling water or other liquids such as milk. This
could damage the appliance.
Never fill the water tank by pouring water into in while
it is inserted inside the appliance. You risk splashing
the appliance overfilling the water tank.
Note:
Do not leave water in the water tank for more than one day.
For preparing quality fresh coffee, it is necessary to always
use fresh water. Using water that is not fresh will affect the
taste of the final beverage.
Filling the coffee bean hopper
1. Remove the coffee bean hopper lid.
2. Pour roasted coffee beans into the hopper and close the lid. Do not
leave the lid of the bean hopper open, otherwise the coffee beans will
lose their aroma more quickly.
Caution:
Themaximum capacity of the hopper is 200 g of
coffee beans. Do not overfill it.
Never fill the hopper with ground or instant coffee,
caramelised or otherwise specially treated coffee
beans, cocoa beans or other items that may damage
the appliance.
Adjusting the grind fineness
Use the grinding coarseness regulator to adjust the appropriate
coarseness of the ground coffee. Grinding coarseness adjustment is
possible only when the grinder is in operation. The new coarseness
setting will take effect after the second or third coffee preparation following
the grinding coarseness change.
1. You can adjust the coarseness of the grinding in 15 levels by using
the grinding coarseness regulator, which is located inside the bean
hopper. For first use, we recommend setting the grinding coarseness
to 8 and then adjusting as needed.

2. Turn the regulator clockwise to set acoarser grind, turn
counterclockwise to set afiner grind. Always adjust by one level.
Try it out by preparing afew cups of coffee and then readjust as
needed.
3. Only adjust the grinding coarseness when the grinder is running.
Otherwise, damage to the appliance may occur.
4. If the brewed coffee flows out very slowly, it means that the beans
are ground too finely and acoarser grind should be set. If the brewed
coffee flows out too quickly, it means that the grains are ground too
coarsely and afiner grind should be set.
Milk container
If you are planning to make latte, cappuccino, or need to froth milk,
assemble the milk container as follows:
1. Pour fresh, cold milk into the container. Always fill below the
maximum level. The maximum capacity of the milk container is
750ml.
2. Insert the milk tube into the hole on the inner side of the lid (Figure D1).
3. Place the milk container on astable and flat surface at asufficient

and insert the other end of the connecting tube into the hole (Figure
D3).
Adjusting the Head Height
The head can be moved up/down according to the height of the cup
in which you will be preparing the coffee. First, slide the head up to
the maximum height, insert the cup, and then adjust the height of the

warning indicator light blinks when you press the beverage
preparation button, the service door is not closed properly.
Coffee Grounds Container and Inner Tray
Gently press on the bottom part of the service door where the
indentation with PUSH sign is located. The service door will swing
open. Remove it and check if the coffee grounds container and the
inner tray are properly installed in their place.

machine and gently push the tray into the machine.
The tray must be firmly secured to prevent the cup with hot beverage
from tipping over during preparation.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Before cleaning, turn off the coffee machine and switch the main power
switch to the “0” position. Unplug the power cord from the power socket
and let the appliance cool down.
Caution:
Do not use abrasive cleaning agents, solvents, etc.
to clean any parts of the appliance, as these could
damage the surface of the appliance. None of the
components of this appliance are dishwasher safe.
Caution:
To prevent the risk of electric shock, do not immerse
the appliance, power cable, or plug into water or any
other liquid.

DAILY CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
Regular cleaning and maintenance are crucial for the proper
functioning and longevity of the appliance.
Before cleaning, turn off the appliance, unplug it and allow it to cool
down.
Automatic Rinsing
Each turn on and off of the coffee machine is accompanied by ashort
flushing of the entire system. In both cases, both the outlet and the
brewing unit are flushed. Asmall amount of water will flow from the outlet,
so place acup under the outlet with amin. volume of 100ml. When
the brewing unit is flushed, some of the water gets into the spent coffee
grounds container. This is normal. Therefore, we recommend regularly
emptying the spent coffee container so that the coffee does not come in
contact with the rinsing water. Pour the water from the rinse, clean the
containers, dry them and return them to their place.
Manual Rinsing
Manual flushing of the system, including the outlet and the milk system,
is recommended as aprecaution or when the appliance has not been
used for an extended period of time. The flushing can also be performed
without the milk container attached. In this case, it is necessary to close
the hole for connecting the A20 milk container with the A21 plug. In the
case of flushing, including the milk container, it is necessary to fill the
container with water instead of milk.
1. Press the button to initiate the manual rinsing process. Several
rinses and hot water dispensing will occur. Pour out the water.
2. The manual rinsing processwill automatically stop, you will hear
asound alert and the button will briefly blink, indicating that the
machine is heating up to operating temperature. Once the control
panel lights up, the coffee machine is readyfor the coffee preparation.
3. You can cancel the manual rinsing process by pressing the
button
.
Note:
Manual flushing is alarger flushing of the entire system.
In both cases, the outlet and the brewing unit are flushed,
or the milk system. Alarger amount of water will flow out
of the outlet, so place acup under the outlet of volume of
min. 300ml. When the brewing unit is flushed, some of the
water gets into the spent coffee grounds container. This is
normal. Therefore, we recommend regularly emptying the
spent coffee grounds container so that the coffee does not
come in contact with the rinse water. Pour the water from
the rinse, clean the containers, dry them and return them
to their place.
Drip tray
The drip tray should be emptied daily.
Carefully pull out the drip tray from the coffee machine. Remove the
grid. Empty its contents over the sink.
Clean the drip tray and grid with warm water and alittle dishwashing
detergent. Rinse and wipe dry.
Be careful when handling the A18 tray to avoid scalding. It may
contain hot water.
Place the grid back onto the drip tray and insert into the coffee
machine.
Coffee Grounds Container and Inner Tray
Empty the coffee grounds container whenever the warning indicator
light
comes on. The coffee grounds container has acapacity of 8
coffee servings or 4 if it is aDouble Espresso drink (the grinder grinds
two servings in arow). When emptying the container, ensure the coffee
machine is turned on to reset the counter.

brewing unit is not installed correctly.
If the warning indicator light blinks when you press the
beverage preparation button, the service door is not closed
properly.
Water Tank
Remove the water tank, rinse it with clean water, dry it and put it back in
its place.

To prevent milk from settling in the system and creating unwanted odours,
it is important to clean it after each use.
1. Place acup or glass under the head.
2. Fill the milk container with clean water and attach it to the inlet
opening (see Figure D3).
3. Press the
button to initiate the manual rinsing process. Several
rinses and hot water dispensing will occur. Pour out the water.
4. The manual rinsing process will automatically stop, and you will hear
asound alert, the button will briefly blink, indicating that the coffee
machine is heating up to operating temperature. Once the control
panel lights up, the coffee machine is ready to make another coffee.
5. You can cancel the manual rinsing process by pressing the
button.
6. Allow the coffee machine cool down for awhile so that you can
remove the milk frothing system and clean it manually.
7. Carefully remove the coffee spout cover by pressing its sides and
pulling it away from the spout.
8. Remove the milk frothing system, disassemble it (Figure F1), rinsing all
parts under running water.
9. It is important to clean the milk inlet opening with athin object (e.g.
aneedle) (Figure F2).
10. Thoroughly dry all parts and then reassemble them - see figure C1
and C2.
Milk Container, Milk Tube and Connecting Hose
1. Disconnect the connecting hose from the container lid.
2. Remove the lid from the milk container and pour out the remaining
contents of the milk container.
3. Remove the milk tube from the underside of the lid.
4. Wash the milk container, lid, milk tube and connecting hose in warm
water with asmall amount of neutral dishwashing detergent. Rinse
under clean water and dry properly.
5. If necessary, you can use aneedle to remove debris from the holes at
the ends of the connecting hose and in the lid where the connecting
hose is inserted.
6. Before assembling, make sure that both ends of the connecting hose
are clean and dry.

Therefore, regular descaling is necessary. Mineral deposits can spoil
the taste of your coffee.
The coffee machine is equipped with abuilt-in counter that keeps
track of the number of prepared coffees, and once it reaches 500,
the descaling process should be performed. In such acase, the HOT
WATER and
buttons will start blinking simultaneously.
1. Fill the water tank with asolution of water and descaling agent.
Use Sencor descaling agent suitable for Espresso-type coffee
machines and follow the instructions given in the descaling
agent'saccompanying documentation.
2. Place asufficiently large bowl under the head.
3. Press and hold the HOT WATER and
buttons simultaneously. The
coffee machine will enter the descaling mode.
4. The descaling process takes about 10 minutes. The control buttons
will slowly blink from left to right. Leave the coffee machine to
complete the descaling process.
5. Once the descaling process is complete, theHOT WATER and
buttons will turn off.
6. Remove the water tank and refill it with clean, cold water. Place it back
into the coffee machine and activate the manualrinsing process.
