authorized for operation without an individual FCC license. Operating the GMRS function of
this device without first obtaining an FCC license is a violation of federal law. Information on
obtaining a license, including application forms (FCC Form 605) and instructions, is available
on the FCC website at www.fcc.gov or by calling 1-888-CALL-FCC.
SECTION 2 – PROHIBITION ON NETWORK CONNECTION (LINKING)
NOTICE – Network Access Restriction: It is strictly prohibited to use the POC (Push-to-Talk
over Cellular) function of this device to relay, retransmit, or forward any voice communication
received from the GMRS transmitter over the internet or any other public or private network.
This device shall not be used as a network link or bridge for GMRS communications. Any such
use violates FCC rules regarding prohibited connections (47 CFR § 95.1733 and § 95.1749).

NOTICE: Any adjustments, modifications, or replacements of components (including antennas,
transmitters, or frequency-determining elements) that are not expressly approved by the
manufacturer or the party responsible for compliance could void the user's authority to
operate this equipment under FCC rules and may result in violation of 47 CFR Part 95.
SECTION 4 – DISTINCTION BETWEEN GMRS AND POC FUNCTIONS
DEVICE OPERATION STATEMENT:
●GMRS Mode: Requires an individual FCC license. This mode operates on radio frequencies
allocated to the General Mobile Radio Service and is subject to all rules under 47 CFR Part 95.
background
●POC Mode: Operates via commercial cellular networks (e.g., 4G/5G/LTE/Wi-Fi). This mode
does not require an FCC GMRS license. The POC function is subject to the terms and
conditions of the cellular service provider and is not considered a part of the GMRS
transmitter for FCC certification purposes.
●These two modes are functionally independent. The presence of the POC function does not
eliminate or alter the license requirement for the GMRS transmitter.
