To ensure reliable service, your product must be installed and used properly. Please read the
installation and operating instructions thoroughly prior to installation and use. Pay attention to the

• Do not put ngers or hands into the product.
• Use of an attachment not recommended or sold by power-pack manufacturer may result in a risk
of re, electric shock, or injury to persons.
• To reduce risk of damage to the electric plug and cord, pull the plug rather than the cord when
disconnecting the power pack.
• Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is damaged or modied. Damaged or modied
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior resulting in re, explosion or risk of injury.

• Do not disassemble the power pack. Take it to a qualied service person when service or repair is

• Before using the inverter, read all instructions and cautionary markings on the inverter, battery,
and product using battery.
• Use only Model #KB 224-03/ KB 224-06/ KB 324-06/ KB 424-03/ KXB 424-03/ KB 424A-06/
KB 424-06/ KB 524-06/ KB 524-03/ KB 624-03/ KB 624-06 KXB 824-03/ KXB 824-06 or Kobalt
24V series approved replacement Li-ion batteries, other types of batteries may burst causing
personal injury and damage, risk of electric shock. Do not touch the uninsulated portion of output
connector or uninsulated battery terminal.
• Remove AC Plug from outlet before using the inverter. Multiple outlet power strips with switches
and circuit breakers only interrupt power to the “hot” receptacle terminals. The “neutral” terminals
remain powered with respect to the “ground” terminals.
• Do not make any electrical connections or disconnections in areas designated as IGNITION
PROTECTED.
• This is not a toy - keep away from children.
• DO NOT install object into air vents. Reverse polarity connection will cause the unit to malfunction
and may permanently damage the product.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install the battery
Note:
Shut o the power source or disconnect
the battery when the inverter is not in use.
• Align the battery with the cavity in the
inverter.
• Hold the inverter rmly.
• Insert the battery in the opening until the
battery release button locks into place. You
should hear a “click” once it is installed.
Press the LED work light button (F) to turn on the
light.
Note:
The Inverter must be turned on to operate
the light.

• Connect a 120V AC, USB-A DC, or USB-C
DC plug into the corresponding receptacle.
• Press the power button (B) and hold for two
seconds to turn the inverter on.
Note:
The USB-C connection requires PD 3.0
or earlier protocol support when using external
devices. Devices without protocol support will
not function.

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Note:
Keep the air vent free of blockage, sawdust, and wood dust. Do not spray, wash, or submerge
in water.
• Clear the unwanted material out of the air vent with a vacuum.
• Clean housing and the plastic components with a soft, dry cloth.

INSTRUCCIONES DE USO
1. Instalación de la batería
Nota:
apague la fuente de alimentación o
desconecte la batería cuando no use el inversor
de potencia.
• Alinee la batería con la cavidad del inversor.
• Sostenga el inversor con rmeza.
• Coloque la batería en la abertura hasta que
el botón de liberación de la batería se trabe
en su lugar. Deberá escuchar un "clic" una
vez que está instalado.
Presione el botón de la luz LED (F) para
encender la luz.
Nota:
el inversor debe estar encendido para
operar la luz.

• Conecte un enchufe de 120V CA, USB-A
CC o USB-C CC en el tomacorriente
correspondiente.
• Presione el botón de encendido (B) y
manténgalo presionado durante dos
segundos para encender el inversor.
Nota:
la conexión USB C requiere respaldo del
protocolo PD 3.0 o anterior al usar dispositivos
externos. Los dispositivos sin respaldo del
protocolo no funcionarán.
