HOW TO USE
Before use, check appliance for visible damage. DO NOT USE THIS HEATER if there is evidence of damage. If any damage is found, contact
Vornado Air LLC at 1-800-234-0604.
1. Lift and carry the heater using the handles on bottom sides of unit. Position heater so airow is not obstructed, and plug power cord into
standard grounded wall outlet.
2. Press the power button ( ) and select a heat mode:
Personal Mode: Focuses heat directly around you for personalized comfort in your immediate space.
Whole Room Mode: Circulates heat throughout the room, ensuring a consistent temperature across the entire area.
NOTE: In both modes, press desired heat mode to change between LOW or HIGH heat settings.
3. Press ( ) to activate the Fan-Only Mode. Press ( ) to cycle through LOW or HIGH fan speeds without activating heat.
4. Press ( ) to set an automatic shut-off. Adjust the timer by cycling ( ) through 2, 4, or 8 hours.
5. When turning off the unit the Power light indicator will pulse for 20 seconds as the unit runs in fan only mode to remove excess heat from the
unit before shutting off.

CLEANING
Because your heater moves a substantial amount of air, it will need regular cleaning. Cleaning the outside of the heater is recommended
on a weekly basis.
1. Turn off and unplug heater before
cleaning.
2. Use brush attachment on
household vacuum cleaner to
vacuum any accumulated dust off

3. Remove pre-lter and use
brush attachment on household
vacuum cleaner to vacuum any
accumulated dust off pre-lter and
back of heater. Reattach the pre-
lter to the unit after cleaning.
4. Wipe down entire heater with a
soft, dry cloth.
Note: Do not modify the product
with any aftermarket accessory.
You should periodically blow
out the heater with pressurized
air to keep heat element and
motor clear of dust, hair and debris
that can build up inside the heater
as it moves air during use. This also
eliminates unwanted odors caused
by accumulation of these particles
inside the unit.

RESETTING YOUR VORNADO HEATER
Your Vornado Heater has a multilevel safety shut-off system designed
to prevent overheating. Overheating may occur when the inlet or
outlet are blocked. If this happens, the safety shut-off system cuts
power to the heater and you must manually reset the heater.
1. Power heater off, then unplug power cord.
2. Remove any obstructions.
3. Wait 5–10 minutes, allowing heater to cool down.
4. Plug in power cord and place heater in desired position.
5. Power heater On. Your Vornado Heater should now
function normally.
Note: If the safety shut-off system repeatedly shuts off your heater
or if it will not reset after following the above procedure, call
Vornado Consumer Services Department toll-free at
1-800-234-0604.
During the off-season or after extended periods of non-use, you may
choose to store your heater. To ensure long life of the product, it is
recommended to store your heater by following these instructions:
1. Unplug power cord and bundle loosely. DO NOT wrap power cord
around the unit.
2. Cover, or place back in retail carton if available. This prevents
heater from accumulating dust over time.
3. Store heater in cool and dry location.

Dispose of all packaging materials in an environmentally
responsible manner.

PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE AND SOLUTION
Unit fails to power on. Unit is not plugged in. Plug Power Cord into electrical outlet.
Household circuit breaker has tripped or blown fuse. Reset circuit breaker or replace fuse. See IMPORTANT
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS.
Ground fault circuit interrupter (GFCI) has tripped. Ground fault circuit interrupters are not recommended for
use and may cause nuisance tripping. If tripping does occur, relocate the unit to a standard wall outlet.
Unit has overheated. Automatic Safety Shut Off has initiated. See RESET HEATER.
Unit will not turn on at 0°F. Unit will start up once at a safe operating temperature above 0°F.
Unit is damaged or in need of repair. Cease usage and unplug. Contact Consumer Service for assistance.
Unit is not producing
sufcient amount of heat.
Ensure unit is set to High Heat.
Close all doors and windows to trap heat.
Allow unit to fully circulate heat throughout room; may take several minutes.
Control lights are ashing. High temperature is detected within the unit. Check the inlet and outlet for blockage.
Remove and clean the pre-lter.
Unit is too cold and once it has surpassed 0°F, the unit will operate normally.

Whole Room Heater (“Product”) is free from defects in material or workmanship for a
period of ve (5) years from the date of purchase. If any such defect is discovered within
the warranty period, Vornado, at its discretion, will repair or replace the Product at no cost.

This warranty does not apply to defects resulting from abuse of the Product, modication,
alteration, mishandling, improper maintenance, commercial use or repair or service of the
Product by anyone other than Vornado; damages which occur in shipment or are attributed

alters or converts the voltage or frequency of electricity, or shipping a Vornado product
to a country not intended for use will void all warranties. Any unauthorized product
modication, repair by unauthorized repair center, or use of non-approved replacement

CÓMO USAR
Antes del empleo, revise daños visibles en el aparato. NO UTILICE ESTE CALEFACTOR si hay evidencia de daño. Si encuentra algún daño,

1. Levante y transporte su calefactor usando las asas que tiene en los costados inferiores. Coloque el calefactor donde el aire uya sin
obstrucción y enchufe el cable a un contacto de pared estándar con conexión a tierra.
2. Presione el botón de encendido ( ) y elija un modo de calor:
Modo Personal: Concentra el calor justo alrededor de usted para un confort personalizado en su espacio inmediato.
Modo habitación completa: Distribuye el calor por toda la habitación, asegurando una temperatura uniforme en toda el área.
NOTA: En ambos modos, presione el modo deseado para cambiar el nivel de calefacción entre BAJO o ALTO.
3. Presione ( ) para activar el modo Solo ventilador. Presione ( ) para seleccionar entre BAJO o ALTO sin activar la calefacción.

LIMPIEZA

Debe apagar periódicamente el
calentador con aire presurizado para
mantener el elemento térmico y el
motor limpios de polvo, cabello y residuos
que pueden acumularse dentro del
calentador mientras mueve el aire durante
el uso. Esto también elimina los olores no
deseados causados por la acumulación de
estas partículas dentro de la unidad.

ALMACENAMIENTO
REINICIAR SU CALEFACTOR
Durante la temporada de desuso o luego de largos períodos sin
utilización, podría optar por guardar su calefactor. Para asegurar una
larga vida útil del producto, se recomienda guardar su calefactor
siguiendo las siguientes instrucciones:
Se recomienda una limpieza antes de su almacenamiento.
1. Desenchufe el cable de energía, enrolle el cable. NO enrolle el
cable de alimentación alrededor de la unidad.
2. Cúbralo o vuelva a guardarlo en la caja de cartón, si dispone de
la caja. Esto evitará que se acumule polvo en el calefactor con el
tiempo.
3. Guarde el calefactor en un lugar fresco y seco.
RESTABLECER EL CALEFACTOR VORNADO
Su calefactor Vornado cuenta con un sistema de apagado de
seguridad de varios niveles diseñado para evitar el recalentamiento.
El sobrecalentamiento puede ocurrir cuando la entrada o salida están
bloqueadas. Si esto sucede, el sistema de apagado de seguridad
cortará la energía del calefactor de calor y necesitará restablecer
manualmente el calefactor.
1. Apague el calefactor y desenchufe el cable de alimentación.
2. Retire cualquier obstrucción.
3. Espere 5 a 10 minutos, lo que permite que el calefactor se enfríe.
4. Conecte el cable de alimentación y coloque el calefactor en la

PROBLEMA POSIBLE CAUSA Y SOLUCIÓN
La unidad no se enciende. La unidad no está enchufada. Enchufe el cable de alimentación en el tomacorriente eléctrico.
El interruptor de circuito/la falla a tierra del hogar se desconectó o se quemó un fusible. Reinicie el disyuntor/
interruptor de circuito de accionamiento rápido o reemplace el fusible. Consulte el folleto INSTRUCCIONES
IMPORTANTES DE SEGURIDAD.
El interruptor de falla a tierra (GFCI) se ha disparado. No se recomienda el uso de GFCI con este aparato, ya
que puede causar desconexiones inoportunas. Si ocurre esto, mueva el calefactor a un tomacorriente estándar.
La unidad se ha sobrecalentado. El apagado de seguridad automático se ha iniciado. Consulte COMO
REINICIAR SU CALEFACTOR.
La unidad no encenderá a 0 °F (-17.8 °C). Se encenderá una vez que alcance una temperatura de operación
segura por encima de 0 °F (-17.8 °C).
La unidad está dañada o necesita reparación. Suspenda el uso y desenchúfela. Comuníquese con el servicio
