
Bluetooth Speaker
EC-BTA1 AC Only – 34W Hi-Fi Powered Speaker
Thank you for purchasing the Electro-Harmonix Bluetooth Speaker AC Only. It may only be powered with
an AC line voltage (100V-240V) connected to the AC connector on the rear panel. Total available output
power is 34W.
Power Up
To power up your speaker, aach the supplied AC cable to the AC port on the rear of the speaker.
Aach the other end of the AC cable to your wall outlet.
Turn the VOLUME knob clockwise, past its o/click posion. The blue LED blinks and then lights
solid.
Bluetooth Pairing
Once powered up, if the board has not been paired with any nearby devices, it should present itself
for pairing. The speaker will have a Bluetooth name such as EHX Apollo.
If the speaker does not present itself for pairing, press and hold the push buon unl the Blue LED
starts to blink—about 3 seconds. The board should now make itself available to be paired with a new
device.
The blue LED connues to blink unl a Bluetooth connecon is made at which point the blue LED
goes solid and the speaker is ready for playback.
Audio Playback
Once the speaker has been paired with a device, you may begin audio playback from the device. The
speaker has three knobs and a mul-funcon buon, controlling the following parameters:
VOL audio playback level
BASS low frequency EQ
TREBLE high frequency EQ
Push Buon
• Press and release to play/pause audio.
• Double-click to advance to the next track.
• Triple-click to return to the beginning of the current track or, if the current track is within
its rst 4 seconds, skip to the previous track.
• Press and hold for 3 seconds to enter pairing mode.

AUX Audio Input
The rear panel includes a stereo 1/8” input. Connect the Auxiliary input to the stereo output of a
device to listen to audio with a wired connecon instead of Bluetooth.
AUX Input Without a Bluetooth Connecon
Normally both Bluetooth and Auxiliary connecons are live at the same me so you could mix
wireless and wired audio together. If you prefer to only hear the Auxiliary input do the following:
• Power down the speaker by turning the VOL knob down to its minimum posion, where it
clicks into the o posion.
• Press and hold the push buon
• While connuing to hold down the buon, power up the speaker by turning the VOL knob
clockwise into the powered posion.
• Once you see the LED light, release the buon.
Power Down
Turn the VOL knob down to its full counterclockwise posion, unl you hear it click. The blue LED
shuts o.

plug is damaged, liquid has been spilled or objects have fallen into the apparatus, the apparatus has
been exposed to rain or moisture, does not operate normally, or has been dropped.
• DO NOT attempt to open the chassis. There are no user serviceable parts.
