Consignes de sécurité importantes
Lorsque vous utilisez votre appareil, suivez systématiquement les
consignes de base, y compris les suivantes:
• Lisez l’intégralité des consignes avant d’utiliser ce produit.
• Ce produit a été conçu pour un usage domestique et à l’intérieur
seulement. En cas d’utilisation commerciale, inappropriée ou non
conforme au mode d’emploi, le fabricant décline toute responsabilité
et la garantie ne s’applique pas.
• Branchez toujours votre appareil:
- sur un circuit d’alimentation d’une tension nominale comprise entre
220V et 240V;
- sur une prise reliée à la terre.
Une connexion à la mauvaise tension peut causer des dommages
irréversibles à l’appareil et rend votre garantie invalide.
• Si une rallonge est nécessaire, assurez-vous que sa tension nominale
est adaptée (16A), qu’elle est branchée à une prise de terre et qu’elle
est entièrement déployée. Une rallonge d’une tension nominale
inférieure peut entraîner un risque d’incendie ou d’électrocution
en raison d’une surchauffe. Soyez prudent lorsque vous installez la
rallonge afin qu’elle ne puisse pas être tirée ou causer une chute.

saisissez la fiche et tirez pour la retirer de la prise électrique.

Quelle eau utiliser?

d’eau parfumée ou adoucie, d’eau de pluie, d’eau filtrée, d’eau en bouteille ou bouillie, d’eau provenant d’un réfrigérateur,
d’une batterie ou d’un climatiseur. Ces types d’eau contiennent des déchets organiques et des éléments minéraux qui
se concentrent sous l’effet de la chaleur et entraînent des projections, des taches brunes, des fuites ou encore une usure
prématurée de votre appareil. Si votre eau est très dure, mélangez 50% d’eau du robinet non traitée avec 50% d’eau distillée
(disponible en quincaillerie). Ce type d’eau contient des déchets organiques et des minéraux qui se concentrent sous l’effet de
la chaleur et entraînent des projections, des taches brunes ou encore une usure prématurée de votre appareil.

Important safety instructions
When using your appliance, basic precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
• Read all instructions before using this product.
• This product has been designed for indoor, domestic use only. Any
commercial use, inappropriate use or failure to comply with the
instructions, the manufacturer accepts no responsibility and the
guarantee will not apply.
• Always plug your appliance:
- into a mains circuit with voltage between 220 V and 240 V.
- into an earthed electrical socket.
Connecting to the wrong voltage may cause irreparable damage to the
appliance and will invalidate your guarantee.
• If an extension cord is absolutely necessary, ensure that it is correctly
rated (16A) with an earth, and is fully extended. A cord rated for
less amperage can result in a risk of fire or electric shock due to
overheating. Care shall be taken to arrange the cord so that it cannot
be pulled or be tripped over.
• Completely unwind the power cord before plugging into an earthed
socket.
• Use appliance for its intended use only.
• The micro-fiber accessory must never be used to clean surfaces. This
accessory is only made to remove impregnated dust from textile.
• To reduce the risk of contact with hot water emitting from steam vents,
check appliance before each use by holding it away from body and
operating steam button.
• This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above
and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or
lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision
or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and
understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the
appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by
children without supervision.
• The fabric steamer must not be left unattended while it is connected
to the supply mains.

The surfaces which are marked with this sign, the soleplate
and steam cord are very hot during the use of the
appliance. Do not touch these surfaces before the
appliance has completely cooled down.
• Never disconnect the appliance by pulling on the power cord; instead,
grasp the plug and pull to remove from the socket outlet.
• Do not allow cord to touch hot surfaces or come into contact with
rough or sharp edges. Let the appliance cool completely down before
putting away. Loop cord loosely around appliance when storing.
• Always disconnect appliance from the electrical supply when filling
with water or emptying when cleaning, when removing or refitting
accessories and when not in use.
• Care should be taken when using the appliance due to the emission
of steam.

What water to use?
• Your appliance has been designed to use untreated tap water.
Do not use pure demineralised or pure distilled water, water from clothes dryers, scented or softened water, rain water,
filtered, bottled or boiled water, water from refrigerators, batteries or air conditioners as these may damage the appliance.
These types of water contain organic waste, mineral elements that become concentrated when heated and cause spitting,
brown staining, leaking or premature wear on your appliance. If your water is very hard, mix 50% untreated tap water
with 50% distilled water (available in hardware stores). This water contains organic waste materials or minerals that
concentrate under the effect of heat and cause spitting, brown colouring or premature ageing of your appliance.

Belangrijke veiligheidsinstructies
Bij het gebruik van uw apparaat, moeten de basisvoorzorgsmaatregelen
altijd worden nageleefd, met inachtneming van het volgende:
• Lees aandachtig alle instructies alvorens dit product te gebruiken.
• Dit apparaat is uitsluitend bestemd voor huishoudelijk gebruik
binnenshuis. Voor elk bedrijfsmatig of oneigenlijk gebruik of het niet
naleven van de instructies zal de fabrikant alle verantwoordelijkheid

• Sluit het apparaat altijd aan op een stopcontact:
- op een stroomvoorziening met een spanning tussen 220 V en 240 V.
- op een geaard stopcontact.
Aansluiten op een verkeerde spanning kan onherstelbare schade aan
het apparaat veroorzaken, waardoor uw garantie vervalt.
• Als een verlengsnoer noodzakelijk is, verzeker u er dan van dat het
correct is geclassificeerd (16A), van een aarding is voorzien en volledig
is afgewikkeld. Een snoer dat bestemd is voor een lagere stroomsterkte
kan een risico op brand of elektrische schok veroorzaken als gevolg
van oververhitting. Plaats het snoer zodanig dat het niet kan worden
uitgetrokken of er niet kan worden over gestruikeld.
• Wikkel het snoer volledig af alvorens de stekker op een geaard
stopcontact aan te sluiten.
• Gebruik het apparaat alleen voor zijn beoogde gebruik.

Het microvezelaccessoire mag nooit worden gebruikt om oppervlakken
te reinigen. Deze accessoire is alleen bedoeld om geïmpregneerd stof
van textiel te verwijderen.

vermogens of een gebrek aan ervaring en kennis, tenzij er toezicht
op hen wordt gehouden of zij instructie hebben gekregen over het
gebruik van het apparaat. Houd toezicht op kinderen, zodat ze niet
met het apparaat spelen.
• Het gebruik van andere dan de door de fabrikant geleverde aan te
sluiten accessoires wordt afgeraden en kan brand, elektrische schokken
of lichamelijk letsel veroorzaken.
•
Het apparaat moet worden gebruikt en neergezet op een vlak, stabiel
en hittebestendig oppervlak. Als u het strijkijzer op de steun plaatst,
zorg er dan voor dat het oppervlak waarop u het plaatst stabiel is.
• Gebruik het apparaat niet als het is gevallen, als het zichtbare schade
heeft, als het lekt of als het niet naar behoren werkt. Demonteer het
apparaat nooit zelf: laat het nakijken door een erkend servicecentrum
om elk risico uit te sluiten.
• Controleer voor gebruik het netsnoer op tekenen van slijtage of
beschadiging. Als het netsnoer beschadigd is, moet het worden vervangen
door een erkend servicecentrum om gevaarlijke situaties te voorkomen.
• Gebruik geen andere ontkalkingsmiddelen dan het middel dat is
vermeld in de gebruiksaanwijzingen.
• Om optimale resultaten van het ontsmetten te bereiken, stoom 3 keer
rustig heen en weer op de stof.
Voor ingebruikname
• Wanneer u het apparaat voor het eerst gebruikt, kan het rook, onschadelijke geur, of een kleine hoeveelheid stof
uitstoten. Dit heeft geen gevolgen voor het gebruik en verdwijnt zeer snel.
Welk soort water moet u gebruiken?
• Uw apparaat is ontworpen voor gebruik met kraanwater.
Gebruik geen zuiver gedemineraliseerd of zuiver gedistilleerd water, water van wasdrogers, geparfumeerd of onthard water,
regenwater, gefilterd, gebotteld of gekookt water, water uit koelkasten, accu’s of airconditioners, omdat deze het apparaat
kunnen beschadigen. Deze soorten water bevatten organisch afval, minerale elementen die geconcentreerd raken bij
verhitting en kunnen bruine vlekken, lekken of voortijdige slijtage van uw apparaat veroorzaken. Als het water erg hard
is, mengt u 50% onbehandeld kraanwater met 50% gedistilleerd water (verkrijgbaar in bouwmarkten). Dit water bevat
organisch afval of mineralen die zich concentreren onder invloed van de warmte en die spetters of bruine vlekken kunnen
veroorzaken of kunnen leiden tot vroegtijdige slijtage van uw apparaat.

Quale acqua usare?
