Launch the MEARI app, then tap Sign Up to create a new
account. If you already have an existing account, tap Log In
to sign in.

Add Device

Note: If the status indicator does not blink red slowly 30 seconds after
power-on, press and hold the Reset Button for 5 seconds to
facto reset the device. Resta the camera afterwards to
complete app pairing.
Press and hold the POWER button for 3 seconds to turn on
the camera. The camera will emit an audible voice prompt
once it is ready for pairing.

Solar Panel Installation
HOW TO POSITION YOUR SOLAR PANEL
a. Find the area that gets the most direct sunlight throughout
the day.
b. Angle the solar panel upward 30°.
c. Point it south if in the nohern hemisphere and noh if in the
southern hemisphere.
IMPORTANT
INSTALLATION
a. Wipe the face of the solar panel with a soft, damp cloth
regularly to clear any dust or debris.
b. Be sure to update the rmware version of the camera to the
latest version.

The Nohern Hemisphere The Southern Hemisphere
a. Please select a position with the most sunlight throughout
the year for your solar panel. The solar panel only needs a few
hours of direct sunlight to suciently power your camera daily.
The amount of energy that the solar panel can produce is
aected by weather conditions, seasonal changes, geographic
locations, etc.

b. Mount the bracket with included screws. (Make sure the UP
logo and the push-on pa are facing upwards.)
c. Inse the solar panel into the bracket and tighten it as shown
in the gure. (Make sure that the UP logo of solar panel and the
push-on pa of bracket are facing upwards.)

d. Loosen the adjusting control (Pa A) on the bracket and
adjust the angle of the solar panel to make it receive direct
sunlight, and then re-tighten the adjusting control to secure
your setting.
e. (Optional) Push down on the push-on pa to remove the
solar panel from the bracket.

Location Selection2
Select an installation position to achieve your ideal viewing
angle.
Please take the following factors into consideration:
• Avoid direct sunlight exposure to the camera lens.
• Do not point the lens directly at plants, porch lights, or
busy trac roads.
• Keep the camera away from air vents, including AC vents,
humidier outlets, and projector heat exhaust vents.
• Install the camera 2–3 meters (7–10 ft) above ground.
This height allows clear facial identication and two-way
audio communication. Ensure the camera covers your
desired monitoring area.

Live View

Launch the app to access live video streaming. You may take
snapshots, enable two-way audio intercom, record videos, and
use other available functions.

Charging
If you are not using a solar panel for power, the charging
indicator will show red when the batte is low.
Connect the device to an outlet (5V DC / 2A) using the provided
power cable. When the charging indicator turns blue, the
batte is fully charged.

Functions
AOV (Always on Video)
By utilizing the latest AOV tech, the batte camera allows for
24-hour recording and event recognition up to 70 meters,
addressing the limitations of traditional low-power devices that
do not record when there is no triggering event.
When no one is detected, the device captures video at a
user-set frame rate, eliminating invalid frames to save up to
90% of power and storage space. When a person is detected,
the device immediately switches to live recording.

The device fails to preview live video properly?
Check whether your Wi-Fi signal strength is sucient.
If the signal is weak, move the device closer to the router, or facto
reset the device and re-add it to the app.

Why does the device remain in the device list after resetting?
Facto reset only restores the device network settings. To completely
remove the device from your account, launch the app and delete the
device manually.

How do I switch the device to a dierent Wi-Fi network?
First, delete the device from the app list and facto reset the device.
Next, connect your phone to the target Wi-Fi network, then re-add the
device to the app..

Why does the device fail to recognize the Micro SD (TF) card?
We recommend inseing the Micro SD (TF) card after powering o the
device. Verify the card is functional and formatted to FAT32. Poor
network connectivity may also cause card recognition failure.

Conrm the app is running in the background on your phone, and the
device motion detection ale function is enabled. Also verify that
system-level message notications and notication permissions are
enabled on your mobile device.
