Replacement precautions
Thank you for choosing the refrigerator water inlet valve manufactured by
DAFORE company.
Firstly, cut off the power and turn off the water pipe, remove the baffle behind
the refrigerator, and before starting to replace the components, it is
recommended to use a camera to take pictures of the water pipe connections and
wiring terminals of the old components.
The correct method of connecting water pipes is a key factor in
maintaining stable operation
1. Steps for pulling out the water pipe
If the old component has a locking clip, first remove the locking clip (red or
blue), press the white valve ring to the bottom,and you can pull out the water pipe
2. Check the front end of the water pipe to ensure it is level.
If there are scratches on the outer wall, use a blade to cut off the rough part.
Attention, when cutting, be sure to gently pull the water pipe to ensure there is
excess remaining amount.
If the refrigerator is connected by the original flange, the front end of the
water pipe needs to be cut off.
3.The step of inserting the water pipe is very important, as it is a key factor
in ensuring that there will be no water leakage
If the blue lock is clamped on the port, please unplug it first. If not, it can be
ignored. Press the white valve ring to the bottom and insert it into the water pipe
with a flat front end and a smooth outer wall. The insertion depth is about 11/16
inches, and insert it firmly until it can no longer move forward. You can also mark
the corresponding length on the water pipe to ensure that it is inserted to the
bottom. Finally, insert the blue locking clip to lock the white valve ring onto the
water pipe.
4.Repeat the above steps to replace all ports and plug them back into the
wiring terminals.
