WARNING: When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should
always be followed as below:
1. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use

disconnect, turn any control to “OFF”
position, then remove plug from wall

14. Protect the temperature dial from
being hit, strong vibrations or
dropping.
15. Do not move the appliance while it is in
use. Set up the appliance in the desired
location in advance.
16. A re may occur if the appliance is
covered or touching ammable
materials including curtains, draperies,
walls and the like when in operation.
17. Do not clean with metal scouring pads.
Doing so will damage the nish & non-
stick coating and can break off the pad
and touch electrical parts, involving a
risk of electrical shock.
18. Do not store any materials on this unit
when not in use.
19. Do not place any of the following
materials on the unit: paper,
cardboard, plastic and the like.
20. Some countertop and table surfaces,
such as Corian®, wood and / or
laminates, are not designed to
withstand prolonged heat generated
by certain appliances. It is
recommended by countertop
manufacturers and Maxi-Matic® that a
hot pad or trivet be placed under your
appliance to prevent possible damage
to the surface.
21. Do not use appliance for other than
intended use.

SHORT CORD PURPOSE
POLARIZED PLUG
If the plug still does not t, contact a
qualied electrician. Never use the plug
with an extension cord unless the plug
can be fully inserted into the extension
cord. Do not alter the plug of the
product or any extension cord being
used with this product. Do not attempt
to defeat the safety purpose of the
polarized plug.
If this appliance is equipped with a
polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other), please follow the below
instructions:
To reduce the risk of electrical shock,
this plug is intended to t into a
polarized outlet only one way. If you
are unable to t the plug into the
electrical outlet, try reversing the plug.
If an extension cord is used: (1) the
marked electrical rating of the extension
cord should be at least as great as the
electrical rating of the product; (2) the
extension cord should be arranged so
that it will not drape over the counter
top or tabletop where it can
unintentionally be pulled on or tripped
over by children or pets.
Note: A short power cord is provided
to reduce the risk of personal injury
resulting from becoming entangled in or
tripping over a long cord.
Longer power-supply cords or
extension cords may be used if care
is exercised in their use.

PARTS IDENTIFICATION
BEFORE FIRST USE
• Carefully unpack the griddle and all parts. Remove all packaging materials,
including any stickers or labels and discard or properly recycle.
• Wash the griddle (without temperature control probe) in a dishwasher or in
warm soapy water. The removable drip tray may also be washed in the dish-
washer (Top Rack Only). Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.
• DO NOT IMMERSE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE OR ALLOW IT TO
COME IN CONTACT WITH ANY LIQUID. DO NOT PLACE THE TEMPERATURE
CONTROL PROBE IN THE DISHWASHER.
• Season the ceramic non-stick cooking surface by rubbing lightly with a cook-
ing oil. Remove excess oil with a paper towel.
• Position the griddle on a dry, level, heat-resistant surface. Different countertop
nishes and surfaces are effected differently by heat. Use care not to place
griddle on any surface where heat may cause a problem. Do not operate the
griddle on a nished wood countertop or table.
• It is recommended to operate this appliance on a separate outlet and circuit
from other appliances to avoid overloading the circuit.

HOW TO USE
Connecting the Removable Temperature Control Probe:
1. Ensure that the temperature control probe is unplugged
from a wall outlet and on the OFF setting before attaching
to the griddle.
2. Align the temperature control probe with the terminal
post of the griddle.
3. Gently slide the temperature control probe forward until it
locks in place and meets the pan.
4. Before using, ensure the temperature control probe is
locked into place and makes secure contact with the
griddle. If the temperature control probe is loose, it is not
assembled correctly, and the griddle will not properly
heat.
5. Ensure the dial is in the OFF position.
6. Plug into the wall outlet and then set dial to desired heat
level.
7. The griddle is now ready for use.
Disconnecting the Removable Temperature Control Probe:
1. Turn the dial to the OFF setting and unplug the cord from
the wall outlet.
2. Allow griddle to cool completely before disconnecting
temperature control probe.
3. Gently pull temperature control probe straight out to
avoid any damage to the temperature control probe or
the terminal post of the griddle.
How To Cook With The Griddle:
1. Make sure the drip tray is properly in place. DO NOT
OPERATE GRIDDLE WITHOUT DRIP TRAY IN PLACE.
2. Connect the temperature control probe to the griddle
according to the instruction above.
3. Insert plug into wall outlet and rotate the dial to desired
temperature setting (see chart on pg.6 for reference).
Allow griddle to preheat approximately 5 to 10 minutes.
When griddle reaches selected temperature, the indicator
light will go out.
NOTE: The indicator light will cycle on and off during
cooking process as the thermostat maintains the selected
temperature.
4. Prepare food for cooking and place on griddle for time
indicated in recipe being prepared. Cooking temperature
should be adjusted based on a combination of the food
being prepared and personal taste preference.
5. When nished cooking, rotate dial to OFF position, unplug
from wall outlet and allow griddle to cool completely
before moving, cleaning, storing, taking off or putting on
parts.
NOTE:
Only use nylon or
heat-proof plastic
cooking utensils.
Metal utensils may
scratch the ceramic
non-stick surface.
NEVER cut foods on
the griddle surface.
CAUTION:
Do not touch the
appliance while in
use. During use the
appliance becomes
hot. When using the
appliance always wear
heat safe kitchen mitts
or pot holders.
Use extreme caution
when removing tray
or disposing of hot
grease.

HOW TO USE (cont.)
COOKING TIPS:
1. Use cooking spray with sh, lean meats or vegetables.
2. When using wooden or bamboo skewers when cooking
kebobs, it is highly recommended to soak the skewers in
water for 10 minutes. This will prevent the skewers from
scorching or burning during the cooking process.

WARNINGS:
1. Always use caution when cooking. Hot oil, grease or juices
may splatter when cooking.
2. Do not touch any hot surfaces.
3. Do not cut food on the griddle during the cooking process.
4. It is recommended to not use metal utensils to handle food.
This will damage the non-stick coating of the griddle.

CLEANING & MAINTENANCE
This appliance requires little maintenance. It contains no user
serviceable parts. Do not try to repair it yourself.
1. Before cleaning, turn the temperature knob to OFF position,
unplug from outlet and allow to cool completely. After the
appliance has cooled, disconnect the temperature control
probe.
2. Before initial use and following each subsequent use, wash
the griddle in dishwasher or in warm soapy water. The
removable drip tray may also be washed in the dishwasher
(TOP RACK ONLY).
3. Rinse and dry all parts thoroughly.
4. DO NOT IMMERSE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE
OR ALLOW IT TO COME IN CONTACT WITH ANY LIQUID.
DO NOT PLACE THE TEMPERATURE CONTROL PROBE IN
THE DISHWASHER.
5. Clean the ceramic non-stick surface with a non-metal clean-
ing pad. If necessary, rm pressure may be applied.
6. To store, be sure all parts are clean and dry. Store appliance
in its box or in a clean, dry place. Never store it while it is hot
or wet. Never wrap cord tightly around the appliance; keep
it loosely coiled. Use care so that temperature control probe
and terminal post on griddle are not damaged during use
or when stored.
7. Any other servicing should be performed by an authorized
service representative.
CAUTION:
Never immerse the
griddle in water or any
other liquids. This may
cause an electrical
shortage and bodily
harm.

WARRANTY IS VALID WITH A DATED PROOF OF PURCHASE FROM AN
AUTHORIZED RETAILER
1. Your small kitchen appliance is warranted to the original purchaser to be free from any
manufacturing defects under normal use and conditions for one (1) year, cord excluded.
This Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product.
2. Retail stores/merchants selling this product do not have the right to alter, modify, or in any
way revise the terms and conditions of the warranty.
3. If you use your appliance for household use and according to instructions, it should give
you years of satisfactory service.
4. At its sole discretion, Maxi-Matic USA will either repair or replace the product found to be
defective during the warranty period.
5. The repaired or replacement product will be in warranty for the remaining balance of the
one-year warranty period and an additional one-month period.
6. Consumer’s remorse is not an acceptable reason to return a product to our Service Center.
7. This limited warranty covers appliances purchased and used within the 50 U.S. states plus
the District of Columbia and does NOT cover normal wear of parts or:
- Product Purchases that were listed as USED, LIKE NEW, OPEN BOX, or REFURBISHED
from Outlet Shops or Online Retailers.
- Damages caused by unreasonable use, neglect, normal wear and tear, commercial
use, improper assembly or installation of product.
- Damages caused in shipping.
- Damages caused by replacement or resetting of house fuses or circuit breakers.
- Defects other than manufacturing defects.
- Breakage caused by misuse, abuse, accident, alteration, lack of proper care
and maintenance, or incorrect current or voltage.
- Lost or missing parts of the product. Parts will need to be purchased separately.
- Damages of parts that are not electrical; i.e. cracked or broken plastic/glass,
scratched/dented inner pots.
- Damage from service or repair by unauthorized personnel.
- Extended warranties purchased via a separate company or reseller.
- Acts of nature such as re, oods, hurricanes, tornadoes, etc.
8. This warranty does not apply to re-manufactured merchandise.
Maxi-Matic, USA shall not be liable for any incidental or consequential damages caused by the
breach of any express or implied warranty. Apart from the extent prohibited by applicable law,
any implied warranty of merchantability or tness for a particular purpose is limited in time to
the duration of the warranty.
*One Year Limited Warranty valid only in the 50 U.S. states plus the District of Columbia,
excluding Puerto Rico and the Virgin Islands.
This warranty is effective only if the product is purchased and operated in the USA; product us-
age which is in violation of the written instructions provided with the unit will void this warranty.
For international warranty, please contact the local distributor.
This warranty gives you special legal rights and you may also have other rights to which you are
entitled which may vary by state, province, and/or jurisdiction.

RETURN INSTRUCTIONS
RETURNS:
A. Any return of defective merchandise to the manufacturer must be
processed accordingly by rst contacting customer service to obtain an
RA # (Return Authorization Number). We will not accept any returns of
merchandise without an applicable RA #.
B. IMPORTANT RETURN INSTRUCTIONS. Your Warranty depends on your
following these instructions if you are returning the unit to Maxi-Matic,
USA:
1. Carefully pack the item in its original carton or other suitable
box with sufcient cushioning to avoid damage in shipping.
2. Before packing your unit for return, be sure to enclose:
a) Your name, full address with zip code, daytime tele
phone number, and RA#,
b) A dated sales receipt or PROOF OF PURCHASE,
c) The model number of the unit and the problem you
are having (Enclose in an envelope and tape directly to
the unit before the box is sealed,) and
d) Any parts or accessories related to the problem.
3. Maxi-Matic, USA recommends that you ship the package via UPS
ground service for tracking purposes. We cannot assume
responsibility for lost or damaged products returned to us
during incoming shipment. For your protection, always carefully
package the product for shipment and insure it with the carrier.
C.O.D shipments cannot be accepted.
4. All return shipping charges must be prepaid by you.
5. Once your return has been received by our warehouse, Maxi-Matic,
USA will repair or replace the product if it is defective in material or
workmanship, subject to the conditions in paragraph B.
6. Maxi-Matic will pay the shipping charges to ship the repaired or
replacement product back to you.
