he electronic and magnetic fields emitted by this Microplush Heated Pillow may interfere with the
function of a pacemaker. However, they are still well below the limits for electrical field strength (5000
V/m max), magnetic field strength (80 A/m max), and magnetic flux density (0.1 millitesla max). Please
consult your doctor and the manufacturer of your pacemaker before using this Microplush Heated Pillow.

4� Intended Use
This Microplush Heated Pillow is intended for applying heat to the human body. IHeat therapy is a natural
way to relieve joint pain and pain associated with muscle tension and stress. It has been clinically proven
that applying heat to a vulnerable area helps soothe sore muscles, relieve cramps and spasms. Any use
not described above, or modifications of the Microplush Heated Pillow are not permissible and may lead to
injury and /or damage to the Microplush Heated Pillow. The manufacturer assumes no liability for damage
due to improper use.
Safety System
The Microplush Heated Pillow is equipped with a safety system. The electronic sensor technology prevents
the entire surface of the Microplush Heated Pillow from overheating by automatically switching off in the
event of a fault. If the safety system switches the Microplush Heated Pillow off automatically due to a fault,
then the heating indicator light on the controller is no longer illuminated, even if the Microplush Heated Pillow
is switched on.
NOTICE
•
P
lease note that, for safety reasons, the Microplush Heated Pillow must not be used after a fault and must
be returned to the service address indicated.
• N
ever connect the defective Microplush Heated Pillow to another controller of the same type. This would
also result in a permanent shutdown by the safety system in the controller.

5� To Use
NOTICE
• T
he Microplush Heated Pillow may smell of plastic the first time you use it, but this will disappear after
a short period of time.
To begin, first connect the control connector to the Microplush Heated Pillow connector (on the inside of
the cover).

The control connector must be connected to the Microplush Heated Pillow connector before plugging
the unit into an electrical outlet. After connecting the Microplush Heated Pillow connector to the control
connector, plug the unit into a 120V AC electrical outlet.
Switching On
Set the controller to 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 or 6 to switch on the Microplush Heated Pillow.
NOTICE
• T
he heat indicator light illuminates after the Microplush Heated Pillow is switched on.
•
T
his Microplush Heated Pillow features rapid heating, which allows it to heat up within the first 10
minutes of operation.
Switching Off
Set the controller to 0 to switch off the Microplush Heated Pillow.
NOTICE
• The heat indicator light will switch off.
Selecting Temperature
Just before using the Microplush Heated Pillow, set it to the highest temperature setting (setting 6). This
will cause the Microplush Heated Pillow to warm up quickly. When using the Microplush Heated Pillow for
several hours, set it to the lowest temperature setting (setting 1).
Automatic shut-off
The Microplush Heated Pillow switches itself off automatically after about 120 minutes. The heat indicator
light then starts to flash. Then select the setting 0 and after about 5 seconds, reset the Microplush Heated
Pillow to the desired temperature setting to switch it on again.
If the Microplush Heated Pillow is no longer used after the timer expires:

witch off the Microplush Heated Pillow (setting 0),
• U
nplug from electrical outlet,
• D
isconnect the controller from the Microplush Heated Pillow.

6� Care, Maintenance and Disposal
Washing Instructions
DO NOT DRY CLEAN! DO NOT USE BLEACH! DO NOT USE WRINGER! DO NOT IRON YOUR HEATED
PILLOW!
If the Microplush Heated Pillow is slightly soiled, use a dampen cloth and some mild detergent, if necessary.
Use a dry, lint-free cloth for controller cleaning and care.
NOTE: Do not wash inner pad!

. Switch off the heated pillow (setting 0).

. Disconnect power cord. DO NOT pull by the cord to unplug.

. Disengage pillow/controller connector. Always remove the inner pad before cleaning. To do this undo
the zip fastening. The inner pad is not washable.

. Machine wash cover in warm water on gentle cycle; tumble dry on medium heat. Remove promptly
from the dryer. Or, hand wash in warm water and line dry.

. Reshape the still damp heated pillow to the original size immediately after washing, and dry flat, spread
on a clothes drying rack

. DO NOT reconnect the controller to the heated pillow until the control connector and the heated pillow
are completely dry.

OTICE
•
Never immerse the controller in water or other liquids. It may otherwise be damaged.
•
Do NOT use chemical cleaning or scouring agents to clean the Microplush Heated Pillow and
controller. The Microplush Heated Pillow and controller may otherwise be damaged.
•
Do not hang the Microplush Heated Pillow up to dry with pegs or similar items. The Microplush
Heated Pillow may otherwise be damaged.
Storage
NOTICE
•
Let the Microplush Heated Pillow cool before storing. The Microplush Heated Pillow may otherwise
be damaged.
•
Do not store other objects on top of the Microplush Heated Pillow. The Microplush Heated Pillow
may otherwise be damaged.
•
If you do not intend to use the Microplush Heated Pillow for any length of time, store it in the original
packaging in a dry environment and without weighing it down.
•
Disconnect the controller from the Microplush Heated Pillow.
Disposal
Observe the local regulations for material disposal. Dispose of the device in accordance with local regulations.
If you have any questions, please contact the local authorities responsible for waste disposal.

10� Warranty
5-Year Limited Warranty for Original Purchaser
Your Beurer Microplush Heated Pillow, Model UHP 48, is warranted to be free from defects in materials and
workmanship for a period of five (5) years from the date of purchase under normal conditions of intended
use and service. This warranty extends only to the original retail purchaser and does not extend to retailers
or subsequent owners.
We will, at our option, repair or replace the Beurer Microplush Heated Pillow, Model UHP 48, without
additional charge, for any part or parts covered by this written warranty. No refunds will be given. Repair or
replacement is our only responsibility and your only remedy under this written warranty. If replacement parts
for defective materials are not available, Beurer reserves the right to make product substitutions in lieu of
repair or replacement.
For warranty service, contact our customer service department at 1-800-536-0366 or info@beurer.com with
a description of the problem. If the issue is deemed to fall within the scope of the 5-Year Limited Warranty,
you will be asked to mail the product (at your cost) in its original package along with proof of purchase, your
name, address, and phone number. If the issue is not deemed eligible under warranty, we will provide a
quotation for repair or replacement, including return shipping fees.
Third-Party Repairs
This warranty complies with the federal Magnuson–Moss Warranty Act. You may use third-party parts or
services for repairs without voiding this warranty, unless the repair itself causes damage to the product. We
encourage you to retain your proof of purchase and contact our customer service team with any questions.
Unauthorized Sellers
This warranty applies only to products purchased from Beurer or authorized retailers and distributors. Products
purchased from unauthorized sellers — including third-party platforms or online marketplaces (such as eBay
or unverified Amazon sellers) — are not covered by this warranty. This policy is in place to protect customers
from counterfeit, altered, or used products that may not meet Beurer’s quality standards.
If you’re unsure whether your seller is authorized, please contact our support team.
Exclusions
This warranty does not cover damage caused by misuse or abuse; accident; the attachment of unauthorized
accessories; alterations; improper installation; misapplication; lack of reasonable care; unauthorized repairs or
modifications; improper electrical/power supply; worn batteries; normal wear and tear; power loss; dropped
product; failure to follow instructions; lack of recommended maintenance; transit damage; theft; neglect;
vandalism; or environmental conditions.
This warranty is void if the product is used in a commercial or business environment.
Beurer‘s maximum liability under this warranty is limited to the actual purchase price paid, as confirmed by
proof of purchase. The warranty is effective only in the country where the product was purchased and used.

This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights which vary from state to state.
THE WARRANTY PROVIDED HEREIN SHALL BE THE SOLE AND EXCLUSIVE WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED

4� Uso previsto
Esta Almohadilla térmica de microplush está diseñada para aplicar calor al cuerpo humano. La terapia de calor
es una forma natural de aliviar el dolor articular y el dolor asociado con la tensión y el estrés muscular. Se ha
demostrado clínicamente que aplicar calor en una zona vulnerable ayuda a aliviar los músculos adoloridos,
los calambres y los espasmos. No se permite ningún uso no descrito anteriormente ni ninguna modificación
de la Almohadilla térmica de microplush, ya que pueden provocar lesiones o daños en esta. El fabricante no

Sistema de seguridad

El conector de control debe estar conectado al conector de la Almohadilla térmica de microplush antes
de enchufar la unidad a la toma de corriente. Después de conectar el conector de la Almohadilla térmica
de microplush al conector de control, enchufe la unidad a una toma de corriente alterna de 120V.
Encendido
Seleccione 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 o 6 en el controlador para encender la Almohadilla térmica de microplush.

Selección de la temperatura
Seleccione la temperatura más alta (número6 en el controlador) justo antes de utilizar la Almohadilla
térmica de microplush. De esta forma, la Almohadilla térmica de microplush se calentará rápidamente.
Cuando utilice la Almohadilla térmica de microplush durante varias horas, seleccione la temperatura más
baja (número1 en el controlador).
Apagado automático
La Almohadilla térmica de microplush se apagará automáticamente después de unos 120minutos. A
continuación, la luz indicadora de calor empezará a parpadear. Cuando esto suceda, seleccione el ajuste0
y, después de aproximadamente 5segundos, restablezca la temperatura deseada en la Almohadilla térmica
de microplush para encenderla de nuevo.

Si la Almohadilla térmica de microplush está ligeramente sucia, utilice un paño humedecido y un poco de
detergente suave si es necesario. Utilice un trapo seco y sin pelusa para la limpieza y cuidado del controlador.

. Lave la almohadilla a máquina en agua tibia en un ciclo suave y séquela en secadora a temperatura media.
Retírela inmediatamente de la secadora. O bien, lave a mano en agua caliente y séquela al aire libre.

. Vuelva a dar forma a la almohadilla térmica inmediatamente después del lavado para que recupere su
tamaño original, y séquela extendida.

mano de obra durante un período de cinco (5) años a partir de la fecha de compra, en condiciones normales de
uso y servicio previstos. Esta garantía se aplica solamente al comprador original y no se extiende a vendedores
minoristas o propietarios subsecuentes.
A nuestra discreción, repararemos o reemplazaremos la almohadilla térmica de microplush Beurer, modelo UHP
48, sin cargo adicional, por cualquier parte o partes cubiertas por esta garantía escrita. No se harán reembolsos.
La reparación o reemplazo es nuestra única responsabilidad y el único recurso con que usted cuenta según esta
