A. GENERAL FUNCTION
The Remote Control (RCU) interacts with a Set-Top-Box (STB),
supporting two-way radio frequency communication. The RCU
supports Infrared (IR) transmission with a Universal Database
(UDB) to control television (TV) sets and it supports firmware
upgrades over the air (OAD).

B. TURN ON PRODUCT
The remote control is normally packaged with the battery required
for functional operation (2 AAA Cell, 3 V DC). In case the battery is
not supplied with the remote control, please use one accordingly.
Turn on the remote control following the instructions bellow.
(1) Turn ON your TV and your
Set Top Box.
(2) Remove the packaging and
collect the remote control
and any other present
accessories.

(3) Remove the remote control
battery lid.
(4) Place the battery inside the
compartment following the
indicative markings.
