INSTANCES WHEN THE MASSAGER SHOULD NOT BE USED
IN THE FOLLOWING CIRCUMSTANCES, SWITCH THE POWER OFF IMMEDIATELY AND
DISCONNECT THE POWER SUPPLY PLUG FROM THE ELECTRICAL OUTLET:
• If water is spilled on the massager. This may result in electrical shock
• If severe or abnormal pain is felt during the massage, stop operation and consult your doctor
• If you detect any malfunction or any other abnormal condition during operation
• If there is a power failure, injury may occur when power is restored unexpectedly
• If there is lightning
ASSEMBLY AND REPAIR OF THE MASSAGER
• The massager must only be serviced or repaired by a recommended HoMedics Service Center
• Users must NOT disassemble or repair the massager themselves
NOTES ABOUT POWER PLUG AND CORD
• Please check that the voltage of the power supply corresponds with the specification indicated
for the massager
• Do not disconnect the AC plug from the electrical outlet roughly
• Do not connect or disconnect the AC plug from outlet with the wet hands. It may result in
electrical shock or machine trouble
• When disconnecting the AC plug, pull it out by holding the plug, not the cord
• Do not place the AC power cord under the massager or another heavy object
• Do not wind the AC power cord around the massager as it may damage the cord and result in fire
or electrical shock
• Do not operate the massager with a damaged cord or tamper with the cord
• Only use the adaptor and attachments supplied with this massager
• Do not use the massager if the electrical outlet is excessively loose
PRODUCT CARE AND STORAGE
• Be sure to remove the AC plug from the electrical outlet before cleaning the massager
• Do not use benzene, thinner or any other abrasive solvent on your massager
• Use a dry cloth when cleaning the massager. Never use a damp cloth to clean the massager or
the power switch
• When necessary, detach the fabric covers for cleaning to ensure good hygiene
• When not in use for a long time, it is advisable that the AC power cord of the massager be coiled
and the massager be stored in a dust and moisture free location
• Do not store the massager near intense heat or an open flame. Do not leave the massager under
direct sunshine for a long period of time
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS:
WHEN USING ELECTRICAL PRODUCTS, ESPECIALLY WHEN CHILDREN ARE PRESENT, BASIC
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS SHOULD ALWAYS BE FOLLOWED, INCLUDING THE FOLLOWING:
• Do not stand on, or exert excessive pressure on the massager. This may significantly slow down
or stop the motor, potentially causing overheating or subsequent damage to the massager.
• The total recommended usage time of the massager is 15 minutes.
• Press the “stop” button to terminate the massager if discomfort is experienced. The discs may not
stop instantly, as they will continue to complete the last kneading cycle before returning to their
“home” position.
• Some users may experience itchiness on their feet during and after the massage. This is normal
and is a result of improved blood circulation.
USAGE ENVIRONMENT
• Do not use this massager in an excessively humid environment such as the bathroom.
• Do not use this massager on a wet body, this may result in a short circuit or an electric shock.
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS:
This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

The following users must consult their doctor before use:
• Those suering from cancer
• Those suering from osteoporosis
• Those suering from malignant tumors
• Those who have a high fever
• Women who are pregnant
SAFETY PRECAUTIONS DURING USE
• Do not use the massager for any purpose other than massage. This may result in accident or
injury
• Do not use the massager when the fabric cover is torn or is missing
• Do not let children or persons who are not capable of operating the equipment to operate the
machinery
• Do not stand or sit on the massager itself
• Do not insert metallic objects or flammable materials into the main body. This may result in
electrocution, short circuit or possible fire
• Do not use the massager within an hour of mealtime
• Do not cover the massager during operation. This may result in a rise in motor temperature and
subsequent breakdown or fire

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
1. Remove the massager from the packaging and place it on a flat, level surface in front of your
chair
2. Ensure the ON/OFF switch at the back of the unit is set to OFF before inserting the power cord
connector into the machine, then plug the power plug into the mains outlet
3. Switch the ON/OFF switch at the back of the unit to the ON position (4)
4. To activate the massager, press the power switch (6) on
AUTO MODE:
When you turn on the massager on it will be in AUTO mode.
There are 3 dierent massage programs available in AUTO MODE. To alternate between the
dierent modes simply press the AUTO button for your preferred massage program. You will
notice that LED display will show P1, P2 or P3 as you press the AUTO button, and the timer will be
counting down from 15 minutes. The unit will turn o after 15 minutes.
MANUAL MODE:
1. When you choose the manual mode it will default to a foot & calf massager. You will notice HA on
the LED mode screen, and the timer will be counting down from 15 minutes. The unit will turn o
after 15 minutes
2. If you press the MANUAL button for a second time the massager will provide a calf only massage
3. If you press the MANUAL button a third time will provide a foot only massage
4. In the MANUAL mode you are also able to operate the heat/and or vibration function.
Simply press the VIBRATION/WARM button to select your preference.
TURNING THE MASSAGER OFF
Simply press the POWER button on the top of the massager. The massager may take a couple of
seconds to stop as it resets to the resting position, enabling you to easily remove your legs.
