concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards
involved.
• Children shall not play with the appliance.
• Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without
supervision.
• Do not use this unit to supplement or replace medical treatment. Chronic
complaints and symptoms may be made worse.
• Do not use the appliance near your eyes or near any other sensitive areas.
• Very long periods of use can lead to overheating. So after continuously
operating for 15 minutes, user should stop it for at least 15 minutes before
using it again.
• Do not use the appliance if it shows signs of damage, if it is not in perfect
working order, or if it has been dropped or dipped into water. In order to
prevent hazards, always send the unit in to the service centre.
• Only use accessories intended for the appliance and supplied by the
manufacturer.
• Do not immerse the device in water or other uids.
• Do not insert objects into the openings of the device.
• Do not operate the unit where aerosol (spray) products are being used or
where oxygen is being administered.
• If the unit is not going to be used for a long period, please remove the
batteries.

Packaging is recyclable or can be returned to the raw material cycle. Please
dispose of packaging material that is no longer required properly. If you
notice any transport damage when unpacking, please contact your dealer
immediately.
Advantages of the massage pad attachment
The 2 in1 massage pad attachment is made of natural loofah material (a
pumpkin plant equipped with brous netting) for intensive exfoliation and soft
microbre material for a pleasant massage. It allows exible use on legs,
shoulders, neck, arms, feet and other parts of the body.

Insert / replace batteries
1. Turn the bottom of the unit so that the two arrows
on the bottom and top of the unit are aligned to
each other.
2. Remove the bottom of the unit. Note: There is a
seal between the two parts of the appliance to prevent water from entering,
which makes removing the bottom of the appliance difcult.
3. Open the battery compartment cover and remove the batteries. Insert two
new AAA (1.5 V) batteries. Make sure that the polarity (+/-) is correct.
4. Close the battery compartment cover.
5. Put the bottom of the unit back to the top and turn the unit parts against
each other to close them securely.
Cleaning the massage pad attachment
After use, the massage pad attachment should be cleaned to remove bacteria
and skin particles left behind from the application. Soaking in a solution of
warm water and household vinegar (approx. 1 tablespoon of vinegar to 1 glass
of water) is very suitable for this. Soak for a few minutes and then rinse! You
can also wash the attachment in the washing machine at 60°C (do not use
fabric softener!). The attachment must dry completely after cleaning to prevent
bacteria from multiplying in the wet tissue. To do this, squeeze out the moisture
thoroughly with your hands and hang the attachment up, preferably outside of
damp rooms, until it is completely dry.
Replacing the massage pad attachment
The massage pad attachment can also be used for many months with daily use

Disposal

Warranty and repair terms
Please contact your dealer or the service centre in case of a claim under the
warranty. If you have to return the unit, please enclose a copy of your receipt
and state what the defect is.
The following warranty terms apply:
1. The warranty period for medisana products is three years from date of
purchase. In case of a warranty claim, the date of purchase has to be proven
by means of the sales receipt or invoice.
2. Defects in material or workmanship will be removed free of charge within the
warranty period.
3. Repairs under warranty do not extend the warranty period either for the unit
or for the replacement parts.
4. The following is excluded under the warranty:
a. All damage which has arisen due to improper treatment, e.g.
non-observance of the user instructions.
b. All damage which is due to repairs or tampering by the customer or
unauthorised third parties.
c. Damage which has arisen during transport from the manufacturer to the
consumer or during transport to the service centre.
d. Accessories which are subject to normal wear and tear.
5. Liability for direct or indirect consequential losses caused by the unit are
excluded even if the damage to the unit is accepted as a warranty claim.

The correct way of massage

partner. You have the option of hooking the massage pad attachment included
in the scope of delivery either with the loofah side or the microbre side facing
outwards into the 4 hooking tongues on the unit

. If the loofah side is facing
downwards, the skin contact of the loofah fabric in combination with the vibration
massage causes a massage with peeling effect (removal of unsightly skin akes
and stimulation of blood circulation).
The microbre side is suitable for soft and soothing skin cleansing. The
massage should always be performed with a moist massage pad attachment
in circular movements all over the body. The effect is enhanced if the massage
is performed on wet skin (e.g. after showering or bathing). With the appliance
switched on, hold the massage heads

with gentle pressure on the part of the
body to be massaged. Do not concentrate on the same part of the body for too
long during the massage, but change the massage area more frequently during
the application. You can decide which effect you want to achieve by the direction
of the massage: A massage towards the heart relaxes, a massage away from
the heart stimulates. Press the ON/OFF button

again to switch the unit off.
Cleaning and care
• Remove the batteries before cleaning the unit.
• Clean the unit with a soft cloth lightly moistened with a mild soap solution.
Never use harsh cleaning agents or alcohol.
• Do not expose the unit to direct sunlight, protect it from dirt and moisture.
• Store the unit in a clean and dry place.
In accordance with our policy of continual product improvement, we reserve
the right to make technical and optical changes without notice.

• Clean the battery / item contact points before inserting the batteries
if necessary!
• Remove discharged batteries from the device immediately!
• If a battery has been swallowed seek medical attention immediately!
• Increased risk of leakage, avoid contact with skin, eyes and mucous
membranes! If battery acid comes in contact with any of this parts,
rinse the affected area with copious amounts of fresh water and seek
medical attention immediately!
• Replace all of the batteries simultaneously!
• Only replace with batteries of the same type, never use different
types of batteries together or used batteries with new ones!
• Insert the batteries correctly, observing the polarity!
• Remove the batteries from the device if it is not going to be used for
an extended period!
• Keep batteries out of children‘s reach!
• Do not attempt to recharge these batteries! There is a danger of
explosion!
• Do not short circuit! Do not throw into a re! Danger of explosion!
• Do not throw used batteries into the household refuse; put them in a
hazardous waste container or take them to a battery collection point,
at the shop where they were purchased.
