IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed, including the
following:
• Read all instructions before use.
• To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, variable temperature control, or
appliance in water or any other liquid.
• Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children.
• Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting on or taking off
parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
• Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions or
has been damaged in any manner.
• This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical,
sensory, or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given
supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
• The use of attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause fire, electric

• Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
• To disconnect the appliance, turn any control to off (if applicable), then remove plug from wall outlet.
• Do not use appliances for anything other than their intended use.
• Avoid contact with moving parts. Keep hands and utensils out of jar while blending to prevent
personal injury or damage to the blender. A rubber spatula may be used ONLY when the blender is
not running.
• The blade is sharp. Handle with care.
• To reduce the risk of injury, never place cutter-assembly blades on base without jar properly attached.
• Always put the lid on the jar before operating the blender.
• Do not blend boiling liquids in the blender. When blending hot liquids beware of steam. Remove
the Measuring Cup from the lid to allow steam to escape.
• Do not use the jar if it has been damaged.

POLARIZED PLUG
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric
shock, this plug will fit into a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit correctly into the
outlet, flip it. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat this safety
feature by modifying the plug in any way.
EXTENSION CORD USE
A short power-supply cord is provided to reduce the risk resulting from becoming entangled or tripping
over a longer cord.
The use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, longer extension cords may be used if care
is exercised.
• If an extension cord is used,
a. The leveled electrical rating of the cord set, or extension cord should be at
least as great as the electrical rating of the appliance.
b. The cord should be arranged so that it will not drape over the countertop or tabletop
where it can be pulled on by children or tripped over unintentionally.
ELECTRIC POWER
If the electrical circuit is overloaded with other appliances, your appliance may not operate properly. It
should be operated on a separate electrical circuit from other appliances.
TAMPER-RESISTANT SCREW
Warning: This appliance is equipped with a tamper-resistant screw to prevent removal of the outer
cover. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not attempt to remove the outer cover. There are
no user serviceable parts inside.

BEFORE FIRST USE
• Remove all packing material and stickers from the product and save instruction manual.
• Cut and remove tie wrap located between the electric plug blades.
• Before using your new appliance, wipe the body of the appliance with a damp cloth.
• Wash all the removable parts with warm sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Blender Jar Assembly (Refer to the below drawing)
1. Place the appliance on a flat stable surface.
2. Turn jar upside down so the small opening is at the top.
3. Place sealing ring over the jar opening.
4. Place blade into the jar.
5. Place the jar base onto the jar and rotate it clockwise until it’s tight.
6. Turn over the jar and place the measuring cup on the lid and onto the jar.
• Place assembled jar on blender base.

HOW TO USE YOUR BLENDER
• Make sure the appliance is OFF.
• Place food to be blended inside the jar.
• Place lid with measuring cup on the jar.
Note: The appliance should always have lid in place when in use.
• Plug into a standard 120 Volt AC outlet.
Caution: Do not place the jar on the blender base when motor is running.
• Select the speed that best suits your desired task. See SPEED CHART. Caution: When in use, do not
leave blender unattended. When using hard foods, such as ice or cheese, keep one hand on the lid
to keep blender in place.
• For blending task or when blending thick mixtures, use the PULSE button for several seconds, then
release. Repeat until food has desired consistency. Releasing the PULSE button automatically turns
the blender off.
• Open the measuring cup to add ingredients while the blender is running and drop ingredients through
the opening.
Caution: Do not remove the lid while the blender is running.
• When finished, press the PULSE/OFF button.
• Remove the jar from the blender base and remove the lid to pour the content.
Caution: Make sure blades have completely stopped before attempting to remove the jar from the
blender base.
• Unplug unit.

BLENDING TIPS
• Cut food into pieces no larger than 3/4” for use in the blender.
• When preparing foods that have several different kinds of ingredients, always add liquid ingredients
first.
• When ingredients splatter onto the sides of the jar or the mixture is very thick, press the PULSE/
OFF button to turn appliance off. Remove the lid and use a rubber spatula to scrape down the sides
of the jar and to redistribute the food, pushing food toward the blades. Replace the lid and continue
blending.
• When making breadcrumbs make sure the blender jar is completely dry.
• When using PULSE function, use short bursts. Allow the blades to stop rotating between pulses.
Do not use PULSE for more than 2 minutes. This function is helpful when short bursts of power are
needed, such as when preparing thick smoothies or milkshakes.
• When blending hot ingredients, remove the measuring cup and then put it back partly open with the
opened side tilted away from you. Cover the lid with a cloth to avoid splattering and only use the
lowest speed. Do not blend more than 2 ½ to 3 cups at a time.

CARE AND CLEANING
This product contains no user serviceable parts.
• Unplug the cord.
• After each use, wash all the removable parts with warm sudsy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
Keep attention not to wet the electrical parts; therefore, never rinse the blender base under tap water
or immerse it in water or other liquids.
• For quick clean up, combine 1 cup hot water and a drop of liquid dish soap in the jar. Select CLEAN
function. Blend for 10 – 15 seconds. Empty jar of soapy water into sink. Rinse jar thoroughly with
clean water.
Note: This is not a substitute for regular cleaning described above. It is especially
• important to disassemble and clean your blender thoroughly when processing milk, dairy products,
and eggs.
Caution: Blades are sharp, handle carefully.
Note: Make sure all the parts are properly reassembled before each use.
• The appliance and its parts are NOT dishwasher safe.
• Do not use any abrasive cleaners or metal pads to clean the appliance.
• Never spray or apply cleaner directly onto or into the appliance.
STORAGE AND MAINTENANCE
• Wind the electrical cord under the bottom of the base.
• Store your appliance in a dry location, such as on a tabletop, countertop, or on a cupboard shelf.
• Other than recommended cleaning, no further user maintenance should be necessary.

Cuando se utilizan electrodomésticos, siempre se deben respetar ciertas medidas de seguridad

ENCHUFE POLARIZADO
Este aparato tiene un enchufe polarizado (un contacto es más ancho que el otro). Para reducir el riesgo
de choque eléctrico, este enchufe entra en un contacto polarizado de una sola manera. Si el enchufe no
entra correctamente, inviértalo. Si aún así no encaja, busque la ayuda de un electricista calificado. No

USO DE UN CABLE DE EXTENSIÓN
El producto viene con un cable corto de suministro de potencia para reducir el riesgo que resulta de

ANTES DE UTILIZAR POR PRIMERA VEZ
• Retire todo el material de empaque y las calcomanías adheridas al producto y conserve el manual
de ins-trucciones.
• Corte y retire la banda plástica que pasa por los contactos del enchufe.
• Antes de usar la máquina, limpie toda la superficie de esta con un paño húmedo.
• Lave todas las partes removibles con agua tibia y jabón. Enjuague y seque.
• Armando la Jarra (Ver la imagen que se muestra abajo)
1. Coloque el producto sobre una superficie plana y estable.
2. Coloque la jarra boca abajo para que la abertura más pequeña quede en la parte
superior.
3. Coloque el anillo de sellado sobre la abertura más pequeña de la jarra.
4. Coloque la cuchilla en la jarra.
5. Coloque la base de la jarra en la jarra y gire en sentido horario hasta que quede
apretado.
6. Voltee la jarra boca arriba.
7. Coloque la tapa con la copa para medir en la licuadora.
• Enrosque la jarra en la base de la licuadora.
• Su licuadora esta lista para usar.

COMO USAR SU LICUADORA
• Asegúrese que la licuadora este apagada (OFF).
• Coloque los alimentos dentro de la jarra.
• Coloque la copa para medir en la tapa y colóquela sobre la jarra.
Nota: La licuadora siempre debe tener la tapa puesta mientras este en uso.
• Enchufe en una toma de corriente estándar de 120 voltios de corriente alterna.
Advertencia: No coloque la jarra en la base de la licuadora cuando el motor este encendido.
• Seleccione la velocidad que más se adapta a lo que desee preparar. Vea la TABLA DE VELOCIDADES
• para mayor información.
Advertencia: Siempre este pendiente de la licuadora cuando la esté usando. Cuando vaya a licuar
alimentos muy duros, como hielo o queso, coloque una mano sobre la tapa de la licuadora para
mantenerla en su posición mientras licua.
• Para moler o batir mezclas muy espesas, presione el botón de pulso (PULSE) durante varios
segundos y seguidamente suéltelo. Repita lo mismo hasta que el alimento haya adquirido la
consistencia deseada. Si suelta el botón de pulso (PULSE) la licuadora se apagará automáticamente.
• Si necesita agregar más ingredientes mientras la licuadora está prendida, quite la copa para medir
y agréguelos por allí.
Advertencia: No quite la tapa de la licuadora cuando está prendida.
• Cuando termine de licuar presione el botón de apagar (PULSE/OFF).
• Saque la jarra de la base de la licuadora y retire la tapa de la jarra para servir.
Advertencia: Asegúrese que las cuchillas están completamente paradas antes de quitar la jarra de la
base de la licuadora.
• Desconecte la licuadora.

SUGERENCIAS PARA LICUAR
• Corte los alimentos en trozos de no más de ¾ de pulgada antes de introducirlos en la licuadora.
• A la hora de preparar alimentos con diferentes tipos de ingredientes, coloque siempre los ingredientes
líquidos de primero.
• Si los ingredientes se quedan adheridos a las paredes de la jarra o si la mezcla es demasiado
espesa, presione el botón de apagar (PULSE/OFF) para apagar el aparato. Retire la tapa y usando
una espátula de plástico elimine la mezcla que esta adherida a las paredes y redistribuya los
alimentos hacia las cuchillas. Vuelva a colocar la tapa y siga licuando.
• Cuando vaya a moler pan asegúrese de que la jarra está completamente seca.
• Cuando utilice la función de pulso (PULSE), solo presiónelo por tiempos cortos. Espera a que
las cuchillas se paren completamente antes de cada pulsación. No utilice esta función por más
de 2 minutos. Esta función resulta útil cuando se necesite breves ráfagas de potencia; como por
ejemplo, en la preparación de batidos de leche o de yogur.
• Cuando desee licuar líquidos calientes, retire la copa para medir de la tapa y déjelo entreabierto
de tal forma que el lado abierto quede alejado de usted. Cubra la tapa con un trapo para evitar
salpicaduras y utilice la velocidad más baja. No mezcle mas de 600 a 700 mL (2 ½ a 3 tazas) al
mismo tiempo.

CUIDADO Y LIMPIEZA
Este producto no contiene piezas reparables por el consumidor.
• Desconecte el cable del tomacorriente.
• Después de cada uso, lave todas las piezas removibles con agua y jabón. Enjuague y seque
completamente. Tenga cuidado de no mojar las partes eléctricas. Nunca enjuague la base de la
licuadora directamente bajo el agua del grifo ni la sumerja en agua u otros líquidos.
• Para una limpieza rápida, combine 1 taza de agua caliente y una gota de jabón líquido en la jarra.
Seleccione la función para LIMPIAR y licue durante 10 a 15 segundos. Descarte el agua jabonosa
en el lavaplatos. Enjuague la jarra con agua limpia.
Nota: Esta limpieza no reemplaza la limpieza regular descrita anteriormente. Es muy importante
