1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
This product is a rechargeable lithium-ion (Li-ion)
battery equipped with overcharge protection, over-
discharge protection, short circuit protection, and cell
balancing.
It's important to note that while Li-ion batteries have
built-in safety features, proper handling, storage, and
usage practices are crucial for ensuring their safe
operation.
1.2 INTENDED USE
This product is designed exclusively for use with
greenworks battery-powered products of the same
voltage. It should not be used with non-greenworks
products or incompatible products of different voltages.
Please refer to the Operator Manual provided with your
greenworks product for proper usage instructions.

2.2 IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
WARNING
READ ALL SAFETY WARNINGS AND
INSTRUCTIONS. FAILURE TO FOLLOW THE
WARNINGS AND INSTRUCTIONS MAY RESULT
IN ELECTRIC SHOCK, FIRE AND/OR SERIOUS
INJURY.
• To prevent unintentionally starting your Greenworks
product, ensure that the switch on the product is in
the off position before inserting the battery. Avoid
carrying the product with your finger on the switch
or activation lever when the switch is on, as this can
lead to serious injury.
• Disconnect the battery pack from the product before
making any adjustments, changing accessories,
or storing the product. Such preventive safety
measures reduce the risk of starting the product
accidentally.
• Only use products with battery pack(s) that are
specifically designated for that product. To avoid the
risk of injury and fire, do not attempt to use any
other types of battery packs.

• CAUTION – To reduce risk of injury, use
only CAG801, CAG812, CAG817, CAG828 or
Greenworks 24V series approved replacement
chargers. Using other types of chargers may cause
personal injury and damage.
• When not in use, keep the battery away from metal
objects such as paper clips, coins, rings, bracelets,
keys, nails, screws, or other small metal objects
that could connect the terminals. Short-circuiting the
battery terminals may overheat and cause a fire.
• If the battery is misused or subjected to abusive
conditions, corrosive liquid may discharge from the
battery. Avoid contact with the liquid. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water and seek
medical attention if it contacts the eyes. Liquid
ejected from the battery may cause irritation or
burns.
• Do not use a battery pack or product that is
damaged or modified. Batteries that have been
damaged or modified can behave unpredictably,
which can result in a fire, explosion, or risk of injury.
• Do not expose a battery pack or product to fire
or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or
temperature above 265 ˚F(130 ˚C) may cause
explosion.
• Follow all charging instructions and only charge
within the specified temperature range to avoid
damaging the battery and increasing the risk of fire.
• To maintain the safety of the product, any servicing
required should be performed by a qualified service
technician using only identical replacement parts.
• Follow the instructions for use and care; do not
modify or repair the product or battery, except as
instructed.
3 OPERATION
WARNING
Carefully read and understand the safety chapter
and operation instructions before you operate the
product.
3.1 BATTERY LED INDICATOR
CAUTION
The battery should be charged completely before
using it for the first time.
Press the battery level indicator button. The lights will
illuminate according to the battery's charge level. See
chart below:

3.2 CHARGE THE BATTERY
CAUTION
ONLY CHARGE THE BATTERY WHEN THE
AMBIENT TEMPERATURE IS BETWEEN 39 °F (4
°C) AND 104 °F (40 °C).
1. Connect the battery charger to a power outlet.
CAUTION
ONLY CONNECT THE BATTERY CHARGER
TO A POWER OUTLET WITH THE VOLTAGE
AND FREQUENCY SPECIFIED ON THE
RATING PLATE.
2. Connect the battery to the charger. Check if the
charging LED comes on, which indicates that the
battery is properly connected.
3. Wait for the charging LED to turn solid green,
which means the battery is fully charged. Once
fully charged, disconnect the battery from the
charger.
4. To disconnect the charger from the power outlet,
pull the power plug. Do not pull the power cord.
4 TRANSPORTATION, STORAGE AND
DISPOSAL
4.1 TRANSPORTATION AND STORAGE
• The supplied Li-ion batteries obey the Dangerous
Goods Legislation requirements.
• Follow special packaging and labeling requirements
for the commercial transportation, including by third
parties and forwarding agents.
• Seek advice from a person with special training in
dangerous materials before shipping the product
and comply with all applicable national regulations.
• Use tape on open contact when packaging the
battery and ensure is it securely packed to prevent
movement.
• Avoid storing the battery in an area where static
electricity may occur, and do not store in a metal
box.
• Store the battery in a dry, moisture-free, and frost-
free environment, away from direct sunlight, and at
the recommended temperature.
• Keep the battery away from sunlight.

• Before storing the battery for extended periods,
charge it to a level of 30% to 50%. This helps to
maintain the battery's health during storage.
• During storage, keep the battery and charger
separate from each other. Do not allow children or
unauthorized persons to handle the equipment and
store it in a secure location that can be locked.
4.2 BATTERY DISPOSAL
WARNING
IF THE BATTERY PACK CRACKS OR BREAKS,
WITH OR WITHOUT LEAKS, DO NOT RECHARGE
IT AND DO NOT USE. DISPOSE OF THE
BATTERY AND REPLACE WITH A NEW BATTERY
PACK. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REPAIR IT! TO
AVOID INJURY AND RISK OF FIRE, EXPLOSION,
OR ELECTRIC SHOCK, AND TO AVOID DAMAGE
TO THE ENVIRONMENT:
• COVER THE BATTERY’S TERMINALS WITH
HEAVY-DUTY ADHESIVE TAPE.
• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO REMOVE OR DESTROY
ANY OF THE BATTERY PACK COMPONENTS.
• DO NOT ATTEMPT TO OPEN THE BATTERY
PACK.
• DO NOT PLACE THESE BATTERIES IN YOUR
REGULAR HOUSEHOLD TRASH.
• DO NOT INCINERATE.
• DO NOT PLACE THEM WHERE THEY WILL
BECOME PART OF ANY WASTE LANDFILL OR
MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE STREAM.
• TAKE THEM TO A CERTIFIED RECYCLING OR
DISPOSAL CENTER.

6 LIMITED WARRANTY
Greenworks products and batteries are protected
against all defects in materials, parts, or workmanship
under normal use for a period of 3 years from the
shipping date or in-store purchase date.
At its own discretion, Greenworks can opt to repair,
replace, substitute with a comparable item, or issue a
refund for products that are determined to be defective
through normal use or that have been damaged during
shipment. Proof of purchase and product registration
is required. Replacement of products or parts subject
to normal wear and tear is the responsibility of the
customer.
This warranty is valid only for units which have been
maintained in accordance with the instructions found
in the operator manual supplied with the product; and
for units which have been registered in one of the
following ways:

If Greenworks accepts a return under warranty, you
can return the defective or damaged product only
after you call our Customer Care team and receive a
Return Authorization from Greenworks. You will also
receive a refund for your original shipping charges,
and Greenworks will arrange and pay for your return

6.1 ITEMS NOT COVERED BY WARRANTY
• Any part that has become inoperative due to
misuse, commercial use, abuse, neglect, accident,
improper maintenance, or alteration.
• The unit, if it has not been operated and/or
maintained in accordance with the operator manual.
• Normal wear, except as noted below:
• Normal deterioration of the exterior finish due to
use or exposure.
• Any part/product, that has become inoperable
due to use with any non-Greenworks - branded
parts or batteries/chargers.

6.3 SHIPPING
Transportation charges for the movement of any power
equipment unit or attachment are the responsibility of
the purchaser. It is the purchaser’s responsibility to
pay transportation charges for any part submitted for
replacement under this warranty unless such return is
requested in writing by Greenworks.

1 INTRODUCTION
1.1 DESCRIPTION DU PRODUIT
Ce produit est une batterie Li-ion rechargeable
équipée d’une protection de surcharge, d’une
protection de décharge excessive, d’une protection de
court-circuit et d’un équilibrage de cellule.
Il est important de noter que, bien que les
batteries Li-ion intègrent des fonctionnalités de
sécurité, des pratiques appropriées de manipulation,
d’entreposage et d’usage sont cruciales pour assurer
un fonctionnement en toute sécurité.
1.2 UTILISATION CONFORME
Ce produit est conçu exclusivement pour un usage
avec des produits sur batterie Greenworks présentant
la même tension. Il ne doit pas être utilisé pour
charger les produits non-Greenworks ou autrement
incompatibles, de tension différente. Veuillez vous
référer au Manuel de l’opérateur fourni avec votre

• Pour éviter tout démarrage involontaire de votre
Greenworks produit, assurez-vous que l'interrupteur
du produit est en position d'arrêt avant d'insérer la
batterie. Évitez de porter le produit avec le doigt
sur l'interrupteur ou le levier d'activation lorsque
l'interrupteur est allumé, car cela peut entraîner des
blessures graves.
• Débranchez la batterie de l'appareil avant
d'effectuer des réglages, de changer d'accessoires

Greenworks 24des chargeurs de remplacement
approuvés pour la série V. L'utilisation d'autres
types de chargeurs peut causer des blessures et
des dommages corporels.
• Lorsqu'elle n'est pas utilisée, la batterie doit
être tenue à l'écart d'objets métalliques tels que
trombones, pièces de monnaie, bagues, bracelets,
clés, clous, vis ou autres petits objets métalliques
susceptibles de se connecter aux bornes. Un court-
circuit entre les bornes de la batterie peut entraîner
une surchauffe et provoquer un incendie.
• Si la batterie est mal utilisée ou soumise à des
conditions abusives, un liquide corrosif peut s'en
échapper. Évitez tout contact avec ce liquide.
En cas de contact accidentel, rincez à l'eau et
consultez un médecin en cas de contact avec les
yeux. Le liquide éjecté de la batterie peut provoquer
des irritations ou des brûlures.
• N'utilisez pas une batterie ou un produit
endommagé ou modifié. Les batteries qui ont été
endommagées ou modifiées peuvent se comporter
de manière imprévisible, ce qui peut entraîner un
incendie, une explosion ou un risque de blessure.
• N'exposez pas une batterie ou un produit au feu
ou à une température excessive. L’exposition au feu
ou à une température supérieure à 265 ˚F (130 ˚C)
peut provoquer une explosion.
• Suivez toutes les instructions de charge et ne
chargez que dans la plage de température spécifiée
pour éviter d'endommager la batterie et d'augmenter
le risque d'incendie.
• Pour maintenir la sécurité du produit, toute
réparation doit être effectuée par un technicien

3 FONCTIONNEMENT
AVERTISSEMENT
Lisez attentivement et comprenez le chapitre sur la
sécurité et les instructions d'utilisation avant d'utiliser
le produit.
3.1 INDICATEUR LED DE LA BATTERIE
ATTENTION
La batterie doit être complètement chargée avant la
première utilisation.
Appuyez sur le bouton d’indicateur de niveau de
batterie. Les voyants s'allument en fonction du niveau
de charge de la batterie. Voir le tableau ci-dessous :

3.2 RECHARGEZ LA BATTERIE

1. Connectez le chargeur de batterie à une prise
électrique.

2. Connectez la batterie au chargeur. Vérifiez si la
DEL de charge s’allume, indiquant que la batterie
est correctement connectée.
3. Attendez que la DEL de charge devienne
vert constant, signifiant que la batterie est
complètement chargée. Une fois complètement
chargée, déconnectez la batterie du chargeur.

4. Pour déconnecter le chargeur de la prise
électrique, tirez la fiche d'alimentation. Ne tirez
pas sur le cordon d’alimentation.
4 TRANSPORT, ENTREPOSAGE ET MISE AU
REBUT
4.1 TRANSPORT ET ENTREPOSAGE
• Les batteries Li-ion fournies respectent les
exigences de la législation relative aux substances
dangereuses.
• Respectez les exigences spéciales sur l’emballage
et l’étiquetage pour le transport commercial. Ce
point concerne également les tiers et les agents
transitaires.
• Recherchez le conseil d’une personne spécialement
formée sur les substances dangereuses avant
d'expédier le produit et respectez l’ensemble de la
législation nationale applicable.
• Utilisez du ruban sur les contacts ouverts pour
emballer la batterie et assurez-vous qu’elle est
emballée en toute sécurité pour éviter tout
mouvement.
• Évitez de ranger la batterie dans une zone exposée
à l’électricité statique et ne la gardez pas dans une
boîte métallique.
• Entreposez la batterie dans un environnement sec,
sans humidité et à l’abri du gel, à l’écart de
la lumière directe du soleil et à la température
recommandée.
• Maintenez la batterie à l’abri de la lumière du soleil.
• Avant l’entreposage de la batterie pour des périodes
prolongées, chargez-la entre 30% et 50%. Vous
contribuez ainsi à préserver la santé de la batterie
durant l’entreposage.
• Durant l’entreposage, conservez la batterie et le
chargeur séparés l’un de l’autre. Ne laissez pas
les enfants ou les personnes sans autorisation
manipuler l’équipement et rangez-le à un endroit
sécurisé pouvant être fermé sous verrou.
4.2 MISE AU REBUT DE LA BATTERIE

6 GARANTIE LIMITÉE
Greenworks Les produits et batteries sont couverts
contre les défauts de matériaux, de pièces et de main-
d’œuvre pour un usage normal sur une période de 3
ans à compter de la date d'expédition ou de la date
d'achat en magasin.
À son entière discrétion, Greenworks peut choisir
de réparer, de remplacer, de substituer par un article
comparable ou d’émettre un remboursement pour
les produits déterminés comme défectueux dans le

cadre d’un usage normal ou endommagés durant
l’expédition. Une preuve d’achat et d’enregistrement
du produit est nécessaire. Le remplacement des
produits ou pièces soumis à une usure et un
vieillissement normaux incombe au client.

1 INTRODUCCIÓN
1.1 DESCRIPCIÓN DEL PRODUCTO
Este producto es una batería recargable de
iones de litio (Li-ion) equipada con protección
contra sobrecarga, protección contra sobredescarga,
protección contra cortocircuitos y equilibrado de
celdas.
Es importante tener en cuenta que, aunque las
baterías Li-ion cuentan con funciones de seguridad
integradas, una manipulación, un almacenamiento y
un uso adecuados son cruciales para garantizar su
funcionamiento seguro.
1.2 USO PREVISTO
Este producto se ha diseñado exclusivamente para
su uso con productos greenworks con funcionamiento
a batería de la misma tensión. No debe utilizarse
con productos que no sean de greenworks ni con
productos incompatibles de tensiones diferentes.
Consulte el Manual del operario suministrado con su
producto greenworks para obtener instrucciones de
uso adecuadas.

• Para evitar una puesta en funcionamiento
involuntaria de su Greenworks producto, asegúrese

de que el interruptor del producto esté en la
posición de apagado antes de insertar la batería.
Evite llevar el producto con el dedo en el interruptor
o en la palanca de activación cuando el interruptor
esté encendido, ya que esto puede provocar
lesiones graves.
• Desconecte la batería del aparato antes de realizar
cualquier ajuste, cambiar de accesorios o guardar
el aparato. Estas medidas preventivas reducirán
el riesgo de que la herramienta eléctrica pueda
activarse accidentalmente.
• Utilice únicamente productos con paquetes de
baterías que estén específicamente designados
para ese producto. Para evitar el riesgo de lesiones
e incendios, no intente utilizar ningún otro tipo de
baterías.

• PRECAUCIÓN - Para reducir el riesgo de lesiones,
utilice únicamente CAG801, CAG812, CAG817,
CAG828 o Greenworks 24cargadores de repuesto
homologados de la serie V. El uso de otros tipos
de cargadores puede causar lesiones personales y
daños.
• Cuando no esté en uso, mantenga la batería
alejada de objetos metálicos como clips, monedas,
anillos, pulseras, llaves, clavos, tornillos u otros
objetos metálicos pequeños que puedan conectar
los terminales. Un cortocircuito en los terminales de
la batería puede provocar un sobrecalentamiento y
un incendio.
• Si la batería se utiliza incorrectamente o se somete
a condiciones abusivas, es posible que se salga
líquido corrosivo de la batería. Evite el contacto con
el líquido. En caso de contacto accidental, lávese
con agua y acuda al médico si entra en contacto
con los ojos. El líquido de la batería puede provocar
irritación y quemaduras.
• No utilice una batería o aparato que esté dañado
o modificado. Las baterías que han sido dañadas
o modificadas pueden comportarse de manera
impredecible, lo que puede provocar un incendio,
una explosión o riesgo de lesiones.
• No exponga la batería o el aparato al fuego ni a
temperaturas excesivas. La exposición a un fuego
o temperatura superior a 130ºC (265ºF) puede
provocar una explosión.
• Siga todas las instrucciones de carga y cargue solo
dentro del rango de temperatura especificado para
evitar dañar la batería y aumentar el riesgo de
incendio.
• Para mantener la seguridad del producto, cualquier
servicio requerido debe ser realizado por un técnico
de servicio calificado utilizando solo piezas de
repuesto idénticas.
• Siga las instrucciones de uso y cuidado; no
modifique ni repare el producto ni la batería,
excepto según se indica en las instrucciones.
3 MODO DE EMPLEO
AVISO

3.1 INDICADOR LED DE BATERÍA
PRECAUCIÓN
La batería debe cargarse completamente antes de
utilizarla por primera vez.
Pulse el botón indicador de nivel de la batería. Los
pilotos se iluminarán en función del nivel de carga de
la batería. Vea la tabla a continuación:

3.2 CARGA DE LA BATERÍA

1. Conecte el cargador de baterías a la toma de

2. Conecte la batería al cargador. Comprueba si se
enciende el LED de carga, lo que indica que la
batería está correctamente conectada.
3. Espere a que el LED de carga se encienda en
verde continuo, lo que significa que la batería
está totalmente cargada. Una vez finalizada la
carga, desconecte la batería del cargador.

4. Para desconectar el cargador de la toma de
alimentación, saque el enchufe. No tire del cable
de alimentación.
4 TRANSPORTE, ALMACENAMIENTO Y
ELIMINACIÓN
4.1 TRANSPORTE Y ALMACENAMIENTO
• Las baterías de iones de litio suministradas cumplen
los requisitos de la legislación sobre mercancías
peligrosas.
• Siga los requisitos especiales de embalaje y
etiquetado para el transporte comercial, incluso por
parte de terceros y agentes de transporte.
• Pida consejo a una persona con formación
especial en materiales peligrosos antes de enviar
el producto y cumpla todos los reglamentos
nacionales aplicables.
• Utilice cinta adhesiva en los contactos abiertos
cuando embalaje la batería y asegúrese de que
esté bien embalada para evitar que se mueva.
• Evite almacenar la batería en una zona donde
pueda producirse electricidad estática y no la
almacene en una caja metálica.
• Almacene la batería en un lugar seco, sin humedad
y donde no haya heladas, alejada de la luz solar
directa y a la temperatura recomendada.
• Mantenga la batería alejada de la luz solar.
• Antes de almacenar la batería durante periodos
prolongados, cárguela hasta un nivel del 30% al
50%. Esto ayuda a mantener la batería en buen
estado durante el almacenamiento.
• Durante el almacenamiento, mantenga la batería
y el cargador separados. No permita que niños
o personas no autorizadas manipulen el equipo y
almacénelo en un lugar seguro que pueda cerrarse
con llave.
4.2 ELIMINACIÓN DE LA BATERÍA

6 GARANTÍA LIMITADA
Greenworks los productos y las baterías están
protegidos contra cualquier defecto de materiales,
piezas o mano de obra en condiciones normales de
uso durante un periodo de 3 años a partir de la fecha
de envío o de compra en la tienda.
A su entera discreción Greenworks puede optar
por reparar, reemplazar, sustituir por un artículo
comparable o reembolsar los productos que se
consideren defectuosos por su uso normal o que
hayan sufrido daños durante el envío. Se requiere
prueba de compra y registro del producto. La

normal es responsabilidad del cliente.

6.1 ARTÍCULOS QUE NO CUBRE LA
GARANTÍA
• Cualquier pieza que haya quedado inoperativa
debido a un uso indebido, uso comercial, abuso,
negligencia, accidente, mantenimiento inadecuado
o alteración.
• La unidad, si no ha sido operada y/o mantenida de
acuerdo con el manual del operador.
• El desgaste normal, excepto según se indica a
continuación:
• El deterioro normal del acabado exterior debido
al uso o exposición.
• Cualquier pieza/producto, que se haya vuelto
inoperable debido al uso con piezasGreenworks
o baterías/cargadores sin marca.
