1. To reduce the risk of electric shock, ensure the electricity has
been turned off at the circuit breaker or fuse box before you
begin.
2. All wiring must be in accordance with the National Electrical
Code ANSI/NFPA 70 and local electrical codes. Electrical
installation should be performed by a qualied licensed
electrician.
3. The outlet box and support structure must be securely mounted
and capable of reliably supporting a minimum of 35 lb (15.9
kg). Use only UL Listed outlet boxes marked “Acceptable for
Fan Support of 35 lb (15.9 kg) or less.”
4. The fan must be mounted with a minimum of 7 ft. (2.1 m) of
clearance from the trailing edge of the blades to the oor.
5. Do not place objects in the path of the blades.
6. To avoid personal injury or damage to the fan and other items,
use caution when working around or cleaning the fan.
7. After making electrical connections, spliced conductors should
be turned upward and pushed carefully up into the outlet box.
The wires should be spread apart with the grounded conductor
and the equipment-grounding conductor on one side of the
outlet box.
8. All set screws must be checked and retightened where
necessary before installation.

from defects in workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of one year after the date of purchase by
the original purchaser. The supplier also warrants that all other fan parts, excluding any glass or acrylic blades, to be free from defects
in workmanship and material at the time of shipment from the factory for a period of one year after the date of purchase by the original
purchaser. We agree to correct such defects without charge or at our option replace with a comparable or superior model if the product
is returned. To obtain warranty service, you must present a copy of the receipt as proof of purchase. All costs of removing and reinstalling

MOUNTING OPTIONS
WARNING: To reduce the risk of re, electric shock
or personal injury, mount to an outlet box marked
“Acceptable for fan support of 35 lb (15.9 kg) or less”,
and use screws provided with the outlet box. An outlet
box commonly used for the support of lighting xtures
may not be acceptable for fan support and may need to
be replaced. If in doubt, consult a qualied electrician.
If your ceiling fan does not have an existing UL Listed
mounting box, then install one using the following
instructions:
□ Disconnect the power by removing the fuses or turning
off the circuit breakers.
□ Secure the outlet box directly to the building structure.
Use the appropriate fasteners and materials. The outlet
box and support structure must be securely mounted and
capable of reliably supporting a minimum of 35 lb (15.9
kg). Use only UL Listed outlet boxes marked “Acceptable
for fan support of 35 lb (15.9 kg) or less.” Do not use a
plastic outlet box.
The illustrations below show three different ways to mount
the outlet box.

Attaching the fan to the electrical box
□ Remove and save the two screws (NN) from the round
holes, and keep the parts. Turn off the power.
□ Loosen the two mounting screws (GG) that are supplied
with the outlet box (K, not included), but do not remove the
screws (GG).
□ Securely attach the mounting plate (A) to the outlet box (K)
by sliding the mounting plate (A) over the two mounting
screws (GG) provided with the outlet box (K).
□ Pull the 120-volt supply wires (black, white, and ground)
out of the outlet box (K) and through the hole in the
mounting plate (A), then lay them to the side.

□ Carefully lift the fan motor assembly (B) and hang it on
the hook of the mounting plate (A) by using one of the
holes at the outer rim of the motor housing, ensuring
that it is securely suspended.
□ Connect the wiring to your fan as outlined in Step 3:

WARNING: Each wire nut supplied with this fan is
designed to accept up to one 12-gauge house wire
and two wires from the fan. If you have larger than
12-gauge house wiring or more than one house wire
to connect to the fan wiring, consult an electrician
for the proper size wire nuts to use.
IMPORTANT: Use the wire connecting nuts (BB)
supplied with your fan. Secure the connectors
with electrical tape and ensure there are no loose
strands or connections.
□ Spread the wires apart so that the green and white wires
are on one side of the outlet box and the black wire is on
the other side.
□ Connect the GREEN wires from the fan and recceiver to the
household GROUND wire (this may be a green or bare wire)
using a wire connecting nut (BB).
□ Connect the receiver (F) BLACK wire to the household
BLACK (hot) wire using a wire connecting nut (BB).
□ Connect the receiver (F) WHITE wire to the household
WHITE wire (neutral) using a wire connecting nut (BB).
□ Secure each wire connecting nut using electrical tape.

Installing the receiver
□ Position the house supply wires to one side of the slide on mounting plate (A) and the fan wires to the
opposite side.
□ Connect the receiver to the fan wires by inserting the molded adapter plug from the fan motor assembly
(B) into the receiver (F).
□ Place the receiver (G) inside the fan motor assembly (B) as shown, with the at side facing the ceiling.

WARNING: To reduce the risk of re or electric shock, remember to disconnect
power. The electrical wiring must meet all local and national electrical code
requirements. The electrical source and fan must be 110/120 volts, 60Hz. Do
not use this product in conjunction with any variable wall control. Incorrect wire
connection can damage this receiver.
CAUTION: If other fan wires are a different color, have this unit installed by a
licensed electrician.

□ Loosen but don’t remove the other two screws (NN) from
the top of the mounting plate (A).
□ Align the two key slots in the top of the fan motor assembly
(B) with the two loosened screws (NN) on the mounting
plate (A). Push the fan motor assembly (B) up and turn it
clockwise to lock in the mounting plate (A). Tighten the two
screws.
□ Install the two screws that were removed at the beginning of
the step 1 into the remaining two holes and tighten the four
screws rmly.

□ Attach a blade (C) to the fan motor assembly (B) by inserting
the blade (C) into slots in the side of the fan motor assembly
(B) and aligning the three screws holes in the blade with the
holes in the center ywheel and secure with blade attachment
screws (AA).
□ Make sure all the screws are rmly tightened.
□ Repeat these steps for the remaining blades.
NOTE: Your fan blades are reversible. Select the
blade side nish which best accentuates your decor.

□ Place the shatter resistant shade (E) into the light kit
assembly (D), aligning the three at areas on the top of
the ange of the shatter resistant shade (E) with the three
raised dimples in the light kit assembly (D) Turn the shade
clockwise until it stops.
WARNING: Do not overtighten when installing the shatter
resistant shade into the light kit. Allow the shade to cool
completely before removing.

□ Remove one screw (OO) from the black bracket located
below the fan motor assembly (B), and loosen the other two
screws without removing them.
□ Push the light kit assembly (D) up to the fan motor assembly
(B). Pull the wires from the motor assembly through the
center hole of the light kit assembly and connect the adapter
to the LED, ensuring a secure t.
□ Then, align the two loosened screw heads with the keyhole
slots of the light kit assembly (D).
□ Turn the light kit assembly (D) in a clockwise direction.
□ Reinstall the screw (OO) that was removed in the rst step.
Ensure that all the screws are rmly tightened.

well, please adjust the wire and tuck it into the motor
assembly, or the extra wire may block the light .

Assembly - Attaching the Accessories
Mounting the remote control holder
□ Position the wall cradle in the desired position and attach
it to the wall using the included wall cradle anchors and
screws.
NOTE: Screw wall anchors are included for extra
support. The included screws are designed to
screw easily into the wall. If you would like a more
permanent or secure hold, install the wall anchors
prior to attaching the wall cradle to the wall.
Preparing the remote control
□ Conrm that the power to the fan is off at either the wall switch or breaker box.
□ Remove the battery cover by pressing rmly on the arrow and sliding the cover off.
□ Install two 1.5V AAA batteries (I).
□ Return power to the fan at the wall switch or breaker box.
□ If the remote control doesn’t work as normal, press then release the “Learn” button for
1-2 seconds (located in the remote’s battery compartment) within 30 seconds of turning
on the power.
□ If pairing is successful, the fan’s light kit will ash and the blades will begin to spin.
□ Replace the battery cover on the remote control.
1 to 3 mode
□ To use more than one remote control for your fan, press the “Learn” button for 10 seconds and
release within 30 seconds of turning on the power. Once pairing is successful, the fan’s light
kit will ash and the blades will begin to spin.
□ Repeat the above process for the remote controls you want to work with this fan.
□ The fan can be only controlled by 3 remote controls maximum at the same time after “Learning”.
If you use a fourth remote control to handle the fan, the rst remote control will be replaced.
1 to 1 mode
□ To use only one remote control for your fan, press and release the “Learn” button for 1-2
seconds within 30 seconds of turning on the power. The “1 to 3” mode will be cleared and
returned back to “1 to 1” mode.
NOTE: The remote control has already been paired to the
ceiling fan for your convenience. If you have two of the same
model fans in your home, please follow the steps below to
control each fan independently.
NOTE: The remote control battery will weaken with age and
should be replaced before leaking takes place, as this will
damage the remote control. Dispose of used battery properly
and keep the battery out of the reach of children.

Press and release the fan button to turn the fan on or off.
Press and release 1 : turns the fan speed to 1.
Press and release 2 : turns the fan speed to 2.
Press and release 3 : turns the fan speed to 3.
Press and release 4 : turns the fan speed to 4.
Press and release 5 : turns the fan speed to 5.
Press and release 6 : turns the fan speed to 6.
LIGHT ON/OFF
Press and release the button to turn the light on or off.
Press and hold the (+) button to brighten light to the desired level.
Press and hold the (-) button to dim light to the desired level.
TIMER
Pressing the timer button will automatically turn the fan off after
2, 4, or 8 hours (depending on button pressed).
Holding the timer button for 3 seconds will cancel this function.
COMFORT BREEZE
TM
Press and release the Comfort BreezeTM button to simulate an
outdoor breeze.
To cancel this feature, press and hold the Comfort BreezeTM button
for 3 seconds, or press speed button
FAN REVERSE
Press and release the fan reverse button to reverse the rotation of
your ceiling fan.
COLOR TEMPERATURE ADJUSTMENT
Push and release the button to cycle through the three color
temperature options.
Option 1: 2700K (Warm White).
Option 2: 3000K (Soft White).
Option 3: 5000K (Daylight).
Operating Your Fan and Remote Control
POWER ON/OFF
Press and release the power button to turn the fan and light on or off.
Warm weather (Forward) - A downward airow creates a cooling
effect. This allows you to set your air conditioner on a higher setting
without affecting your comfort.
Cool weather (Reverse) - An upward airow moves warm air off of
the ceiling. This allows you to set your heating unit on a lower setting
without affecting your comfort.
NOTE: The fan must be on and rotating prior to pressing
the winter or summer button. The fan will not reverse
direction if the fan is not moving.
NOTE: The default temperature of the ceiling fan light
is 3000K (Soft White).
NOTE: On start up your ceiling fan will oscillate back
and forth. This is NORMAL OPERATION for DC ceiling fans
as it goes through its calibration cycle. The fan is NOT
DEFECTIVE.

□ Because of the fan’s natural movement, some connections may become loose. Check the support connections, brackets, and blade
attachments twice a year. Make sure they are secure. It is not necessary to remove the fan from the ceiling.
□ Clean your fan periodically to help maintain its new appearance over the years. Do not use water when cleaning, as this could damage
the motor, or the wood, or possibly cause an electrical shock. Use only a soft brush or lint-free cloth to avoid scratching the nish.
□ You can apply a light coat of furniture polish to the wood for additional protection and enhanced beauty. Cover small scratches with a
light application of shoe polish.
□ You do not need to oil your fan. The motor has permanently-lubricated sealed ball bearings.
WARNING: Make sure the power is off
before cleaning your fan.

Problem Solution
The fan will not start. □ Check the main and branch circuit fuses or breakers.
□ Check to make sure the wall switch is in the on position if applicable.
□ Check the line wire connections to the fan and switch wire connections in the switch housing.
□ Check the battery in the transmitter.
□ Ensure you are in the normal range of 10-20 feet.
□ Remember to turn off the power supply before checking the dip switches settings.
The fan is noisy. □ Ensure all motor housing screws are snug.
□ Ensure the screws that attach the fan blade bracket to the motor hub are tight.
□ Ensure the wire nut connections are not rattling against each other or the interior wall of the switch housing.
□ Allow a 24-hour “breaking in” period. Most noises associated with a new fan disappear during this time.
□ If you are using the ceiling fan light kit, ensure the screws securing the glassware are tight. Check that the
light bulbs are also secure.
□ Ensure the canopy is a short distance from the ceiling. It should not touch the ceiling.
□ Ensure your outlet box is secure and rubber isolator pads were used between the mounting plate and outlet
box.
The fan wobbles. □ Check that all blade and blade arm screws are secure.
□ Most fan wobble problems are caused when blade levels are unequal. Check this level by selecting a point on
the ceiling above the tip of one of the blades. Measure from a point on the center of each blade to the point
on the ceiling. Rotate the fan until the next blade is positioned for measurement. Repeat for each blade. Any
measurement deviation should be within 1/8 inch. Run the fan for ten minutes. If the fan continues to wobble
please contact customer service and a balancing kit will be sent to you at no charge.
The fan moves backwards
and forwards when turned
on.
□ This is normal start-up procedure for DC motor fans. The partial movement during start-up is the result of
the DC motor aligning the internal magnetic poles for proper motor operation. This design saves electricity
and allows the fan to operate much quieter than standard AC motor fans.

OPCIONES DE MONTAJE
ADVERTENCIA: Para reducir el riesgo de incendio, descarga eléctrica
o lesiones personales, instala solo en una caja eléctrica clasicada
como “Apropiada para sostener ventiladores de 35 lb (15.9 kg) o
menos” y usa los tornillos que vienen con ella. Las cajas eléctricas
utilizadas comúnmente para el soporte de lámparas pueden no
servir como soporte de ventilador y tal vez deban reemplazarse. En
caso de duda, consulta a un electricista calicado.
Si tu ventilador de techo no tiene una caja de montaje aprobada por UL, instálala siguiendo las
instrucciones a continuación:
□ Desconecta la energía retirando los fusibles o apagando los cortacircuitos.
□ Asegura la caja eléctrica directamente a la estructura de la edicación. Usa sujetadores y

Cómo colgar el conjunto del
motor del ventilador
□ Levante con cuidado el conjunto del motor del
ventilador (B) y cuélguelo del gancho de la placa de
montaje (A) utilizando uno de los oricios del borde
exterior de la carcasa del motor, asegurándose de que
quede bien sujeto.
□ Conecte el cableado al ventilador como se indica en el
Paso 4: Conexiones eléctricas.

□ Retire y guarde los dos tornillos (NN) de los oricios
redondos y conserve las piezas. Desconecte la
alimentación.
□ Aoje los dos tornillos de montaje (GG) que vienen con la
caja de salida (K, no incluida), pero no los retire.
□ Fije rmemente la placa de montaje (A) a la caja de salida
(K) deslizándola sobre los dos tornillos de montaje (GG)
que vienen con la caja de salida (K).
□ Extraiga los cables de alimentación de 120 voltios (negro,
blanco y tierra) de la caja de salida (K) a través del oricio
de la placa de montaje (A) y, a continuación, déjelos a un

conectar al cableado del ventilador, consulta a un
electricista para saber el tamaño adecuado de las
tuercas a usar para los cables.
IMPORTANTE: Usa las tuercas de conexión de
cables (BB) que vienen con tu ventilador. Sujeta los
conectores con cinta de electricista y asegúrate de
que no haya conexiones ni cables sueltos.
□ Separe los cables de modo que los cables verde y blanco
queden a un lado de la caja de tomacorriente y el cable
negro al otro.
□ Conecte los cables VERDES del ventilador y del receptor al
cable de TIERRA de la casa (puede ser verde o pelado) con
una tuerca de conexión (BB).
□ Conecte el cable NEGRO del receptor (F) al cable NEGRO
(fase) de la casa con una tuerca de conexión (BB).
□ Conecte el cable BLANCO del receptor (F) al cable BLANCO
(neutro) de la casa con una tuerca de conexión (BB).
□ Asegure cada tuerca de conexión con cinta aislante.

Cómo instalar el receptor

ADVERTENCIA: Para reducir el riesgo de incendio o
descarga eléctrica, recuerda desconectar la electricidad.
El cableado eléctrico tiene que cumplir todos los requisitos
de los códigos eléctricos nacionales y locales. La fuente
de energía y el ventilador tienen que ser de 110/120 V y 60
Hz. No utilizar este producto con ningún control variable de
pared. Conectar el cableado de manera incorrecta dañará
este receptor.
PRECAUCIÓN: Si otros cables del ventilador son de color
diferente, un electricista certicado deberá instalar esta
unidad.
□ Coloque los cables de alimentación de la casa a un lado
de la corredera de la placa de montaje (A) y los cables del
ventilador al lado opuesto.
□ Conecte el receptor a los cables del ventilador insertando
el enchufe adaptador moldeado del conjunto del motor del
ventilador (B) en el receptor (F).
□ Coloque el receptor (F) dentro del conjunto del motor del
ventilador (B) como se muestra, con el lado plano hacia el
techo.

□ Aoje, pero no retire, los otros dos tornillos (NN) de la

del motor del ventilador (B) hacia arriba y gírelo en
sentido horario para jarlo en la placa de montaje (A).
Apriete los dos tornillos.
□ Coloque los dos tornillos que retiró al principio del paso
1 en los dos oricios restantes y apriete rmemente los
cuatro tornillos.

Fijación de las aspas del ventilador al conjunto del motor

□ Conecte un aspa (C) al conjunto del motor del
ventilador (B). Para ello, inserte el aspa (C) en las
ranuras laterales del conjunto del motor del ventilador
(B) y alinee los tres oricios para tornillos con los
oricios del volante central. Asegúrelo con los tornillos
de jación (AA).
□ Asegúrese de que todos los tornillos estén bien
apretados.
□ Repita estos pasos con las aspas restantes.
NOTA: Las aspas de tu ventilador son reversibles.
Elige el acabado del aspa por el lado que mejor
resalte tu decoración.

□ Coloque la pantalla resistente a roturas (E) en el conjunto del
kit de iluminación (D), alineando las tres áreas planas en la
parte superior de la brida de la pantalla resistente a roturas
(E) con las tres hendiduras elevadas en el conjunto del kit de
iluminación (D). Gire la pantalla en el sentido de las agujas
del reloj hasta que se detenga.
ADVERTENCIA: No apriete demasiado al instalar la pantalla
resistente a roturas en el kit de iluminación. Deje que la
pantalla se enfríe completamente antes de retirarla.
□ Retire un tornillo (OO) del soporte negro ubicado debajo del
conjunto del motor del ventilador (B) y aoje los otros dos
tornillos sin quitarlos.
□ Empuje el conjunto del kit de iluminación (D) hasta el
conjunto del motor del ventilador (B). Pase los cables del
conjunto del motor a través del oricio central del conjunto
del kit de iluminación y conecte el adaptador al LED,
asegurándose de que quede bien sujeto.
□ Luego, alinee las dos cabezas de los tornillos aojados con
las ranuras del conjunto del kit de iluminación (D).
□ Gire el conjunto del kit de iluminación (D) en sentido horario.
□ Vuelva a colocar el tornillo (OO) que retiró en el primer paso.

Montaje del soporte del control remoto
NOTA: Se incluyen anclajes de pared con tornillos para
soporte adicional. Los tornillos incluidos están diseñados
para atornillarse fácilmente en la pared. Si deseas una
sujeción más permanente o segura, instala los anclajes de
pared antes de jar el soporte de pared a la pared.
Cómo preparar el control remoto
□ Conrma que la electricidad del ventilador está cortada en el interruptor de pared o en la
caja del cortacircuitos.
□ Quita la cubierta de la batería presionando con rmeza sobre la echa y deslizando la
cubierta hasta liberarla.
□ Instalar dos baterías AAA de 1.5 V (I).
□ Conecta la electricidad al ventilador usando el interruptor de pared o la caja del cortacircuitos.
□ Si el control remoto no funciona normalmente, presiona y luego suelta el botón “Learn"
durante 1-2 segundos, ubicado en el compartimiento de la batería del control remoto, dentro
de los 30 segundos posteriores al encendido.
□ Si la conguración es exitosa, el kit de luces del ventilador parpadeará y las aspas
comenzarán a girar.
□ Coloca de nuevo la cubierta en el control remoto.
Modo 1 a 3
□ Para usar más de un control remoto para tu ventilador, presiona el botón “Learn" durante
10 segundos y suéltalo a los 30 segundos de encender la electricidad. Si la conguración
es exitosa, el kit de luces del ventilador parpadeará y las aspas comenzarán a girar.
□ Repite el proceso anterior para los controles remotos que deseas que funcionen con este
ventilador.
□ El ventilador solo se puede controlar con un máximo de 3 controles remotos al mismo
tiempo después del usar el botón “Learn”. Si utilizas un cuarto de control remoto para
manejar el ventilador, el primer control remoto será reemplazado.
Modo 1 a 1
□ Para usar solo un control remoto para tu ventilador, presiona y suelta el botón “Learn"
durante 1-2 segundos a los 30 segundos de encender la electricidad.. El modo “1 a 3” se
borrará y volverá al modo “1 a 1”
NOTA: El control remoto ya ha sido congurado con el ventilador
de techo para tu conveniencia. Si tienes dos ventiladores
del mismo modelo en tu hogar, sigue los pasos de abajo para
controlar cada ventilador por separado.
NOTA: La batería del control remoto se debilitará con el tiempo y
deberá ser reemplazada antes de que se produzca alguna fuga,
ya que esto dañará el control remoto. Mantén la batería fuera del
alcance de los niños y deséchala adecuadamente tras agotarse.

AJUSTE DE LA TEMPERATURA DE COLOR
Presione y suelte el botón para recorrer las tres opciones de

Opción 1: 2700 K (Blanco cálido).

NOTA: El ventilador debe estar encendido y girando antes

El ventilador no enciende. □ Verica los fusibles o cortacircuitos principales y secundarios.
□ Asegúrate de que el interruptor de pared esté en posición de encendido (ON), si corresponde.
□ Verica las conexiones de los cables al ventilador y las conexiones a la caja del interruptor.
□ Revisa la batería del transmisor.
□ Asegúrate de que estén en el rango normal de 10 a 20 pies (3 a 6 metros).
□ Recuerda desconectar la electricidad antes de vericar las conguraciones de los interruptores en línea.
El ventilador hace ruido. □ Asegúrate de que todos los tornillos de la carcasa del motor estén ajustados.
□ Verica que los tornillos que unen el soporte de aspa al cubo del motor estén bien apretados.

que las bombillas estén bien apretadas.
□ Controla que la cubierta quede a corta distancia del techo. No debe tocar el techo.
□ Asegúrate de que la caja eléctrica quede bien ajustada y se hayan instalado almohadillas aislantes de goma entre la placa
de montaje y la caja eléctrica.
El ventilador oscila. □ Verica que todas las aspas y los tornillos de sus brazos estén bien ajustados.
□ La mayoría de los problemas de oscilación del ventilador se debe a que las aspas no están al mismo nivel. Verica
este nivel seleccionando un punto en el techo sobre la punta de una de las aspas. Mide desde un punto en el centro de
cada aspa al punto en el techo. Gira el ventilador hasta que la siguiente aspa quede en posición para medir. Repite el
procedimiento para cada aspa. Las desviaciones de la medición no deben pasar de 1/8” (0.3 cm) Deja que el ventilador
funcione durante diez minutos. Si el ventilador continúa oscilando, comunícate con el servicio al cliente y te enviarán un
kit de compensación de aspas, sin costo alguno.

□ Este es el procedimiento normal de arranque para ventiladores con motor de CC. El movimiento parcial durante el
arranque se deba a que el motor de CC está alineando los polos magnéticos internos para su funcionamiento adecuado.
Este diseño ahorra electricidad y permite que el ventilador funcione más silenciosamente que los ventiladores estándar
con motores de CA.
□ Debido al movimiento natural del ventilador, algunas conexiones pueden aojarse. Revisa dos veces al año las conexiones de soporte,
los soportes y los accesorios de las aspas. Comprueba que estén seguros. No es necesario desmontar el ventilador del techo.
□ Hay que limpiar el ventilador con frecuencia para que luzca como nuevo al paso de los años. No usar agua para limpiarlo. Esto puede
dañar el motor o la madera e incluso provocar una descarga eléctrica. Usa sólo un cepillo suave o un paño sin pelusas para evitar
arañar el acabado.
□ Puedes aplicar a la madera una na capa de pulimento para muebles y dar así más protección y belleza. Cubre los rayones diminutos
con una ligera aplicación de lustrador para calzado.
□ No necesitas lubricar tu ventilador. El motor tiene cojinetes de bola sellados y permanentemente lubricados.
ADVERTENCIA: Asegura que la fuente de corriente
está apagada antes de limpiar el ventilador.
Mantenimiento y limpieza
