Introduction
The BG-8K-DA14A-G2 is a high-performance 8K HDMI 1x4 Splitter designed to
transmit a single HDMI source to up to four display devices simultaneously.
Compliant with HDMI 2.1 and HDCP 2.3, this splitter ensures seamless
compatibility with the latest AV equipment while delivering ultra-high-definition video
at resolutions up to 8K@60Hz and 4K@120Hz. With support for advanced video and
audio features such as HDR10+, Dolby Vision, VRR, ALLM, and DTS-HD Master
Audio, this splitter is an ideal solution for home theaters, gaming setups, and
professional AV environments.
This device supports 48 Gbps FRL and 18 Gbps TMDS video bandwidth, ensuring
smooth and lag-free signal transmission. Additionally, it features auto downscaling
and EDID management, allowing compatibility with a wide range of display devices
by automatically adjusting resolutions as needed. The splitter also includes audio
de-embedding, enabling extraction of audio signals via optical S/PDIF and analog
L/R outputs for flexible sound system integration. Built with a durable metal
enclosure, the 8K HDMI 1x4 Splitter guarantees longevity and reliability in

Auto Downscaling & Conversion
This 1x2 splitter features automatic downscaling and format conversion on all outputs.
Before downscaling, it analyzes the EDID data from all connected display devices and
selects the lowest supported resolution to ensure optimal compatibility. For example:
Note: If the source resolution is downscaled and converted to 1080P DVI according to the
EDID of display devices, it will be output without sound on the TV.
Downscaling will not work in the following conditions:
1. The input source is 8K DSC format.
2. The resolution of the input source is not supported by the splitter.
