USING YOUR STAND MIXER
1. Place the stand mixer on a flat, dry, level surface such as a table or
countertop.
2. Remove splash guard.
3. Lift up the mixer tilt release lever and raise the mixer head upwards until it
locks into place.
4. Unlock the mixing bowl (turn the bowl counter-clockwise) and place your
ingredients into the mixing bowl. Place the stainless steel bowl onto the
locking recess and lock into place (as explained on page 7).
5. Insert the flat beater, dough hook, or whisk in the attachment shaft
(asexplained on page 7)
6. Lower the mixer head by lifting up the mixer tilt release lever and gently
easing down.
7. Slide the splash guard onto the top of the mixing bowl
8. Plug cord into a working outlet.
9. Once your ingredients are placed in the bowl, start mixing on the lowest
speed setting and gradually work up to a faster speed to prevent splashing.
Interrupting the Mixing Process
To stop the stand mixer, simply turn the speed control dial to the OFF (O) position.
This will stop the rotation. Remove the splash guard and lift the mixer from the
mixing bowl by lifting up the tilt release lever and lift the mixer upwards. This will
allow the batter to drip directly into the bowl. You may now scrape the sides of the
bowl or add more ingredients. Once ready to resume mixing, lift up the tilt button
to lower the mixer into the bowl and slide in the splash guard back onto the top of
the mixing bowl.
WARNING: NEVER operate the Stand Mixer when the Mixer is in
the Tilt position.
CAUTION: To prolong the life of the stand mixer, avoid getting
flour into the air vents. Do not use the mixer for more than 5
minutes consecutively. After 5 minutes of use, allow the stand
mixer to rest for a few minutes before resuming mixing.
10. Once all the ingredients have reached the desired consistency, turn the speed
control dial to OFF (O) and unplug the mixer from the outlet.
11. Remove the splash guard. Lift up the tilt release lever and raise the mixer to
allow any excess ingredients to drip off the beater or dough hook.

12. Gently scrape any excess ingredients from the flat beater, whisk or dough
hook with a silicone spatula. Do not strike the flat beater, whisk or dough
hook against the stainless steel bowl to remove excess ingredients as this
could damage the bowl or the flat beater, whisk or dough hook.
13. Unlock the mixing bowl and carefully remove it from the rotating plate. Pour
ingredients from the bowl into desired container.
CLEANING YOUR STAND MIXER
Be sure mixer is unplugged before cleaning. Remove mixing bowl, dough hook,
flat beater, whisk and splash guard from mixer. Wash in warm soapy water. Dry
thoroughly. The mixer body and stand may be wiped clean with a damp cloth.
Caution: Do not immerse the cord, plug, mixer body or stand in
water or other liquid.
