To remove impurities and stains and ensure long-lasting use, follow the instructions below for optimal cleanliness.
When using the product for the first time, fine particles (abrasives) may come off the inner pot surface.
Before use, thoroughly clean the inner pot using the method below until no abrasive residue or dust remains.
※ Notes on stainless steel care
- Slight discoloration or rainbow-like stains may appear on the stainless inner pot due to minerals in the food during cooking.
This is a normal occurrence and not a product defect. (Rainbow-colored stains that appear on the STAINLESS inner pot during cooking
are a natural phenomenon. They are completely harmless to the human body, so you can use the product with confidence.)
- Leaving salt water or acidic solutions in the stainless inner pot for extended periods may cause discoloration.
- Do not clean or wipe stainless steel parts with bleach or chlorine-based detergents.
- For water scale or rainbow-colored stains, using a sufficient amount of vinegar or lemon juice can help remove them.

※ If rice or food is stuck to the inner pot, soak it in warm water for more than 30 minutes before cleaning, or use the "Porridge" function to make cleaning easier.
※ Using the automatic cleaning menus to soak the inner pot may cause residual steam to block the steam outlets due to heating of the inner pot. Therefore, when soaking the

- Use the "HI-P/WHITE QUICK" function only for cooking rice for up to 4 servings.
- "HI-P/WHITE QUICK" may affect the quality of the rice, so it’s best used for less than 4 cups.
- For better taste, soak the rice in water for about 20 minutes before using the quick cooking option.
QUICK
STICKY MULTI
GRAIN RICE
- Selecting "MULTI-GRAIN QUICK" reduces the total cooking time. (It takes about 25 minutes to cook multi-grain rice for 1
serving.)
- "MULTI-GRAIN QUICK" may affect the quality of the rice, so it’s best used for cooking less than 4 cups.
- After cooking in High Pressure QUICK White Rice, QUICK Sticky Multi-Grain Rice, or when cooking small portions, discard any
remaining water.
- For best results, follow the detailed cooking instructions for each menu.
- Do not cook thick or sticky foods, such as jujube porridge, using the “PORRIDGE” menu. It may block the steam outlet and
cause safety issues.
- Only use ingredients recommended in the user manual’s cooking guide.
• Fill the inner pot with water up to the “AUTO CLEAN” water scale line.
• Close the lid and turn the handle to either HIGH PRESSURE or NON PRESSURE mode.
Steps :
1. While in standby mode, press the MODE button until "AUTO CLEAN" is displayed.
2. Press the START button to begin the cleaning process.
※ Press and hold the MODE button for at least 0.3 seconds the first time.

※ Regular use of the Auto Clean function helps keep the steam valve clean.
※ After cleaning, be sure to wipe away any remaining moisture from the Silent Steam
Shield.
You may notice a light brown or golden color at the bottom of the cooked rice. This is normal and results from the cooker enhancing
the rice's flavor and aroma. This natural browning, known as melanoizing, is more noticeable during preset cooking than during
immediate cooking.
※ Mixing other types of rice with white rice may intensify the browning effect.
※ This is not a malfunction.

adjustment is allowed).
※ Be careful not to accidentally switch between AM and PM.
Select a Menu Using the Arrow Buttons and Press the START
Button.
▶ Cooking will begin and complete as scheduled.
(Note: Completion time may vary depending on appliance conditions or rice
quantity.)
▶ Once the preset cook is completed, the time setting is saved in memory.
There’s no need to reconfigure the timer for the same setting.
▶ If a small quantity of rice is cooked, it may finish earlier than the preset time.

ENGLISH
For example, if it’s 9:00 PM and you want warm rice by 7:40 AM the next morning:
1
3
How to Use the Preset Reheating Function
▶
Use this function when cooked rice is not being kept warm in the rice cooker but you still want to enjoy a hot
meal later at your convenience
▶
It takes approximately 100 minutes to fully reheat the rice. Please set the timer at least 100 minutes in
advance of your intended mealtime.
2
4
Ensure the current time is correct
▶ Confirm that the current time is accurately set, so the reheating process ends at
your desired time.
▶ Avoid confusion between AM and PM settings.
Turn the Lock/Unlock Handle to “HIGH PRESSURE” and
press the MODE button to select “REHEAT TIMER”
▶ Hold the MODE button for at least 0.3 seconds the first time.
▶ Each press of the MODE button advances the menu by one step.
▶ Ensure the Lock/Unlock Handle is securely turned to High Pressure mode
before using the “REHEAT TIMER” function.
Use the Arrow Buttons to Set the Desired Completion Time for
Reheating
▶ Press the button to increase the time by 10 minutes with each press.
▶ Press the button to also increase the time by 10 minutes with each press.
▶ Holding down the button will continuously adjust the time.
(Repetitive input is allowed.)
※ Be cautious not to switch between AM and PM unintentionally.
Press the START Button
▶ Reheating will begin and complete as scheduled.
▶ Once reheating is completed with a preset time, that time is saved in the memory.
You do not need to reconfigure it again for future use.

PRECAUTIONS FOR PRESET COOKING / REHEATING
24
Precautions for Preset Cooking / Reheating
In Case of Preset Reheating
▶ Leaving cooked rice at room temperature for extended periods can cause moisture to evaporate.
In such cases, reheating may dry out the rice or cause slight browning (melanoidin).
▶ If the pot contains a large amount of rice, it may not reheat evenly.
It is recommended to reheat portions no larger than for three people (about half of the inner pot).
▶ Reheating cold or frozen rice may result in uneven heating, dryness, or partial burning.
▶ Before reheating cold-stored rice, place it in the pot, loosen it with a scoop, and then start reheating.
▶ Frozen rice should be fully thawed before using the reheating function.
2
Changing the Preset Time
▶ To change the preset time, press and hold the CANCEL button for more than 0.3 seconds, then
restart the process.
3
If the Preset Time Is Outside the Available Range
▶ If the preset time is shorter than the cooking duration, cooking will start immediately.
▶ If the reheating preset time is shorter than the minimum required (100 minutes), reheating will
start immediately.
4
5
In Case of Preset Cooking
▶ If the rice is old and dry, the results may be poor.
▶ If the rice is undercooked, add water up to half the scale to improve the result.
▶ A longer preset time may increase the chance of rice melanoidin (browning).
▶ Rinsed rice contains residual starch, which may cause burning during preset timer cooking.
- To reduce scorching, rinse the rice thoroughly in running water or decrease the cooking quantity.

If the Preset Time Exceeds 13 Hours
▶ “13H” will be displayed, and the preset time will automatically be limited to 13 hours.
Example: If you set the finish time to 7:00 AM the next day, but it’s 5:00 PM on the current day
(preset time = 14 hours), the system will display “13H” and reset the time to 6:00 AM.
(Maximum allowable preset time is 13 hours.)
Additional Notes:
- If the preset time exceeds 13 hours, it may result in spoilage or a bad odor.
- The 13-hour limit helps prevent rice from spoiling, especially during hot weather.
Use the Preset Cooking function for finish times between 1 and 13 hours.
- Use the Preset Reheating function when your finish time falls between 100 minutes and 13 hours.
- Press the START button during preset cooking to check the current time; it will be displayed for 2 seconds.
