1. Control Elements
(1) The DRIVE control adjusts the overall amount of gain and
overdrive, similar to pushing the output section of a tube amp.
(2) The TREBLE control governs the high-frequency range of the
signal (±12 dB).
(3) The BASS control allows you to boost/cut the low-frequency

(7) When activated, the GND LIFT disconnects the ground connection
between input and output. Depending on the grounding of the
connected equipment, this can eliminate hum or ground loops.
(8) Use the footswitch to activate/deactivate all the tone
functions (EQ, DRIVE, tube emulation). When deactivated,
theBDI21 functions solely as a standard transparent DI box.

INPUT. The battery is “disconnected” when the plug is
removed. For this reason, the BDI21 has no on/o switch.
To prolong battery life, always disconnect the input when
the driver is not in use.

y amplias necesidades. La emulación de válvulas integrada produce
el sonido y la respuesta de un amplicador a válvulas para bajo

(6) Al estar activada la separación de masa, GND LIFT, se interrumpe
la conexión a tierra entre entrada y salida. Dependiendo de los
equipos, esto puede eliminar zumbidos y bucles de masa.
(7) El pedal te permite activar o desactivar todas las funciones
de sonido (ecualizador, simulación de válvulas/micrófono).

1. Commandes Et Connexions
Commandes
(1) Le potentiomètre DRIVE détermine la préamplication,
autrement dit l’eet Overdrive, comme c’est le cas avec l’étage de
préamplication d’un ampli à lampes.
(2) La commande TREBLE permet d’augmenter ou de réduire le
niveau des aigus (±12 dB).
(3) Le bouton BASS dénit le niveau des basses fréquences du signal
(±12 dB).
(4) Le potentiomètre PRESENCE génère des harmoniques hautes
conférant plus d’attaque et de présence au son.
(5) La commande LEVEL xe le volume de sortie de la BDI21.
(6) Utilise le potentiomètre BLEND pour activer la simulation de
lampe. Elle confère à ta basse le son d’un ampli à tubes repris
par micro.
(7) La touche GND LIFT permet d’interrompre la liaison des masses
entre l’entrée et la sortie. Selon la mise à la terre des équipements
utilisés, cette commande peut supprimer un ronement ou une
boucle de masse.
(8) Utilise le commutateur au pied pour activer ou désactiver
l’ensemble des traitements (égalisation, DRIVE, simulation de
lampe). En mode Bypass, la BDI21 se transforme en boîte de
directstandard.
(9) Cette LED s’allume lorsque l’eet est actif (voir (8)).

(10) L’embase jack 6,3 mm INPUT est conçue pour recevoir le signal de
ta basse ou d’une autre source.
(11) Le connecteur BAL OUT est la sortie symétrique de niveau micro
de la BDI21. Pour son câblage, utilise une liaison symétrique de
bonne qualité montée en XLR.

(13) NUMERO DE SERIE. Tu trouveras le numéro de série de ta BDI21
sur la base de la pédale.
(14) COMPARTIMENT PILE. Retire la plaque de protection pour installer
ou remplacer la pile 9 V (voir chapitre « MISE EN SERVICE »).
◊ ◊ BDI21 est active dès qu’un connecteur occupe
l’entréeINPUT. Autrement dit, la pile est inutilisée tant
que l’entrée reste libre. C’est la raison pour laquelle ta
BDI21 ne possède pas de commutateur Marche/Arrêt.
Pourprolonger la durée de vie de la pile, débranche
le câble relié à l’entrée lorsque que tu n’utilises pas
lapédale.
Connexion secteur
(15) L’embase DC IN sert au branchement d’un bloc d’alimentation 9 V
(non inclus). Pour plus de précisions à ce sujet, consulte le chapitre

qualitative Bass-Driver eignet sich für alle Bassisten mit hohen
Ansprüchen an Sound und Flexibilität. Die integrierte Röhrensimulation
produziert den typischen Klang eines mikrofonierten Röhrenbass-
verstärkers, und mit Hilfe des 2-Band EQs (inklusive Presence-Regelung)
und dem separaten Drive-Regler erzielst Du jeden gewünschten Sound,
von Vintage bis Modern. Zusätzlich kann der BDI21 im Bypass-Modus als
neutrale Standard-DI-Box verwendet werden.
Eine DI-Box ermöglicht es, ein Signal direkt von einer hoch-ohmigen,
unsymmetrischen Leitung abzugreifen. Von dort aus kann man es direkt
in den Mischpulteingang einspeisen, ohne dafür ein Mikrofon benutzen
zu müssen.
Ob auf der Bühne, im Studio, bei der Probe oder zum Üben, Behringer
V-TONE BASS BDI21 ist ein “Muss” für all diejenigen, die mit minimalem
Aufwand maximale Ergebnisse erzielen wollen.
1. Bedienungselemente
Bedienungselemente
(1) Der DRIVE-Regler bestimmt die Vorverstärkung und
somit den Overdrive-Eekt, ähnlich wie die Vorstufe eines
Röhrenverstärkers.
(2) Der TREBLE-Regler erlaubt eine Anhebung/Absenkung der hohen
Frequenzen (±12 dB).
(3) Der BASS-Regler regelt die tiefen Frequenzen des Signals
(±12 dB).
(4) Der PRESENCE-Regler bestimmt den Anteil der hoch frequenten
Obertöne für einen präsenteren Klang und mehr “Attack”.
(5) Der LEVEL-Regler regelt die Ausgangslautstärke des BDI21.
(6) Mit dem BLEND-Regler aktivierst Du die integrierte
Röhrensimulation. Diese verleiht Deinem Bass den Sound eines
mikrofonierten Röhrenbassverstärkers.
(7) Mit dem GND LIFT-Schalter kannst Du die Masse verbindung
zwischen Eingang und Ausgang unterbrechen. Je nachdem,
wie die angeschlossenen Geräte geerdet sind, lassen sich damit
Brummgeräusche oder Masse schleifen verhindern.
(8) Nutze den Fußschalter, um alle klangbeeinussenden Funktionen
(EQ, DRIVE, Röhrensimulation) zu aktivieren/deaktivieren. Im
Bypass-Modus arbeitet die BDI21 als neutrale Standard-DI-Box.
(9) Diese LED leuchtet bei aktiviertem Eekt (siehe (8)).
Anschlüsse
(10) Diese 6,3-mm-Monoklinkenbuchse (INPUT) dient zum Anschluss
Deines Basses oder anderer Signalquellen.
(11) Der BAL OUT-Anschluss ist der symmetrische Ausgang des
BDI21 mit Mikrofonpegel. Der Anschluss ans Mischpult sollte
über ein herkömmliches, symmetrisches XLR-Kabel hoher
Qualitäterfolgen.
(12) Dieser 6,3-mm-Monoklinkenanschluss (OUT) wird mit dem
Eingang Deines Bassverstärkers verbunden.

(13) SERIENNUMMER. Die Seriennummer des BDI21 bendet sich auf
der Unterseite des Geräts.
(14) BATTERIEFACH. Entferne die Abdeckung, um die 9 V
Batterie zu installieren bzw. zu ersetzen (siehe hierzu auch
Kapitel“INBETRIEBNAHME”).
◊ ◊ Sobald die INPUT-Buchse belegt wird, ist der BDI21
aktiviert. Bei herausgezogenem Stecker wird die Batterie
nicht mehr beansprucht. Daher besitzt der BDI21 keinen
On/O-Schalter. Wenn das Gerät nicht benutzt wird,
sollte daher der Stecker herausgezogen werden, um
Batteriestrom zu sparen.
Netzanschluss
(15) Die DC IN-Buchse dient zum Anschluss eines 9 V-Adapters
(nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten). Weitere Angaben hierzu
ndest Du in Kapitel “INBETRIEBNAHME”.
2. Sicherheitshinweise
Betreibe das Gerät nicht in der Nähe von Wasser oder
Wärmequellen. Verwende bitte nur autorisiertes Zubehör.
Führe bitte keinerlei Reparaturen am Gerät eigenständig durch.
