INSTRUCTIONS
IMPORTANT: PRODUCT MUST BE GROUNDED.
WARNING: INPROPER CONNECTION OF THE EQUIPMENT GROUNDING CONDUCTOR CAN
RESULT IN A RISK OF ELECTRIC SHOCK!
Insert the grounded Power Supply Cord into a grounded outlet.
Connect Hose to end of “Y” shaped extension.
Accessories can be connected to the Hose end.
To turn machine on, flip the toggle switch from Off to On one at a time.
o Motors can be used independently or simultaneously for maximum power.
*If you prefer using the motors independently, we recommended switching
between the two regularly, as to have even wear on the carbon brushes.
o The two motors allow you to set the airflow and temperature at two different levels.
SERVICE
Normal maintenance, such as Motor Brush replacement, should be changed approximately every
500 Hours of use.
Brushes should be checked between 200-250 hour intervals.

Filter life is dependent on use. Check and replace when required.

Carbon Brushes – ABC-3 (ONLY FOR 110 VOLTS)
Replacing carbon brushes (should be changed after about 500 hours of use):
1. Remove front endcap.
2. Find wire going to carbon brush and use flathead screwdriver to loosen tab.
3. Use Philips screwdriver to remove carbon brush mounting bracket.
4. Install tab into new carbon brush and replace mounting bracket.
Replacing / Cleaning Filter (Filter MVC-56F):
1. Pull out filter from backend and replace with new or shake out.
a. You can rinse the filter and reuse, BUT IT MUST BE COMPLETELY DRY BEFORE
PUTTING BACK INTO THE MACHINE.
b. Replace it with a new filter after 3 rinses.
MOUNTING PLATE INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS FOR TT-2X4
TT-2X4 (AF TWIN TURBO SUPER HV DRYER) conveniently mounts to the wall. Make sure the dryer is
mounted securely with Mollies or Wall Anchors. Playwood can also be used to properly mount the dryer to
the wall.
Please refer to the drawing below for measurements (drawing not to the scale) to align the mounting
hardware properly to the wall. Make sure the dryer is mounted securely.

HANDLE THE WEIGHT AND PULLING THAT MIGHT OCCUR DURING THE NORMAL USAGE OF THIS
PRODUCT. METROVAC WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR DRYERS THAT ARE DAMAGED AS A
RESULT OF IMPROPER BRACKET MOUNTING.

DO NOT DROP THIS APPLIANCE. MOTOR MALFUNCTION CAUSED BY PRODUCT BEING DROPPED
IS NOT COVERED UNDER WARRANTY.
WARRANTY:
This machine carries a Five Year Limited* Warranty.
The Five Year Warranty includes the unit and the motor.*
There is also a One Year Warranty* on Parts, Switches, and Cords.
This warranty covers any defects in materials or workmanship, including installation, with the exceptions
stated below:
*MetroVac will repair or replace any defective or malfunctioning part* at no charge. If the machine
is not repairable, it will be replaced.
*Mechanical alterations made to the machine will void the warranty.
*Warranty does not cover carbon brushes, carbon brush wear, filters, or general maintenance.
*The warranty does not cover physical damage made to the machine from tampering with or
attempting to take the appliance apart, improper electrical connections, or water damage.
*Customer is responsible for shipping charges to and from our facility.
***Even if the product is beyond the warranty period, we suggest you send the unit back to our
factory for expert repairs and maintenance at reasonable rates. Please click the following link to

Turn off controls before unplugging.
Use extra care when cleaning on stairs.
Do not use to pick up flammable or combustible liquids such as gasoline or use in areas where
they may be present.
To avoid electric shock, do not use it on wet surfaces, do not expose to rain; store indoors.

To reduce the risk of electric shock, this appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than
the other). This plug will fit into an outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. Do
not change the plug in any way.
