FUNCTION: The built-in solar panel converts sunlight into electricity. The rechargeable battery stores the
energy and converts the power into light for use during the night. The lighting hours of the solar light
depends on the geographical location and weather condition. Stronger or longer exposure to sunlight
enables the battery to store more energy and provide longer lighting hours.
LOCATION: It is important to select an outdoor location with full, direct sunlight where the solar panel can
receive at least 8 hours of sunlight each day. Shady areas will not enable the battery to be fully charged. This will
reduce the lighting hours at night. It is also important to avoid placing the solar light by other light sources, such as
street or porch lamps, which may cause the solar light to turn off automatically.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE:
Please use a damp cloth to clean the solar panel. Do not use any chemical or
abrasive cleaner. It is important to ensure that no moisture enters into the solar light. Replacement parts may be
ordered by using the fixture model number and part's name; call the phone number located at the top and bottom
of this instruction manual.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERY: This product contains (1) 600mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery
per light. When the battery expires, it must be recycled or disposed of properly. Please contact
your local waste disposal authority for correct procedure. Do not put battery into fire.

After assembling, take the light to direct sunshine that allows the rechargeable battery to reach its maximum capacity.
Ensure the light is in full sunlight for 8 hours. The unit will then automatically light up at dusk.
Note: Lights with crystalline panels may have a protective film over the solar panel. This must be removed prior to use.
CHANGING BATTERIES
1 Twist and open the top.
2 Open the battery cover and replace the old battery with a new battery making sure the polarity is correct.
Storage tips:
During prolonged storage, the solar light must be fully discharged and
charged once every month or must be replaced with a new rechargeable
battery when ready for use. For best performance and longer battery life,
do not store prolonged periods.
MORE TIPS:
● For first time use, let the solar light charge for a full sunny day for the
rechargeable battery to operate properly. Allow at least 10 days and nights
of charging and discharging for the battery to charge to its full capacity.
● If there has been no sunlight during the day, the battery will not be recharged
for operation at night. If the solar light does not receive enough sunlight one
day, it will recharge the next sunny day and resume normal operation.
● The selected location should not be near strong lighting sources such as streetlights or garden lights. This may cause the light
to turn off automatically as there is a sensor inside the solar light switches off the light once it senses any lighting source.
● Store the solar light where it can receive some sunlight or room light each day, as the battery needs light to maintain a charge
during storage. Do not store the solar light in a place where without a source of light as this will damage the battery and prevent
its ability to hold a charge.
● During prolonged storage, the solar light must be fully discharged and charged once every month or must be replaced with a
new rechargeable battery when ready for use. For best performance and longer battery life, do not store prolonged periods.
● Make sure the solar panel is not dirty as this will not allow the battery to full recharge. Clean regularly with a dampened cloth
or paper towel.
The light does not come on at night:
Make sure solar panel is clean and free of dirt and debris. If needed use a damp cloth to clean the solar panel. Do not use any
chemical or abrasive cleaner. It is important to ensure that no moisture enters into the solar light.
TROUBLESHOOTING
Make sure the strip had removed and the power switch is at the "ON" or “FLASH” position.
Check the rechargeable battery and make sure that it is in contact to the metal plate and the polarity is correct. If the battery is
worn out, replace the battery with a AA 600mAh Ni-MH rechargeable battery.
Always keep the solar light distant from other night light sources, such as exterior lights. Reposition the light to avoid close
contact with other night light sources.
