Setup:
1. The shredder and wastebasket housing come pre-assembled.
2. Slide the wastebasket fully into the wastebasket housing.
3. Plug the power cord into any standard 230-volt AC outlet.
4. Press the Power Button.The Power LED should light up.
Operating the shredder :
If the wastebasket is not inserted properly into the shredder, the green ready
light will not light up and the shredder will not run. With the power cord
plugged in and the wastebasket properly in place, the green ready light will be
on. When the paper is inserted into the feed opening, the shredding process
will start automatically and stop when the paper has completed its travel
through the feed opening. The machine power button is located on the top of
the shredder. Also located on top of the shredder are two function buttons.
Their purposes are:
1. When the fwd button is pressed, the shredding process will start. However,
the forward shred cycle lasts 2 seconds. This will allow the feed opening to be
cleared in the event excess paper is left in the shredder.
2. The rev button is used to assist in the removal of a paper jam, which
reverses the shredding process prior to a completed forward cycle, thus
clearing the cutters.The reverse cycle will last for 2 seconds. This should be

Cautions
1. Keep all loose articles of clothing, ties, jewelry, hair, or other small items
away from the feed opening to prevent injury.
2. Keep the shredder turned off or unplugged when not in use for prolonged
periods of time.
3. Remove all paper clips and staples from paper before shredding. The
machine will cut staples; however, it is not recommended.
4. Do not place hands or ngers into the shredder throat as serious injury
could result.
5. When manually changing feed direction, pause long enough for the motoor
to stop.
6. Continuous shredding paper should not exceed 20 minutes. If continuous
use is required at the maximum sheet capacity(18 sheets), it is recommend
that shredding time should be 20 minutes on and 40 minutes off to allow for
proper cooling of the motor.
7. Always turn off or unplug the shredder prior to moving, cleaning or emptying
the wastebasket.

Shredder capacity:
The machine will shred up to 18 sheets of paper and will accept paper widths
up to 220 mm. When shredding small material like envelopes or credit card
receipts, insert them in the middle of the feed opening.
Note:
The mechanism should be oiled regular after a certain operating time to
maintain the cutting performance.
This can be easily accomplished if you pour special shredder oil on a sheet of
paper and feed it through the inlet guide to the cutting mechanism

Paper Jams & Motor Overload Situations
The machine is equipped with an automatic motor reversal device and a
motor overload protection circuit. The normal short duty cycle for continuous
shredding at maximum capacity is 20 minutes on and 40 minutes off, The
shredder will either automatically reverse the paper out of the shredder throat
or power may terminate automatically in case of the following abnormal
situations:
1. Operating the shredder at the maximum 18-sheet capacity continuously for
a prolonged period of time, eg. more than 20 minutes without stopping.
2. Exceeding the shredding capacity, eg. Inserting more than 18 sheets of
paper in one pass, or if the paper is not fed squarely into the feed opening.
Both abnormal operations may result in the activation of the automatic reversal
of the paper or the thermal motor overload protection, which terminates the
power to the shredder. A minor paper jam may cause the paper to feed in the
opposite, direction and be ejected from the feed opening. A major paper jam
could cause the thermal motor overload protection to terminate AC power to
the motor and turn on the Overload light. Never allow the shredder to remain
in a jammed condition with the AC power turned on. If this occurs you should:
In case of a minor paper jam:
The automatic paper reverse feature should eject the minor paper jam from
the feed opening. Remove the unshredded portion of paper from the top and
clear any excess paper shreds from the feed opening .The Overload Light
should go out and normal shredding can resume.
In case of a major paper jam:
1. Turn off or unplug the power cord from the AC outlet and wait at least 40
minutes for the thermal overload protection to reset.
2. Plug in the AC power cord and depress the Power Button. If paper was left
inside the feed opening prior to the overload, grasp the excess paper from the
top and pull it out as you depress the Rev Button. Be careful not to place your
ngers near the feed opening or serious harm could result.
3. You are now ready to resume normal shredding.

Spécifications
Installation :
1.

Instructions d’utilisation :
Si le bac à déchets n’est pas correctement inséré, l’indicateur lumineux vert
ne s’allumera pas et l’appareil ne fonctionnera pas. Dès que l’appareil est
branché et allumé, l’indicateur lumineux vert s’allumera pour indiquer que
l’appareil est prêt à l’utilisation. Lorsque le papier est inséré dans l’ouverture,
la déchiqueteuse démarrera et s’arrêtera lorsque l’ensemble du papier est
passé à travers les lames.
L’interrupteur ainsi que les deux fonctions de l’appareil sont placés au-dessus

Avertissements
1.

Enlevez les trombones et agrafes avant d’insérer le papier à déchiqueter. Cet
appareil peut découper les agrafes mais ceci n’est pas recommandé.

N’insérez pas vos mains ou doigts dans l’appareil en raison des blessures
physiques qui pourraient survenir.
5.
Veuillez patienter jusqu’à ce que le moteur soit arrêté avant de modifier la
direction (marche avant / marche arrière) du moteur.
6.
La déchiqueteuse ne devrait pas être utilisée continuellement pendant plus
de 20 minutes. Si vous devez utiliser la machine à pleine capacité (18 feuilles
à la fois) pendant plus de 20 minutes, veuillez laisser le moteur reposer
pendant 40 minutes après 20 minutes d’utilisation afin de laisser le moteur
refroidir.
7.

Bourrage de papier et surcharge du moteur
Cet appareil est équipé d’une marche arrière automatique et d’un circuit
protégeant t
oute surcharge du moteur. Un cycle normal pour une utilisation
continue devrait être inférieur à 20 minutes suivie d’une période de
refroidissement de 40 minutes. L’appareil peut enclencher la marche arrière
automatiquement ou s’éteindre automatiquement si l’une de ces situations se
présente :
1.
L’appareil est utilisé à pleine capacité, 18 pages à la fois, pendant une période
prolongée sans interruption.
2.
La capacité de déchiquetage est excédée, ceci correspond à l’insertion de plus
de 18 pages de papier à la fois ou si le papier n’est pas correctement inséré dans
l’ouverture.
Ces deux situations pourraient provoquer l’enclenchement de la marche
arrière automatique ou de la protection anti-surcharge du moteur. Un bourrage
simple de papier pourrait provoquer une insertion du papier dans le sens
inverse et sortir ainsi de l’ouverture. Un bourrage important de papier pourrait
provoquer une extinction de l’appareil et l’indicateur lumineux de surcharge
s’allumer. Ne laissez pas l’appareil allumé si l’appareil est bourré et procédez
de la façon suivante :
- En cas de bourrage simple de papier :
La fonction de marche arrière « REV » devrait éjecter tout bourrage mineur
de papier. Retirez le papier non déchiqueté ainsi que tous les débris visibles
depuis l’ouverture. L’indicateur de surcharge devrait s’éteindre et l’appareil
devrait pour être fonctionnel à nouveau.
- En cas de bourrage important de papier :
1. Eteignez l’appareil ou débranchez-le de sa prise électrique. Laissez l’appareil
reposer pendant 40 minutes afin de permettre au circuit de se réinitialiser.
2. Branchez l’appareil puis allumez l’appareil. Tout excédant de papier restant
devrait être retiré ainsi que tout débris visible depuis l’ouverture. Appuyez sur la
touche « REV » afin d’actionner la marche arrière puis retirez le papier bloqué.
Soyez vigilent à ne pas insérer de doigts à l’intérieur à l’ouverture, ceci pourrait
provoquer des blessures graves.
3. Vous pouvez désormais utiliser l’appareil à nouveau.

Eigenschaften
Aufbau:
1.

keinen Betrieb aufnehmen. Wenn Papier in die Zuführöffnung eingeführt wird,
fängt das Zerkleinern automatisch an. Es hört automatisch wieder auf, sobald
das Papier vollständig zerkleinert wurde. Der Ein-/Ausknopf befindet sich auf
der Oberseite des Aktenvernichters. Zusätzlich befinden sich zwei
Funktionsknöpfe auf der Oberseite mit folgenden Funktionen:

1.

Diese Fälle können dazu führen, dass sich die automatische Rückwärtsfunktion

Instalación:

Situaciones del sobrecalentamiento del motor y
atascos de papel

40 minutos de descanso. La destructora invertirá el papel automáticamente
dentro de la trituradora o puede terminar automáticamente por las siguientes
razones:
1. Uso de la destructora a la máxima capacidad de 18 hojas continuamente por
un período prolongado de tiempo, es decir, más de 20 minutos sin parar.
2. Supera la capacidad de trituración de documentos, por ejemplo, más de 18
hojas de papel en un solo ciclo, o si no se inserta correctamente a través de la
ranura.
Ambas operaciones irregulares pueden conducir a la activación del papel

Avvertenze

un circuito di protezione contro il surriscaldamento del motore. Il normale ciclo
di funzionamento continuativo alla massima capacità è di 20 minuti per 40
minuti di riposo. Il distruggi documenti invertirà automaticamente la carta
dentro al trituratore o può terminare automaticamente il funzionamento in
caso si presentino le seguenti situazioni:
1. Utilizzo del distruggi documenti alla massima capacità di 18 fogli in modo
continuo per un periodo prolungato di tempo, ad es. più di 20 minuti senza fermarsi.
2. Eccedere la capacità di triturazione, ad es. Inserimento di più di 18 fogli di carta in

2. Collegare la spina di alimentazione e premere il pulsante di accensione. Se la
carta è stata lasciata all'interno dell’apertura, rimuovere la carta in eccesso dalla
parte superiore e tirarla fuori mentre si tiene premuto il pulsante “Rev”. Fare
attenzione a non mettere le dita vicino all’apertura in quanto potrebbe causare gravi
lesioni.
3. La macchina è ora pronta a riprendere la normale funzione.

a pojemnik prawidłowo zainstalowany wtedy zaświeci się zielona lampka

tworzenia ścinków zostanie zainicjowany automatycznie i zakończy się,
