• It is imperative to unplug the power cord after the appliance has
been used, before it is cleaned and whilst being repaired.
• Repairs to electrical appliances should only be performed by
qualified personnel. Improper repairs may place user at serious
risk.
• DO NOT operate this appliance with a damaged plug or cord,
after a malfunction or after being dropped or damaged in any
way.
• Regular, periodic checks should be carried out on the power
cord to ensure no damage is evident. Should there be any signs
of damage the appliance should not be used.

Description of Parts
Before first use of Your Stick Blender
• Remove all packing materials and discard responsibly.
• Check that all parts are present – See ‘Description of Parts’ above.
• Before using the blender for the first time, wash the Blades (4) in warm soapy
water and dry thoroughly afterwards.
• Do not immerse the Main Body (3) of the blender in water or any other liquids.
WARNING! The blades on this stick blender are very sharp; extreme caution
should be taken whilst cleaning.
• NOT dishwasher safe, do not clean any part of your stick blender in a
dishwasher. Hand wash only.
• Wipe over the Main Body (3) with a damp sponge or cloth.
• Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaners.
Using the Stick Blender
1. Insert the mains plug into the nearest socket.
2. Place the Blades (3) into the food before operating to prevent splattering.
3. Press the On/Off Button (1) to start blending.
4. Press the ‘Turbo’ button (2) to fast blend.
Care and Use of Your Stick Blender
WARNING! The blades are sharp, extreme caution should be taken whilst
cleaning.
• Always disconnect the blender from the mains power supply and remove the
plug from the socket before cleaning.
• Do not immerse the Main Body (3) in water or any other liquids.
• Wipe over the Main Body (3) with a clean damp sponge or cloth.
• Wash the Blades (4) only in warm soapy water and dry thoroughly afterwards.

• Do not use harsh or abrasive scouring pads, powders or cleaners.
• Do not place in a dishwasher.
• Store in a dry cool place away from direct heat or sunlight.
Non-Wireable Mains Plug
If your appliance is supplied with a non-wireable plug fitted to the mains lead and
should the fuse need replacing, you must use an ASTA approved one (conforming
to BS 1362 of the same rating). Never use a plug with the fuse cover missing. If in
doubt, consult a qualified electrician.
If you need to remove the plug – DISCONNECT FROM THE MAINS – and then cut
it off the mains lead and immediately dispose of it safely. Never attempt to reuse
the plug or insert it into a socket outlet as there is a danger of electric shock.
