DO NOT install this appliance outdoors.

Follow all safety instructions for using the appliance safely.
Read this user manual carefully before using the appliance.
This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other). To reduce the risk of electric shock,
this plug will fit in a polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug.
If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not modify the plug in any way (for US models only).
Unplug the appliance immediately after use.
Do not leave the appliance unattended while it is operating.
Unplug the appliance as soon as you have finished using it and before cleaning it.

Keep hands and utensils away from moving blades or discs while processing food to reduce the risk of
severe injury to persons or damage to the food processor. A scraper may be used but must be used only
when the food processor is not running.
Blades are sharp. Handle carefully.
Be certain cover is securely locked in place before operating appliance.
Never feed food by hand. Always use food pusher.
Do not attempt to defeat the cover interlock mechanism.
Do not fill the bowl above the marked maximum fill line (or rated capacity) to avoid risk of injury due to
damage to the cover or bowl.

THE FOOD PROCESSOR IS AN ACCESSORY OF THE HAND BLENDER
Follow all the safety warnings to ensure safe use of the appliance.
Before using the food processor, carefully read this user manual and the user manual supplied with the hand
blender.
Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling
or cleaning.
Do not allow children to use the blender without supervision
Do not use the food processor if the power cord or plug of the hand blender is damaged or if the appliance
has been dropped or damaged in any way. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the
manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard
Make sure the power cord does not come in contact with sharp edges.
Do not pull on the cord to remove the plug from the socket.
Do not use adapters or extension cords.
Do not make any changes to the appliance.
Never try to extinguish a flame/fire with water: turn off the appliance, unplug it from the outlet and cover the
flame with a lid or a fire blanket.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical,
sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or
instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children should not play with the appliance.
Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
Do not allow children to play with the plastic packaging bags.
The use of this appliance is not intended for persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities
or who lack experience and knowledge in using electrical devices, unless they are supervised or instructed
by adults responsible for their safety.
During operation, avoid contact with the moving parts. Keep hands, hair, clothing and tools away from
moving parts during operation to prevent personal injury and/or damage to the appliance.
Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
Do not use to blend oils or greases at high temperatures.
Do not use the hand blender in combination with the food processor continuously for more than 1 minute.
Do not start the hand blender if the food processor bowl is empty.
Do not push the ingredients into the feed chute of the food processor using your fingers or other tools. Use
only the supplied food pusher.
Do not exceed the maximum capacity level of the food processor bowl.
Do not use the food processor in combination with parts or accessories from other manufacturers.
Use only original spare parts from the manufacturer. The use of spare parts not recommended by the
manufacturer may cause fire, electric shock or injury to persons.
Avoid spraying liquids on the motor body and the cord of the hand blender or submerging it. Immediately unplug the
hand blender from the power outlet if it comes into contact with liquids and dry it thoroughly: Risk of electric shock!
Let the food processor cool down before cleaning.
This appliance shall not be used by children. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.
Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply before changing accessories or approaching parts
that move in use.
Be careful if hot liquid is poured into the food processor or blender as it can be ejected out of the appliance
due to a sudden steaming.

INTENDED USE
Use the food processor only in combination with the hand blender models of the manufacturer’s HBF line. For
complete information on using the hand blender, refer to the instruction manual provided with the appliance.
Only use the food processor indoors.
The food processor is intended solely for household-type use.
The food processor, thanks to its provided accessories, may be used to blend, chop, mix and emulsify
various ingredients.
Do not use the food processor for purposes other than its intended use.
The appliance is not designed to work with external timers or remote control systems. Monitor the appliance
continuously during use.
WARNING: This product contains a chemical known by the State of California to cause cancer, birth
defects or other reproductive harm.
This appliance can cause low-level exposure to some of the substances listed, including benzene,
formaldehyde, carbon monoxide, toluene, and soot.
MANUFACTURER’S LIABILITY
The manufacturer accepts no liability for damage to persons and property caused by:
Using the appliance in ways other than those provided;
Not reading the user’s manual;
Tampering with any part of the appliance;
Using non-original parts;
Ignoring safety warnings.

This appliance should be disposed of separately from other waste (Directive 2012/19/EU).
This appliance does not contain substances in quantities sufficient to be considered hazardous to health and the

DESCRIPTION OF THE PARTS
S-shaped blade
This steel blade allows you to grind, chop, blend and mix large quantities of ingredients.
Emulsifier Disc
Particularly suitable for whipping cream and egg whites, or for emulsifying sauces of various types.
Reversible shredding disc
The shredding disc can be used to grate vegetables, fruit, shelled nuts, chocolate and cheese. It has two
different sizes for fine or coarse grating.
Variable slicing disc
Can be used to slice most foods. The blade thickness can be adjusted from 1 to 6 mm.
To adjust the thickness, grasp the edge of the disc on the side opposite the blade with one hand and rotate the
circular pin with the other hand until the desired thickness is selected.
Food pusher
Facilitates the introduction of food into the food processor bowl

USE
Preparation for use
Thoroughly wash any parts that may come into contact with food before using the appliance for the first time.
USING THE DEVICE
INFO
The accessory holder must be used with the supplied discs. Improper use may damage the parts.
Place the accessory holder (14) on the pin in the center of the bowl (8).
Place the desired accessory (10,11,12,13) on the provided holder.
WARNING
Danger of cutting
The blades are extremely sharp, place them into position by grasping the plastic parts and keep your fingers
away from the blades.
Place the lid (6) in position on the bowl (8). To close the lid, grasp the feed chute (7) and turn it
counterclockwise.
Place the gearbox in position (5) in the food processor and press down to attach it. Insert the motor body
(4)*, in the gearbox: when it is in the correct position, it will click into place.

Insert the ingredients through the feed chute (7) pressing with the food pusher (9) in a careful and uniform
way. Do not use any other tools to add or push food.
Switch the appliance on by pressing the ON / OFF (2) or the TURBO (3) button.
Adjust the speed by turning the speed selector (1)

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
For safety reasons, unplug the power cord from the wall outlet immediately after use.
Cleaning the motor body of the blender*
Do not immerse the motor body in water or other liquids.
Do not use cleaning products containing chlorine, ammonia or bleach on parts with metallic surface finishes
(e.g. anodizing, nickel or chrome plating).
Clean the motor body with a damp cloth using a mild detergent.
*The motor body is not included and may be purchased separately.
CLEANING THE FOOD PROCESSOR AND ITS ACCESSORIES
1) Remove the gearbox from the lid before cleaning.
2) Do not immerse the gearbox in water or wash it in a dishwasher as this may cause damage. Clean the
gearbox with a soft, damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
3) Carefully remove the S-shaped blade and discs from the food processor bowl before cleaning.
4) The S-shaped blade and discs should be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth using a mild detergent. Do not
use abrasive sponges on plastic or metal parts that could be scratched.
5) The bowl and the lid of the food processor can only be washed on the top rack of the dishwasher. Do not
place them on the bottom rack of the dishwasher.
