OPERATOR’S MANUAL
6-PORT MOBILE CHARGING CASE
MODEL NUMBER CHU6000
This 6-Port mobile charging case is exclusively compatible with EGO POWER+
CHARGER CHV1600/CHV1600-FC or with CH5500/CH5500-FC/CH7000/CH7000-FC
and ACA1000.
WARNING: Do not expose this 6-Port mobile charging case to wet or damp
conditions. Water entering the charging case will increase the risk of electric shock.
WARNING: Do not expose the 6-Port mobile charging case to fire or
excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or temperature above 212 °F (100 °C) while
charging may cause explosion.
WARNING: Refer to the charger manual for detailed instructions. Read and
understand all its safety warnings and instructions. Failure to follow them may
result in electric shock, fire, and/or serious injury.
WARNING: Do not use the storage compartment to keep metal objects like
paper clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small metal objects that can
make a connection from one terminal to another. Shorting the battery terminals
together may cause burns or a fire.

CHARGING BATTERY PACK(S)
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of electric shock or damage to the charging case
and battery packs, charge only those lithium-ion rechargeable batteries specified
in the CHV1600/CHV1600-FC manual. Other types of batteries may burst, causing
personal injury or damage.
1. Open the lid of the charging case
(Fig. 2a and 2b).
a. Pull down the tab.
b. Open the latch.
c. Repeat the above steps with
remaining four latches.
2. Charge the battery pack(s).
IMPORTANT: Follow the steps below in
exact order!

Cette mallette de charge mobile à 6 ports est exclusivement compatible avec les
CHARGEURS EGO POWER+ CHV1600/CHV1600-FC ou CH5500/CH5500-FC/CH7000/
CH7000-FC et ACA1000.
AVERTISSEMENT : N’exposez pas cette mallette de charge mobile à 6 ports
à des conditions humides ou mouillées. La pénétration d’eau dans la mallette de
charge augmentera le risque de choc électrique.
AVERTISSEMENT : N’exposez pas la mallette de charge mobile à 6 ports à
un feu ou à une température excessive. L’exposition à un feu ou à une température
supérieure à 100° C / 212° F pendant la charge pourrait causer une explosion.
AVERTISSEMENT : Référez-vous au mode d’emploi du chargeur pour
obtenir des instructions détaillées. Lisez toutes les consignes de sécurité et toutes
les instructions, et assurez-vous que vous les comprenez. La non-observation des
consignes de sécurité et des instructions pourrait causer un choc électrique, un
incendie et/ou des blessures graves.
AVERTISSEMENT : N’utilisez pas le compartiment de rangement pour y
conserver des objets en métal, comme des trombones, des pièces de monnaie,
des clés, des clous, des vis ou d’autres petits objets en métal qui pourraient
établir une connexion entre une borne et une autre. Le court-circuitage des
bornes d’une pile pourrait causer des brûlures ou un incendie.

CHARGE DU OU DES BLOC(S)-PILES
MISE EN GARDE : Pour réduire
le risque de choc électrique ou
d’endommagement de la mallette
de charge et des blocs-piles, ne
chargez que les piles au lithium-
ion rechargeables mentionnées
spécifiquement dans le mode d’emploi
du produit CHV1600/CHV1600-FC.
D’autres types de piles pourraient
éclater et causer des blessures ou des
dommages matériels.
a. Insert battery pack(s) in battery
compartment(s) as shown in
Fig. 3. Make sure that each
battery pack is securely locked
in its compartment and the
battery release button popped
up.
b. Open the charging port cover
and insert the charger or
ACA1000 connector into the
charging port.
c. Plug the power cord plug into
a standard power outlet to start
the charging process.
CAUTION: To reduce the risk of
damage to the charger cord, keep the lid
open whenever the charger connector is
connected to the charging case.
3. Whenever any battery pack is fully
charged, press the battery release
button to release the battery pack,
then pull the battery pack out.
4. When finished charging, unplug
the power cord from power outlet,
disconnect the charger connector.
5. Close the lid and lock all five
latches.
STORING BATTERY PACK(S)
The charging case can also be used
to store battery pack(s). Simply insert
the battery pack(s) into vacant battery
compartment(s). Make sure that each
battery pack is securely locked in its
compartment and the battery release
button popped up.
To prevent damage to battery packs,
store the charging case with battery
packs inside only at room temperature.
TRANSPORTING
The charging case is equipped a pair of
wheels to make transporting it easy and
fast (Fig.4).
