HEDGE TRIMMER ATTACHMENT — HTA2000/HTA2000-FC/HTA2020/HTA2020-FC20
REMOVING THE ATTACHMENT FROM THE POWER HEAD
1. Stop the motor and remove the battery pack.
2. Loosen the wing knob.
3. Press the shaft-release button and, with the button pressed, pull or twist the
hedge trimmer shaft out of the coupler to separate it from the power head.
MOUNTING THE TIP PROTECTOR
(Available separately)
1. Use a hex wrench (included in the
combo package) to remove the short
bolt, plain washer, bushing and nut
at the end of the blade
(Fig. 7). Save the plain washer,
bushing and nut for reassembly.
2. Align the tip protector with the bulge
on the blade and mount it into place.
Secure it with the new long bolt and
nut as well as the saved washer,
bushing and nut (Fig. 8).
