To Remove Battery Pack (Fig. 7b)
1. Hold the battery pack in your hand.
2. Press the battery-release button
upward and the battery pack will
disengage from the latch.
3. Grasp the battery pack and remove
it from the vacuum cleaner.
WARNING:
Always be aware of
location of your feet and children or pets around you when separating the battery pack
from the vacuum cleaner. Serious injury could result if the battery pack fails. NEVER
remove the battery pack at a high location.
WARNING:
Always remove the battery pack when the vacuum cleaner is not in
use.

WARNING:
Do not attempt to
override the operation of the power
button.
WARNING:
When the vacuum hose
is connected to either suction inlet port
or blowing outlet port, never get close to
the other vacant port. Failure to follow this
instruction may cause serious personal injury.
To Start the Vacuum Cleaner
1. Verify that power head assembly is installed onto the dust tank and the dust tank
is securely locked. Ensure that the vacuum hose, required extension tube(s), and
nozzle are connected properly.
NOTE: The vacuum cleaner runs only when the power head assembly is securely
attached to the dust tank.
