Rule
The detecon
area only
supports one-
way direcon.
Click
to draw a straight detecon line.
If the straight line cannot cover the entrance/exit, you can click to draw
a polyline and adjust the posion and shape of it.
The arrow at the detecon line stands for the entering direcon. You can
click to change the direcon.
Note
●
The detecon line must be completely contained within the detecon
area and perpendicular to the path of the person passing through.
●
If the target crosses the detecon area along the direcon of the arrow
and crosses the detecon line, then it is counted as one entering target.
●
If the target crosses the detecon area along the reverse direcon of
the arrow and crosses the detecon line, then it is counted as one
exing target.

Make sure the two areas don't overlap.
●
If the target enters from area A to area B, then it is counted as one
entering target.
●
If the target enters from area B to area A, then it is counted as one
exing target.

Set ow overlay parameters.
OSD Overlay Content
Select the counng data type to be displayed in the live view image from the drop-down list,
and adjust the display posion of people counng data in the live view image.
Note
OSD overlay only counts the number of the person on the current day. The data will be
cleared automacally when the device restarts or at the daily reset me.
Daily Reset Time
The device clears the data in 00:00 each day by default. You can select a me point through
the drop-down list. Aer selecng, the counng data will be automacally cleared at this
me point every day.
You can click Manual Reset to manually trigger a data reset and clear the current people
counng data.
